Me and James shouldered the door open, looking right. A bang later, the only guy that was standing was dead, and we dashed forward. Right after us, I heard a group of our classmates dash out. They were going down the other side of the hall. James took the dead guy's gun and his bullets. I stood, nervously scanning the area around us with my eyes. He took the spare clips and ran back towards the other group. He gave them the pistol and rushed back to me. He nodded, and motioned me to follow him. We quickly travelled past the hallway until we were in front of the classrooms. Suddenly, a loud bang came right from that very classroom, followed by a couple of screams. James looked at me. "On three, ok?" I nodded with the sudden urge to cry. I felt too nervous, our lives were on the line and I didn't want to die! I had a lot of pressure on myself. I wondered how James was doing. He should've been a lot more nervous because he was planning all out, and he had killed someone already. I shook my head. Those were for later. I probably had forgotten James counting, so all I heard was "and three, go!" I quickly jumped a little where I was standing, and followed into the room right after James. There were again two baddies. Thankfully, James manage to shoot the guy that was seemingly doing something I don't want to talk about at the back of the classroom, but he was too late for the other one rushing at us. I tried to spray the guy in the eyes, but he didn't seem to be bothered. I freaked out, and swung a punch as hard as I could. I heard something crack, and the guy slow down. Then, with the moment's excitement, I landed more strikes on the guy: punches, kicks (I bet his balls were no more), throwing the perfure can and stabbing. I didn't stop kicking him when he was laying on the ground. I felt undefeatable. Then James grabbed arm. "I'm pretty sure he won't do any harm to you now." he said. "I check the right, you the left." he said, and walked up towards the back, where the guy he had shot was. I walked towards horrified faces. All desperate, panicked, and hopeless. Those expressions changed to something more happy, and they stood up from under their desks. I made sure each of them was okay, accepted some hugs and looked for James. He had just stood up with a girl next to him. The girl seemed to be really upset, and she was crying onto his shoulder. He patted her in the back and walked her towards a group of girls, as they took her among themselves. He then quickly asked if everyone on his side was okay as well, and came towards me. "Okay, we're good now." He smiled faintly for a moment. "I'll wait outside to check." I said. His expression darkened. "Be careful." I rolled my eyes, freaking out inside, and brought myself up to malking out the door. Now that's where things got really interesting.
