I figured that because of how much fun I am having with writing this story and seeing how I will continue doing so for the foreseeable future, I might as well include a foreword!

Parasite is a little work of love for isekai light novels and of course litRPGs that I've had going around my head for a while. Unfortunately due to life and other hobbies taking up my time, I am less available than I would like to be, to progress this story at the same pace many writers on RR manage to do. I am aiming for a minimum pace of one monthly chapter, rather than weekly or faster than that, to give each chapter time to be triple-checked for consistency and to avoid writing burnout. Slow and steady wins the race, and all that.
