Chapter 1 -

The State of Chaohu is a big region. The springtime weather was neither cold nor scorching hot. Light winds caressed the land, passing the mountains of the Northern Reaches, blowing over the lands of the Great Chaohu.

Under the clear sky inside a house in a small mountaintop a young man looking down in the valley through the windows.

A lean young man wearing a leather jacket and pants and holding a bottle gourd. He appeared to be about fourteen or fifteen. He was not tall, and his skin was somewhat brown and his eyes unable to contain is confusion. And yet, all his confusion seems to be hidden by the frown on his face.

He had wake up not long ago and not recognizing this unfamiliar place and the only this he remembers was going to his bed.

“What that F*** …” before he could finish memories flowed into his mind that seems to not belong him. This memory was messy.

....

This young man, his name his Meng Kuan, an average servant of River Path Sect. His mother unknown, his father missing and did not leave much but only a token. That was an admission token, his father told him that he used to be an outer disciple in the sect, it was given to him because of his huge contribution to sect when he decides to leave. This token allows one of his descendants to be accepted without to wait a 10-year period for an admission.

He had arrived about 2 years ago when has twelve, he had been given a Qi manual, a token and new accommodation. Because of the token he received 3 pill Qi and then given a basic explanation about to the sect servants affair and assigned to a job.

Not long after he had entered the sect he had been attacked and stabbed and his Pill Qi taken. This pill in the servant region it's very expensive, one would work all his life and yet not have a way to buy it unless he/she came from a wealthy clan or family. Although some ups and downs, it at taken almost 2 years to arrive at the Mortal Qi late stage and then he waits some time for the outer disciple test to start.

Unlike the 10 years admission period the outer disciple test was held every 5 years. The test was pretty simple one had to be at Mortal Qi the lasted stage and break to the Qi Condensation stage, it is easy said than done it. It had its risk, one could break it's Qi Vain that could make one unable to practice anymore rendering then waste or even die in the worst case. It is a hurdler for thus taking it, their turning point in life.

During the test he had sat down on the Qi Compressor Array not long after the array shone with a bright blue light creating a huge pressure in is Qi vein rushing to his dantian.

A Qi Compressor Array it's used to amass Qi and force it inside the participant and then one should be used this Qi to broke their dantian barrier and create a Core Qi region in it. If one had a spirit root it would boost the success rate and if the spirit root has a higher tier one would be almost 100 per cent rate of breaking to Qi Condensation stage.

At the moment that a huge amount of Qi had rush to his dantian he starts to circulate the Qi in his dantian creating a thin wall around it forming a hollow sphere after the wall was done, he started filling it with qi slowly increasing the size of the Core QI.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

This was actually the complicated part after one creates the wall it becomes unstable, and if one doesn't have a spirit root, its body could even start rejecting it. And in all this one had to fill it Core Qi a full time.

Some moment later when the Core QI had formed around its dantian he had arrived at one of the last steps and the more dangerous that is to press against the dantian wall to rip it and to fuse it with the Core Qi and use his spirit root to make the fusion more stable.

After doing all this he had practically passed the hard part and just need to circulate Qi in his new Core Qi to stabilize it. [ BEEP, RES...] Right about where he was finishing the last cycle, he heard a voice ring in his mind distracting him a lit bit losing the control of the Qi that burst out through is entire body even open his old wound and e blackout.

...

"My head really hurts…." he sighs this is too much life history and experience to be recalled. Then he grew silent for a while letting his head cool down.

"Dreaming? what ...? why...? how...?" Question flowed his mind, but no answers to it.

"Sigh..." looking at his surroundings and this new memory it indicates that is true, it is happing. He waits for a little so his mood could soothe down and gain some insight into his surroundings.

After a while, he starts analyzing this new environment, first this a world of Cultivation where one pursuit the immortality and power with his rules driven by strength and if you had none you would be like someone servant or some kind of fertilizer and a then question came to his mind 'how did I die?', recalling the blurred vision and the insane heat that he had felt.

"Knock, knock..."There's a knock on the door. This interrupted Meng Kuan thoughts making him look frightening at the door. For him, everything was unknowns and potentially deadly, at this moment everything seems to be tossed out and his vigilance rises to the top.

' Who could it be ' frowning and reorganizing his thought not minding any of the incidents for now.

" Yes," he said with a little voice when he had opened the door with little expression of fear that was mask by his pale face looking at the little chubby man around 1,66-1,69m that seems around 24-26 years.

" Junior Brother I came to take you to the Administration Hall," said while showing a little anger by the way he had been received at the door.

Seem the chubby displacement the Meng Kuan start to hurry up searching his mind.

"Senior Brother thank you for time " After realizing why the chubby had shown his discontent with his. He starts to try acting more like his memory even taking a lite bow to show so respect. Them he concluded that people in this world take respect to another level.

"Heh heh... junior brother doesn't need to be so stifled, you can call me Han Zong, " said Han Zong with a light smile as he had seen a complete respectful replay from his junior Brother and thought that he might that way because he still suffering from the injury.

Seeing a little smiley in his face e replay yet more respectful " Thank you senior Zong you can call me... Meng Kuan " he made a little pause recalling is new identity.

"Ok junior Kuan I'm here to take you to complete your outer disciple registration" this time Han Zong said with a more friendly voice has he see Meng Kuan pale face.

" And I hope that your injury is better after what during outer disciple test," said Han Zong recalling.

" Thank you again senior Zong, this junior is feeling a little better... and what happens during outer disciple test? " This last part picked Meng Kuan interest as this event was very refreshed in his mind, and might be related to him.

" Oh, junior doesn´t remember. Ok this is what happened..." said Han Zong recalling what he heard about this outer disciple test.

During the outer disciple test, one of disciple Core Qi seems to go out of control causing ripples of Qi to affect other disciples causing a cascade effect. And because of it, some disciple failed to form their Core Qi, some ended with an injury like Meng Kuan and was said that one even died.
