The coastal village of Summershore was a peaceful haven by the sea. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Carly, a curious child, returned home with bubbling joy, she had arrived from school where her mother had picked her up. Her eyes sparkled as she shared with her mother how much fun that day at school had been.

“The boy had his cell phone hidden in the classroom and the teacher hadn't noticed, until he accidentally turned it up too loud, everyone started laughing and he lost his phone for the rest of the lesson”

“Your teacher did the right thing, as I've always taught you, school is a place for learning, but since you brought it up, we're home, here's your cell phone, dear,” the mother calmly handed it to her daughter, who in a few seconds was already putting on a video to watch.

“How the discovery of this new particle can change the world, elementals are revolutionary, come with me and I'll show you how to win....” When the ad was skipped, the mother looked worried and Carly noticed.

“Is something wrong, Mom?” Her mother quickly pulled herself together. ”No, daughter, I was just wondering how this new particle works.”

“I saw it on a video and it looks like magic, like they made water out of nothing, it was amazing, you could help everyone in the world with it.” After this excited response, she turned her attention back to the video.

“Carly, dinner's ready!” As she walked down the stairs she saw her father coming home from work, and when he saw his daughter he immediately put on a happy face. He also sees his wife who gives him a welcoming kiss.

“Ew, why do you always have to do that?” she said, frowning ‘One day you'll understand, for now let's eat’ Sitting down quickly at the table Carly said ‘I'll eat as soon as possible, I was in the middle of my game, Mom’.

With the food already on their plates, Carly quickly devours her food while her mother and father don't even touch them. “This new particle we've been talking about is a big deal, the people at my work haven't stopped talking about it, I've seen some saying that they were even using it in the military, what do you think Emma?” with a brief pause she replies ”I don't know Alex, it's all so worrying, you know, it's been 5 years since it was discovered, but there are so many new discoveries that they keep calling it new, it could help us a lot, but since it was discovered there's been this tension, I just hope that it's not going to happen... ”

“I'm done, I'm going to my room,” Carly shouts, getting ready to run to her room, as she puts the dishes in the sink and gets ready to run.

“There was no earthquake warning, what are the authorities doing?” says Alex as he runs towards his daughter. The air was tinny, they could see electricity crackling in it from time to time. Suddenly, the ground began to rise, Carly's father took her in his arms as he tried to balance himself “Emma you're okay”, but without time for answers sharp spikes cut through the air violently, at an impressive speed. Carly's parents were hit by stone spikes that looked like spears, their bodies pierced in an instant.

When she looked at her mother, she was slumped over, it had hit her right in the stomach. Father and daughter watched as she tried to raise her hand to them, until her arm fell lifeless.

The father, with no time to think, tries to stand firm, hugging his daughter tightly so that her gaze is averted, he tries to move the pierced leg, only for the shaking and the elevations in the house to reappear, with no time to think he says “Carly I'm going to lift you up to the fan, hold on tight I know you can do it” he lifts her as high as possible, she manages to hang on and hears “Run away, Carly”, after which sounds of drilling and bones breaking were heard.

The whole village seemed to be twisting and turning, as if the earth itself was rebelling against its inhabitants. Screams echoed through the streets, but were soon drowned out by a terrifying silence, which was only broken by the girl's sobs.

Carly, in shock, watched in horror as all those stakes around her disappeared, the bodies of her parents fell to the ground, it was as if they had never existed.

“Why did this happen?” the tears flowed, but just when she thought it was over, suddenly her breath was taken away. She struggled to breathe, but the air seemed to have been stolen from the world. She struggled in despair until she lost consciousness.

When Carly woke up, she saw that her house was on fire. In desperation, she ran to the door that led into the entrance hall, but as soon as she pulled it open, flames were thrown in her direction, and it wasn't long before her body was being consumed by fire. She screamed in agony, her voice joining the chorus of pain and despair. The fire danced around her, devouring everything in its path in an inexplicable frenzy.

Then, as if it were a nightmare, the fire disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, leaving behind only ashes and ruins. A tidal wave wiped out the last remnants of the fire, and the village that had once been home to many was now just a distant memory.

The group that did this sent a detailed video of how it happened, but never identified themselves. This attack became known as the Silent Massacre, and after seeing that elementals could easily be used for war, the world entered an abyss of mistrust and fear. And five years later, in 2035, the Third World War began.

Fifteen years of war have left indelible scars on humanity, with more than a billion lives taken by the conflict. However, the real nightmare was yet to come.

As if it were a terrible punishment for abusing the essence of the planet itself, the Earth changed suddenly and devastatingly. Without explanation, the continents began to move, converging to form a new Pangea. An unprecedented cataclysm claimed the lives of more than six billion people in just two years, as if the world was crying out for unity, for joint survival.

Surprisingly, life still thrived on the transformed face of the planet. Two monumental rivers flowed from the heart of the new Pangea, they paralleled each other in an X shape, so that this land, being divided into four parts, fed countless streams and creeks that spread far and wide, making forests and green fields the continent's main biomes. Only a desert remained, a silent witness to nature's fury.

These two rivers were named the Amazon River and Astraea, symbolizing humanity's new direction.

The elementals, once as tiny as an atom, were now visible to the naked eye, manifesting themselves in bright, glowing currents that flowed through the new land. It is believed that the rapid recovery of nature was triggered by this mysterious phenomenon.

The few survivors, half a million souls worn down by the tragedy, understood the lesson the Earth had taught them. They would not dare defy nature again, nor would they get involved in conflicts that could destroy the world. Fear caused a new era of cooperation and respect to emerge.

With this new awareness, humans began to rebuild civilization, this time trying to maintain harmony with nature. Instead of expanding horizontally and deforesting vast tracts of land, cities flourished vertically and underground, integrated with the winding streams and lush forests.

Over the years, spectacular cities have sprung up, intertwining with the natural landscape in ways never before imagined. Humans learned to coexist with the world around them, embracing a new kind of power - no longer power over nature, but the power to live in harmony with it.

And so humanity was reborn from the ashes of destruction, not as masters of the Earth, but as its humble guardians and fellow travelers.

After centuries of transformations and adaptations, the world's living beings have fundamentally changed the way they exist. A new organ was born in most of the remaining animals, known as the Mana Core. This organ allowed both people and animals to absorb and use elementals, unleashing a new era of power and potential.

With the ability to acquire superpowers, the focus of military power was redirected towards humans, whose ability to manipulate elementals became a crucial strategic advantage. However, despite the rise of humanity, a delicate balance was maintained between all forms of life, especially in the face of the growing danger posed by animals, now endowed with superhuman powers.

Although humanity has faced imminent threats of extinction in the past, unity and resilience have prevailed. The earth has become one big Pangea, a testament to the survivors' ability to adapt and thrive in the face of adversity.

As the bell echoes, interrupting the lesson, a subtle reminder of everyday life in this new world, the teacher reflects on the tumultuous past while encouraging his students for the uncertain future.

“That was the lesson for today, students,” the teacher declares, his voice resonating in the air. “I wanted to talk about it because some of you may not be coming back as you have a test tomorrow. Since I'm not going with you, good luck. I hope one of you manages to become a wizard.”
