"Stay here for a while okay?Mom needs to buy for dinner's tonight."

Said a woman in business suit toward her own son,On otherhand 

his son didn't reply,instead only silently staring at her own mother who leave him in a minutes.The boy then proceed to sit at nearby bench and then wait for her mother,or so he hoped.But after an hour,2 hour,the boy knew that her mother would never come back,he then proceed to  stand up from the bench and said.

"...I was abandoned didn't I?No one wanted failure like me."

The boy are not surprised,he already heard it since 2 weeks ago. He knows his day is numbered,so the only thing he could do is to prepare himself.Even thought he was like that he was still crying.

"No,I mustn't cry.I already cry enough for these past 2 week."

He said that to comfort himself,but he still could only cry.He know it was his fault.After all He can't fufill his parent expectation,he failed to enter grade school he was chosen while his sister who was younger than him able to enter a year early because she was genius.Not just that,while her sister is pride of their parent,but him are just trash. He is not prodigy,he never win in any kind of contest.He realized is  just trash that's why he understood  why his parent abandoned him. It was lucky of him able to hear his parent discussions at late of night.

He then went toward train station and then rode the train to unknown place,a place where no one knew about him.

10 years later.

"Xia,can you answer this?"

"Yes."

The male student called shiro already move toward the white board and solve the math problem on whiteboard,after he finished the teacher then clicked his tongue and he returned to his desk that is full of graffiti.But he didn't care about or rather he was used to it. It have been 10 years since everything happened and he abandoned his previous name and changed his name to Luxia with random family name. Everyone called him Xia and was target of bullying.Mainly one reason ,because he was  poorest among them all and only enter because scholarship. Even thought he was in scholarship,the school where he was at the very bottom of ranking and he was only accepted because he enter top 1000.If not it's impossible for him to go to school like others.The other reason because after school is over he go to nearby restaurant and work as dish washer,work as cleaning service and such. once at night he goes jogging and exercise then study for 2 hour then go to sleep for 4 hour.he do this everyday except on weekend,where he wash his own clothes and goes to study for the remaining day.

Until one day a week after exam.

"PLO?"

"You didn't know?"

"No."

One of student talk toward him and request him something,It was common for Luxia to be requested this by  other student,but this was the first time anyone asked him for playing game.The student that requested him then begin to explain his request. But after hearing it ,Luxia only said.

"I am sorry,But I can't do it. I am a beginner after all."

PLO or Parallel Live Online,are virtual that released 9 years ago and was massive hit since day 1 ,mainly because It was the only one kind of game that exist.The reason Luxia never heard of it because he have no friends or rather he never intended to get 1,since the day he abandoned he never believed in anyone else . If you expect something from others then you could only be dissapointed,to him this is just another request.But the guy then begin beg at him.

"Please,beside you there is no one else that I could ask for help."

...Luxia only thinking it was strange,it was impossible for him to no have others to ask for help. Most likely was because he was hiding something,but there was no need for him to ask about it.

"I understand,please tell me more about your request."

The guy then proceed to jump in happiness and begin to proceed to explain his request.To sum it up,his request are to be a meat shield,and even level 1 are enough. Since it was like that ,Luxia have no reason to refuse and accept the request.He was lacking money,so a big job like this was blessing for him. Of course the guy pay in front and then ask to meet him in front of certain address at sunday.Once luxia finished his part time job he begin to research basic about the game.

"I see,no wonder he didn't mind if  I am beginner."

It was because there is no system of hp.It was a game that mirror reality so hp system didn't exist.Sure item durability still exist,but as long your vital safe then you could still fight.There is calculation for attack,defense and such.But it was too complicated for him to understand it right away,for now he keep that aside and then go watch a video of that game.he murmured to himself..

"It will be long night."

By the time he noticed a day already passed,he quickly prepared himself and went toward the designated location.While running,he  come across a girl around his age was standing while comforting  a girl around 5 or 4 years old crying.It was obviously the girl who was trying helping was at lost to do...Luxia could only sighed and then begin to approach them.The girl around his age was alert,but luxia  chose to ignore her and instead show the little girl a magic.It was a simple magic to make a flower appear on his hands and make it dissapear but it's enough to stop little girl from crying.Luxia ignore her and then tell the little girl.

"Don't cry okay?After all  this big sister will help you."

The girl around her age face cramp but she quickly changed her face to smile and asked the little.

"Yes ,Big sister will help you.Can you tell big sister everything?"

Once Luxia heard that,he immediately turn around  and blend into the crowd.But after 5 minutes he was come across the girl from before.She was just walking toward the designated building he needs to enter.The girl obviously didn't notice him yet,so he pretend didn't know.But the girl notice someone is look at her and turn around. She immediately noticed it was the boy from before and approach him.She wanted to say thank you for helping her before..

"Thank you for help-"

"No need.I only help you because it was too noisy.."

As luxia replied,the girl in front of him was confused. But then lux continued to say and make her understand what he means.

"That stupid child cry huts my ear after all."

When she heard that,the girl face changed and clearly was displeased with such an attitude.Luxia of course have no reason to explain any further.But the girl only said.

"What an hypocrite,after all for someone who hate child you sure learn a lot to please them."

"I was just used to it,so can you please stop blocking me?"

Luxia said that as he looked toward girl who keep blocking him.But the girl didn't budge instead put her hand on her waist and said with justified tone.

"This is my suggestion,I hope you turn around and go home.This is not a place you supposed to enter."

"Oh."

"Good if -"

Luxia immediately slipped and enter the building,after all he have no reason to believe girl in front of her nor do as her suggestion.Luxia heard gnashing teeth but he didn't care and continued to walk on.After a minutes the girl took out luxia's wallet out..

"Even thought I wanted to retun this."

She honestly forgot about it,so she instead turn around and took out her phone.She starting calling someone..

"Could you check something from me?This is urgent."

On otherhand luxia was already registered himself  in game and entering the PLO.Unlike others game,this game have no tutorial at all which make luxia's frowned,but he decided there was no point angry over small matters and decided to move toward designated coordinate.It was supposed a 2 floor cafe or so he told,but when he arrived it was already mass of rubble.Did his client give him wrong coordinate?Luxia wasn't sure..but then he noticed the rubble moving and luxia immediately go toward the middle of rubble ,he then moved it away slowly and found the metal door moving.There was someone inside and the handle was broke ,it was obvius that someone was locked because of it.Luxia immediately try to open it but then a sword right beside his neck

"?What were you talking about?"

Luxia turn around his face and saw his client was completey injured ,he obviously would die soon if he was going to let be.

"Don't lie!!!It was you right?After all this place wa-"

It was no use,the guy in front of him was panicking.He won't listen to anything he said,should he fight back?While he was thinking about that,the client already attacking him.He immediately dodge it to the side and then punch his stomach ,then sweep his leg and pinned him to the ground.

"Cought,you Bastard.I would never forgive your betrayal."

A set up?was what luxia though but then he noticed someone approached him. It was a girl in black uniform and have  2 sword at her waist.after further examination he remembered it was the girl he mets a minutes ago.The girl notice about him but decided to ignore him for now and looked toward the client and said.

"Name: Kenji,17 years old this year. Vice-Leader of Vice Grip group,as today agenda selling some ''Product'' To some buyer,then going hunt together with guild member and enjoy the rest of night drinking.Were there any mistake in what I was saying ?Mister Criminal."

Luxia didn't understand what she means by criminal,but nor he intend to find about it.As lux held him,he felt strange force and knocked him away.Was this magic?he wondered,at the same time the black uniform girl already went and cut one of his arm.But the client ignored it and choose to open the metal door with single hand. In there was a little girl covered in ragged clothes and wounds.

"Hostage!?"

The girl stopped was stopped in her track but someone attacked her in the middle of thinking.It was luxia with sword that dropped by the client.Then luxia opened his mouth and said.

"5 minutes.I would buy you 5 minutes..Now  Go."

"Eh?"

Both of the girl and the client was shocked but luxia didn't say anything instead he give a glance toward the client.The Client notice the meaning of his glance and then said.

"Thank you..and Sorry."

As he said that,he carried the little girl with him and run away from the spot.The girl clad in black uniform on otherhand only looked at luxia with serious eyes and asked him.

"Did you know what are you doing?"

"I just do as I was requested.Nothing more."

"As expected,you have other reason didn't you?"

The girl said that,but Luxia didn't answer.The girl then sighed and then said.

"You didn't know much about him,yet why you helped him?"

"He requested me,that's all."

"...Requested?Even if it will implicate you further in your life?Won't you regret it?"

Luxia have no reason to tell her everything,but this would buy him more times.So he needs to answer her.

"I just believe my own judgement.I  would rather believe my client rather than some stranger."

The girl only then replied.

"I see,I guess you were not the same as rumors say."

The girl said that as she appear  in front of him and slash him .Luxia parried with his sword or so he thought since the sword went through and injured him greatly. It was a deep wound and he knows his internal organ was damaged since there was notice in front of him .It reduced his minimum stat greatly...but luxia didn't care and thrust broken hilt of sword toward her neck.Just before it reach her neck ,the girl said.

"It was not bad decision ."

Luxia right's arm was slice apart and fly in the air .He could see the trajectory of his sword but he couldn't react fast enough.It was what girl thinking about the guy in front of him,it was a pity the difference level was too great.But then suddenly a sand was spread over her face.

"A status effect were not something could be blocked by level after all."

"...A pity,Equipment solves that as well.It was just a beginners trick after all."

She said that as she stabbed through his chest with her sword,but luxia only said.

"I know,I never said it was blindness.See you later."

Luxia died,but then she noticed something strange.Her body  feel so sluggish,she immeiately check her stat and immediately notice what's wrong,but then someone with a sniper rifle approaching her.She was a bit shorter than her and wore a jacket on top of her black uniform.She speak  while close one of her eyes toward her.

"President,Shall I chase over the rabbit?"

"No need,It was too late already.Our best option was retreating."

"oKay."

"But before that..was this your work?"

She spoke while pointing on the rubbles around her.

"Of course not,I wouldn't do something risky."

The girl holding sniper rifle shaking her head.She then said toward her president  about the culprit.

"Obviously,It was Justice Member's doing."

The president closed her eyes in displeasure.But then she opened her eyes and then requested her to do something for her.The girl who holding sniper rifle was shocked,but she do as she asked.Once no one left,the girl open the metal door slowly and saw many child heavily injured inside.

"I see...Now I understand why that guy do as his requested.I should leave the rest to the Order Member's."

She said that as she begin to call someone.Then once she called someone she decided something in her hearth,she finally found a candidate .3 Days passed since this accident,right now he was on local hospital and was brought by his own client to visit someone .After visiting the patient,right now they were sitting on bench of hospital garden.The client,then said..

"I was really grateful about your help for 3 days ago.."

"There was no need to thank me,after all I was just do as requested. Beside the extra reward you gave was already enough."

"No,what you do was breach of contract and it was reasonable for you to cancel it.But you still did it for my sister  sake and I could never thank you enough for it."

Luxia didn't deny it ,since what he said was the truth.He have reason to refuse it since they it wasn't as contract said.The client of course didn't know and didn't mind if luxia didn't teld about it.Then luxia immediately said.

"Althought now I understand why you have different temperament compared to others student. You enter our school to be a spy after all."

"Yes,as you said. After all I have no other choices,police couldn't handle it."

Luxia after returned home that day,he immediately research after it.He think it was easy to search since it enter news ,and was relatively small Accident.The reason why this happen was because the game itself .PLO was a game where avatar mirror your real appearance,because of that they used the game itself as method of transaction. Although this was not the first time it was happening and it was pretty common.Since this accident was run by relatively small group so the damage was small as well.All of the kid was safe and returned to their parents.

"You see luxia,What I did was really unreasonable.But I just couldn't stand it,after all my sister was hurt a lot mentally."

..Luxia didn't talk and only listened after all because there was no need to fear damage on real world,when they do transaction or showcase they often mistreated.Some of victim even have trauma and such.So he understand why his client risk himself ,although thanks to his cooperations the group was captured and put in jail. Just slight mistake could cause himself to enter the jail itself.Well that wasn't his concern,since it was already success already and he come from well off family.There was no need to fear further implication.

"Even thought it was only 3 days earlier.But it was you who helped me saving my sister earlier and avoid any further implication and interrogation. Thanks luxia."

"Was that all?If you were done ,I need to go right now.I need to find a school that would accept me."

Althought his client was safe,but luxia was implicated and was involved in accident.He was interrogated and school found about this and decided to expels him. Well,it was mainly because he go againts principal's wish and make his grandson enter jail for mainly commiting crime.The client hear this could only grit his teeth in anger.

"Society was really unreasonable,even though it was thanks to you we coul capture the main culprit. Yet beside me you didn't get any reward."

"They would gain publicity if it was you since you were son of police inspector.Beside It was me who refuse it."

It was hush money.he didn't want my so called family to catch on about him.So he use his own reward to shut down media,but in exchang he Iwas kicked out of school.Since no one could protect him

"Luxia,did you know some of student went protest again school?Most of them are student you helped."

"It didn't matter,I couldn't remain after all."

There was no way he could stay with what he done especially with he could be backstabbed by principal or teacher at any moment.

"Luxia,you are good guy.you see I was going to transfer back to my old school,why didn't we transfer together."

"I can't.I didn't have enough money.Beside I didn't  trust you myself."

The client couldn't say anything,and could only said.He then stand up from bench.He felt it was meaningless to continue to talk.The client then said as luxia left .

"Regardless what you said,I would always think you as my friend and would gladly help you."

Luxia ignored that and part with him.Once he was out of hospital .It was a cheap phone that given by school and could only do message and call.There was a lot of cheering message ,but he immediately turn of the phone.Friendship was meaningless for him and waste of his time.He only helped because he couldn't stand suffering in front of him and was bullied by bully because he keep protecting others after all.He just didn't want to be like his parents who looks away from him.He dislike it and would sever it without hesitation. He tossed his phone to trashbin since he was afraid of traced by that so called friends.

"What a stupid thing."

"No,It wasn't."

A girl appeared in front of him stop him in road ,it was the girl he fight and met.He wondering why she appears in front of him again.The girl ignored him and then go pick the phone from trashbin,ignoring how it would dirty her uniform.She then wipe it clean with her handkerchief and then pass it to him.

"This was the proof of your life.That's why please don't say It was stupid thing."

"...Who are you?Why you keep stalking me?"

"Stalking!?That's rude!!"

Luxia ignore her cry and could only stare at her stupidly. The girl couldn't stand how he looked toward her,it was  infuriating but different from how guy sees him normaly so she swallow her anger and then coughed a little. She then introduce herself.

"My name is Luna,Luna waltzein.The student of Saint Elicia Academy."

...A rich person.It was what he though,but then her next work make him thought she dumb.

"Would you attend my Academy as scholarship student,Luxia Shiro?"

"No."

"Pardon?"

Hearing his reply ,Luna was baffled after all she was sure he would accept it with his current condition. But luxia explanation makes her rather infuriated.

"Because there was you .I would consider it ,if you transfer over."

"YOU BASTARD!!!"

For the first time in her life ,Luna said profanity.All because guy in front of her.On otherhand luxia was really annoyed how this girl keep following him and wish she go away from him.He immediately toss his phone back toward her and quickly run away from her.Luna was trembling with anger,then started laughing.

"I would catch you luxia!!!I WOULD TAUGHT YOU LESSON FOR SURE!!!"

..Luxia hear that far away and shivered.He didn't know  why he said that since there was no in for him. But he was sure,he would never reject her politely either.Since he dislike that kind of people.At this moment he never realized,this was the turn around of his life.
