Chapter 9 : Ticket's

Chapter 9 : Ticket's

“Omg, you can’t just knock a girl out.”

“I accidentally tripped and headbutted her. “ Iria says with a cute face, my eyes are currently closed but I have that six sense.

“I’m sorry I am too ashamed.” calls Iria as I hear a slam of the door.

“I feel bad for teasing her about it.”

“Nah, you shouldn’t be”

Is that Sayaki?

“I’m heading off before this idiot wakes up.” I hear another slam of the door. Time to open my eyes.

“Hi Hayate”, I say, clutching my head. Which I feel a large lump on the side of my head and I have a bad headache

“You're feeling alright.” she asked sympathetically.

“I think so, what happened again.” it turns out I had no recollection of how I ended up in this state really.

“Iria accidentally headbutted you.”

Oh now I remember, I insulted that blonde haired girl and then Iria screamed out my name. I wonder if she tripped on purpose. I also realized that I had insulted the very person that I was meant to be sucking up to.

Apparently I insulted the head of the group 2 Amanda, or Ama for short according to Hayate. Hayate said that it was cool what I did, But what she didn’t understand is that our stock after this stupid thing is determined by our impression on the groups. Maybe I’ll just have to perform with rookies for the rest of my life.

Back at Sabiti’s house, Sabiti was standing in the kitchen watching Cya actively engage in a conversation with Samarchi and Sid. Sid is just sitting there on the couch with the book while Cya is even trying to talk to him. He just ignores it and reads the book. Sabiti decides he should probably get back to doing something productive than watching three brain dead morons conversations.

“Hey Sab” calls Sid. Sabiti quietly thinks for Sid not to call him that annoying nickname.

“What is it”

“You know the mission you gave for your sister to try and suck up to the leaders of the groups.”

“Yeh”

“Do you really think she can complete it?” Sid says, raising an eyebrow.

“No”

“Can you elaborate on that please.” said Cya finally turning her attention to me, however her gaze seemed surprisingly more cold than to either Samarichi or Sid.

“Those Idol’s in there are not what you would call typical normal people. As you would assume you know Cya. All the top people are rather extremely talented, psychopaths, or both.” Cya slightly nods.

“So”

“Well instead of sucking up to them you need to intrigue them. Make them take interest in your strange abilities.”

“Strange abilities?”

“Tayaki could perfect a song routine without ever practicing it, Hayate could control her face muscles to create nearly any expression perfectly at will. Osiki had practiced every type of dance routine, giving her the ability to blend from different dance styles. Salima could, actually I won’t mention hers.” they all seemed slightly confused.

“She is most likely going to insult them and lose her temper. And that may be her ability, a complete lack of fear of competition way above her payload.”

They all look at Sabiti with an odd expression. ‘They are all impressed’ he thinks.

‘What a complete Idiot’ is thought simultaneously by the other three

I finally get home from the whole notion of getting knocked out, and of also accidentally declaring war against a senior.

“Hello Sanaka” my brother calls oddly cheerfully from the kitchen. I have noticed that my brother likes to spend a decent amount of time in the kitchen doing nothing, I believe it’s probably to feel like he has a use.

“Do you have dinner cooked?”

“yeh “

“Is it edible?” Cya interjects this time. Cya has seemed to take on Sid and Samarchi’s traits a lot. Sid and Samarchi look at her, almost seemingly with a sense of pride.

“Well I hope so.” Says my brother poking at the pot with an odd frown. That is not a good sign.

We all sat down at the table as my brother served the food. It was quite odd having Cya at the table originally but now I’m kind of used to it.

Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

“Cya, you live alone don’t you?” I ask out of curiosity.

“yeh “

“That must be quite lonely.” Sid says sadly.

“Well there's always more room at my home for someone.” she says smiling and blushing slightly while looking at Sid and Samarchi, however Sid and have just engaged in a conversation about dinosaurs taking over the world.

I don’t know if Cya is purposely putting on a front like that in front of us or not. The main problem is I can’t understand this matchmaking, she is a rich independent woman who has fallen in love with these two bozo’s. I look over to my brother, is he catching onto these absurd actions?

‘She obviously looked at them because she was too shy to look me in the eyes when she said it, how cute.’ brothers thoughts.

Okay for some reason I get the hint that he does not understand the current situation.

“Anyway, getting to the point. I realized something quite dumb. You’ve never been to a professional Idol’s CX co concert.” My brother says seemingly engaging consciousness.

Wait a second he is right, that is really dumb.

“So the book didn’t even think of that.” Cya says, doubting the book. However Sid starts laughing quite maniacally. Cya gives a look of sadness obviously not liking being tormented by the guy she likes.

“Explain?” I ask.

“Page 126, line 37 to 38, exactly 7.8593 cm away from the top of the margin. The book states you will have forgotten about actually going to watch a proper Idol performance.” Sid states without conveying any emotion now. We all look at Sabiti to clarify if this is true.

“How the hell would I know?” he says, sticking his hands up.

“We can check” says Sid pulling the quite large book out from his small pocket, I don’t know how that book fits in there, the book defies physics?

With a perfect flip of the pages Sid lands on page 126. Showing us exactly where the text is written, and sure enough it says what Sid says to the dot.

“Wait but how the hell would it know, And like it knew that a person trying to become an Idol wouldn’t have seen an actual performance. It defies all abnormalities.” Cya says in disbelief.

Sid and Sarmachi smile. “I’m afraid we haven’t even tapped into 1% of the true power of the book,” they say, holding the book in the air. The book seems to radiate almost glowing.

“What the hell are you guys doing, no the book does not have any secret powers. And the only reason why I started talking about this is because I got 9 tickets to the next group 3 performance.” my brother says speedily so he doesn’t get interrupted.

“Why did you get nine?” everyone said in unison.

“I mistook it for a 3.” my brother says looking sad.

“Why did you need 3 tickets?”

“I actually don’t know” he hands out the tickets to all of us.

“These aren’t normal tickets, you know?” Cya points out. It was true they had in big letters VIP on them.

“What VIP tickets, crap I thought they were a bit more expensive than I remembered.”

“Aren't these like 400 dollars?”

“600”, my brother says sadly.

“You spent 6,300 dollars on tickets to a Idol concert, and didn’t even blink an eye whether they were a bit overpriced!” My brother has no brain power sometimes, how does he even have that much money? I've never even seen him work a day in his life.

“Do your parents give you that much money?” Sid and Samarchi ask in unison. But our parents don't even have that much money.

“You know if you ever want money, you can ask me for some.” Cya says in an alluring voice looking at Sid and Samarchi. She is obviously not used to having to win over a man.

All the conversations were crap from then on. Eventually we tried to refund the tickets but they said no. We decide for all of us to go, So now we have 3 tickets remaining. I have already decided on Hayate as the sixth.

I can’t believe I have been an Idol for nearly a month, well I actually haven’t performed yet so does that even count. I am currently lying down after another hell filled lesson by Iria, Sayaki has now permanently joined the get killed squad in hopes to destroy us.

Cylei has also joined in now to motivate us, by destroying us and bagging us out, how kind. Sayaki is currently stretching, Cylei is sitting in the corner of the room, sleeping?

“Okay what should we do with the spare tickets, normally I would give them away, but since they are VIP tickets” I ask Hayate with a meaningful look.

“Just give them to friends at school?”

“That is probably really smart.” They both sit there and consider who would be the best candidates for the tickets.

“Did I hear that you guys had tickets to a performance.” Iria asks nicely.

“Yeh my brother said that it would probably be good to watch a performance.”

“You're an Idol without ever watching an actual performance?” Sayaki asked in disbelief. Crap this will look bad.

“No he means to watch a concert with the perspective of being a beginner Idol. the problem is that he accidentally bought VIP tickets and 9 of them.” they all look with a sigh of ‘okay’ that makes sense.

“What idiot would do something like that?” Sayaki and Cylei talk simultaneously. Yes we have already discussed that he is an idiot.

“Why don’t you invite Sayaki?” she asks with a pressuring gaze.

“Well I don’t know if Sayaki would wanna..”

“She would, wouldn’t she” she says while staring over at Sayaki with pressure. Sweat starts to roll down Sayaki’s cheek.

“I would but My cat’s funerals that day”

“You can miss that can’t you.”

“It's also my mum’s birthday” now large amounts of sweat are falling down her cheeks. Iria gets up close now.

“No biggie missing that.”

“M-m-m-my mum is going on a 50 year trip after that day.”

Iria now puts her mouth to Sayaki’s ear “Who cares”

Crap now Sayaki is coming, for the worse of any of us. Well now we have two tickets. So now I’m on my way to school with two targets in mind I guess. The school isn’t really that interesting, it is just a big block rectangle, nothing really fancy. I walk through the entrance of the school, school kids flocking around. I get into class trying to spot my target, she is not here.

“Hey Sanaka.” A girl says jumping on my back pushing me forward.

“Hello Cynthia”

“You are free this weekend.”

“no”

That was kind of the story with everyone today, not a single person was free on the weekend. Am I really that unpopular? Even all of Hayate’s other friends were unable to go on the weekend.
