Amidst the seasonal Winter depression, I got stuck with some things that affect the story less and are more like funny fluff and set dressing. Well, there are some really important stuff too, but you'll see.

I consider myself pretty good when it comes to coming up with unique ideas and symbolism, but I don't have enough time nowadays to read holy books like the Bible/Quaran/Bosch Dishwasher manual for niché references that are really out of place in a webnovel SO! THIS IS WHERE YOU GUYS COME IN and i forgot to let go of shift oops

A., In the next chapter, a new NPC will be introduced (from the slot machine that ruined the floor in Edgar's house, remember?). She will specialize in architecture, so as you can imagine, her main thing will be building stuff. I know what she will be like and what she will do, but I have no idea what she should be exactly. By that I mean,

3. Furry (no, but like an anthropomorphic creature, a mix of human and animal, like a minotaur)

B., Now that we got that out of the way, what animal should she be based off of?

C., After the first wave, Tanuki will come in possession of a Dungeon Key. However (for obvious reasons), he won't be able to do it and instead, he'll have to send two NPCs in to raid it. Who should they be? Choose two! (They will get a mini-arc. Like, actually mini, like the dungeons is about five tiles. That's it. An actual mini-dungeon)

The next few chapters will follow NPCs while Tanuki puts the "tower" into "tower defense". That means elaborate traps and strategies inspired by real-life medieval warfare. Have you heard of any cool things used in those times that you would like to see in the novel? (Sadly we cannot catapult cows at the enemy's castle, but that would not be such a bad idea) :p

Since there will be an architect, you got to wonder what kind of style she will be inspired by when building stuff. I already got a good idea myself for how things will look early on and what culture they will be inspired by, but if you have any architectural styles that you really like, please tell me, so I may get inspired by them!

What new type of tree should appear on the island? Less important, more just set-dressing, hehe!

That's it. Thank you for reading the novel and keeping up with chapters, and my sincerest apologies for the slow pace. I'm utterly in love with this novel (which probably shows by how much I love detailing almost everything about Tanuki's island) and I won't stop writing it anytime soon. Again, we are in for the long run! ;)
