[Attention New Chicago residents they're been an overwhelming amount of reports of goblins and trolls, NCPD wisely advised anyone and everyone to reach out to their local awaken branch if they have came in contact or seen any suspicious activity]
"AHhhh!" A loud yawn echoed through an empty office as a young man in his late teens, 19 to be exact stretched his arms. The young man slowly woke up and he ran his hand through his hair. His was a beautiful dark shade of red, the same color as his eyes. This young man's name was Red Dawn, his mother had a weird sense of humor and decided to name him after his abnormal hair color.
"What… what time is it? 10 am, just my luck I missed the deadline." Red said as he stumbled out of his office into a small dirty bathroom. Towels and clothes were stacked in a pile on the side of the toilet and the sink was filled with dirty water.
"Is it clogged again, come on Red you have to remind that fat bastard to fix his plumbing." Said Red as he stuck his hand in the sink to remove what was stopping the water flow. A thick clog of hair was now his hand as Red looked at himself in pity.
How couldn't he, ever since he was a little kid he was dealt a bad hand, kid's called him a freak and bullied him before they could even get to know him causing him to develop into a shut-in for a few years of his life. When he finally got out of that phase and regained some confidence, he made one mistake that curse him for the rest of his life. No matter what he do or did nobody trust him, and no job hired him. He was in a constant state of depression with no goal in mind. His grade dropped and he later decided to drop from school altogether crushing any chance he had of becoming a famous awakener.
Sitting on a couch in his mother's house watching old cops movies he had an idea, why doesn't he become a Private Detective? These days anyone can become a P.D all you have to do is follow the awakeners' guidelines and communicate with the police or a hunter associate. This sounded like heaven to his ears at the moment and an opportunity to change his life for the better. So Red sold his mother's house and brought a small apartment that he made into a makeshift office but Red is anything but Lucky.
Being a P.D was harder than he thought, the local police department didn't like him, they said "If you want to solve a crime, join the police department or become a hunter. We don't need a hot head walking around acting like the second coming of Sherlock Holmes.", not only that not a single job offer has been made. He spent two full months self-advertising only to get a couple of old ladies wanting him to find their lost cat.
"Looks like it's another slow day, I hope Miss Amber at least stops by." Said Red and he flopped down on his old couch and turned on the news.

[ Four Kids have gone missing at Lion Highschool, we have no idea what was the cause of it but we can say for certain monster had nothing to do with it. We go to Jackson who's at the scene.
"Thank you, Sandy."
"Now Jackson, we're being told this event is the school's first of its kind."
"Yes Sandy, I was just talking with the headmaster of the high school, he's heartbroken and angry that four kids went missing under his watch. Headmaster Todd has vowed that he will find the kids and bring to justice who did this."
"That's good news, Jackson]
"Bullshit, I give it a week and he will cover it up… they all do that." Mumbled Red as he looked at his apartment, I mean office door.
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Bang*
"Give me a minute! I'm coming!" Yelled Red as he toss his remote to the side.
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Bang*
"I SAID WAIT!" Yelled Red as he yoink the door open. A teenager no older than 15, was standing in front soaked head to toe. She had dark golden hair in two ponytails that stretched down to her shoulders. She was wearing a blue and white school dress with a lion on the collar. "May I help you?"
"Yes, are you Red? The one who called himself a real detective?" Asked the girl in a shaky voice as she wiped the water from her face.
"Yes…"
"Thank God! I need your help!" Scream the girl as she hugged Red.
"Woah!" Scream Red as he tried to push the girl off of her. "Calm down! Calm down, tell me what happened." Said Red as he tried to pull the girl inside of his apartment.
*Bang*
"NOOO!" Scream the girl as she pulled away from him and fell to the ground.
"What are you doing?"
"Just stay back!"
"I can't help you if I don't know what's going on. Is someone after you?" Asked Red as he looked to the end of his apartment hall.
"No one's chasing me, I just… I can't trust anyone right now."
"Ok, ok, I get it, that lion on your collar, are you from white lion Highschool?"
"Yes."
"Are you perhaps one of those students that went missing?"
"No, but I think I know who did it…"
"WAIT DON'T TELL ME! Did you tell the cops first?"
"Yes, but they laughed in my face and force me out, then… then…"
"What happened next?"
"3 strangers began to follow me home, they only stop when I looked back and started to run."
As if someone lower the temperature, the air went cold, Red looked at the young girl with a serious expression. "Did you go straight home?"
"…"
"I need you to answer me! This could be life or death!"
"I… I… Yes."
*Punch*
"Fuck!" Screamed Red as he punched his door frame in fury scaring the girl. "Listen to me and listen to me carefully."
The girl nods her head and slowly back away from Red.
"Tell me your address!"
"Why!"
"Enough questions! This could be life-threatening! What's your address?!" Screamed Red
"134 black street…"
"Good, listen here, lock my door, and don't leave. If someone comes knocking don't answer, I will have a key and I will say ice cream when I come back. If you don't hear ice cream, I need you to run to the back window and escape. I will find you."
"But… But.."
"But nothing, listen to these steps and you might survive the day. Now get inside before your followers spot you."
