I woke up at the pedestal, light seeping in through the cracked and mossy dome ceiling. It felt so comfortable, like I was sleeping in my bed at home, wherever my home was I had no idea. I felt a pull at my mind. 'Head north' it said, and so the sword released itself from the pedestal and I left through the front door into the ice cold wilderlans my armor clinking with every step.
There is one word I will always remember, it was engraved onto my sword yet I never understood its meaning. 'contract. Right on the hilt below the engraving of a seed.
This cold mountain top is no place for a normal being, and its a good thing I wasn't one. Not so good for its normal residents, lying there in a heap of blood and entrail after they were crushed by my sword energy. 'pitiful beings'. There fur might protect them from the cold, but it protects them from little else. The snow wiped clean the blood that splattered on my armor revealing a beautiful black shean and the few scratches the beasts left on it. Those won't heal up for a couple of weeks.
I noticed a small dungeon on the mountain path. 'As good a time as any to fuel up'. It was infested with large yeti like creatures,'looks like this will take a while'. I slid out of the way of a tossed rock and released a line of sword energy causing blue blood to flow from the creatures chest. For a humanoid it wasn't too smart to focus on aiming instead of protecting itself, though i guess this dungeon is the only thing keeping it alive in an area with virtually no food and it must have prioritised the dungeon over itself. It did a final rush and all I had to do was hold out the sword and "shing" it was impaled. After scanning the creatures brain, I traveled along the fasted route to the core and "bang" it was in pieces.

I took my time slowly eating the core, with an inefficient patrol that the monsters follow they would never find me before I finished. With that I was back on the path, the immesurable responsibilty I felt yet no knowledge of why, I'll figure it out when I get there.
[In a tower above a bustling city]
Old man : "Edward, fetch my {Staff of paths}, the sword {Perfect seperation} has begun moving after 200 years"
"yes sir wise man" ,the golden knight said, immediatly hurrying down the stairs.
The old man thought to himself 'maybe I should tell the seven, this could destroy the diunversal chain', while pressing the button on the communicator, "we have a code red, assemble at once brave heros". ' I only hope the nobles faction doesn't claim the sword for their own use'.
[At the bottom of the white star mountains]
'Even if i'm only armor I'll always prefer sunshine over snow' The knight in black thought not knowing the trials that await him.

Armor ,while more durable , heals itself far slower than flesh without a blacksmith, however everyone knows that profession almost completely died out after the invasion. Now instead of swords humans use guns, and instead of metal humans use kevlar for armor. After that upgrade humans also converted almost every dungeon core into infinite energy batteries, hiding most of Backup Plan No. 2, or BPN2's food source in heavily gaurded facilities.
