"Are we there yet?"
Hearing her question, i ask my own.
"Hey, Pride. How much longer."
The man at the front turns slightly before looking straight ahead again.
"Almost there, my cold company."
"How long."
Sighing, he held out to fingers.
"Two more hours, please be patient."
Hearing my sister sigh, I slowly move back to quietly whisper to her.
"Are you okay."
"Hm? Oh... yeah, thanks for asking."
Not believing her answer, i remained quiet. Prying would seem to only hurt her.
"Alright then."
Nodding, I remained near her.
"Hey... bro..."
"Yeah."
Hearing her call out to me, i glance at her.
"How about you...?"
"Me?"
What is she on abou–
"Are you okay...?"
Oh, simply nodding wouldn't help her due to her knowing how i lie... hm, im still going to lie but it makes me feel bad... wait, feel...?
"Im fine."
"...alright then."
With the new akward air, i began to move forward, back to the middle to protect her from any sneak attacks this 'Lucy' might do.
Although, he just kept walking without even glancing back. Does he think we arent enemies?
Well... back to silently walking again.

"Here it is!"
Hearing Lucy's sudden burst, I looked ahead of him to see a giant bustling town with a huge castle in the distance. Am i a megalophobic person? No. Do i feel overwhelmed? No. Is it still cool? Fuck. Yeah.
"Welcome, to the demon captial! The area that is equal- no, stronger than the Alliance of Good's capital! Welcome to Pandenimo!"
Sounds like a rip-off some another word.
"Lets not get distracted."
Reminding everyone, I took the lead this time and headed for the castle.
"..t.. c.... a.. ri.g...!"
"Le..v... m... al..ne..."
"Y.... ..o si...la..!"
Obviously, i can hear them mumbling but don't know what they are talking about.
If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
"C'mon."
Turning my head, i stop and slightly raise my voice to get their attention. My sister quickly glances to me before quickly getting to me location.
"Lets not seperate. It should be safer."
"Alright then, do you worry about if your gonna trip too? Worry wort."
Did she have to insult me like that, atleast she hasn't changed.
"Our destination? The castle! Lets go inside so we can make the civilians less frightened..."
Me and my sister simultaneously look around us and see the demons–well, more like civilians–shivering in fear as some even hold their children close by.
"Why are they like this?"
"Matter of percpective!"
My sister and Lucy began to speak to eachother as we walked to the castle.
"Shouldn't me and my brother be scared instead of them?"
"Well, what do the demons look like to you?"
Hearing that question, my sister slowly glanced around. I also looked around out of curiosity.
"They look like... monsters, some with horns and some without, some with wings and some without..."
"We may look like monsters but we are still sentient... we are sapient."
"Then why did this war even start?"
I faintly heard Lucy sighing as he looked around solemnly.
"Religion... those fanatics of the 'Holy Empire' decided us to be the followers of their great evil, they named us 'Devils' and 'Demons..."
We passed some kids who were once playing with a ball, they held it tightly as they waited for us to walk by.
"Stripping us of our real species name... to everyone, we are demons, followers and servants of the great evil..."
Passing by shops and demons, we make it to the castle.
"Follow me, you will meet our lord a later date, first you must meet the one who begged and bribed me to take you here!"
He returns cheerful, although not as kuch as before as he urged us to follow him.
"Em, stay close."
"Im not a kid!"
With her sudden defiance, she walked ahead and stood beside Lucy.
Sighing, i walked ahead to catch up to her.
Passing through winding corridors, we kept on following Lucy as he guided us through the castle.
"Here we are! Sloths room!"
He barges in as we followed suit.
"Yo, Behime!"
"What is it... oh, you found them..."
Sloth was a girl? She looked disheveled as if she didn't care about apearances and her eye bags were large... she looked to have a card on her pocket chest? A clubs, i think.
"Go away now Pride..."
Her manner of speech was so lazily slow, as if she thought it to be a sore to speak properly.
"So harsh! Anyways, goodluck you two!"
Leaving us behind, he walks out of the room as his footsteps become more faint.
Me and my sister look at her, Behime the General Sloth.

The white door opens in a dessert.
The Narrorator steps out as he looks around.
"So this is where a new hotspot is?"
While he continued to look around for any signs of a Corrupted, he noticed a strange energy down below near his feet.
"...no way."
He remembers what else could give off this type of energy as he picks it up and inspects it.
"So thats why..."
A letter of the True Name, 'E'.
"Even im tempted to eat this and grow stronger."
He took a step to the right.
BOOM!
Where he stood was a giant spike of glass coming from the ground. He looked to where he could feel a connection between the spike and something.
「CONCEPT FOUND」
"..."
He could not speak when he saw what type of concept was infront of him... the most pitiful type.
「□□i□air」
A shattered concept... an unstable concept and... a Corrupted concept...
"Damn it..."
He readies himself as the crumbling concept continued to attack... it was shedding tears as it attacked.
"□□□□□¡¡¡¡¡¡¡"
It yelled out a pained scream as it kept attacking and crumbling.
The Narrorator kept dodging each spike of glass, shards of glass or even high fast grains of sand.
With a kick to the side after getting close enough, The Narrorator felt his foot sink in, too easily perhaps, as It crumbled to dust...
"It seemed It was on Its last leg..."
Turning around, he walked back to the white door... the inside looked like a whirl of messed up colours.
Stepping in, the white door shut itself as it disappeared with the wind.

The duke, a man of great stature, sat down. His green hair cascading down as he was working on his documents.
"Your grace!"
His Aide barged in as he looked panicked and stressed, sweating as he reached the front of the dukes desk.
"William, what is it for you to have entered my office without permission."
The duke spoke as be continued to write, ignoring the panicked aide.
"T-the Hole Empire!"
The aide began to stutter out a response.
"What of it?"
"I-it, i-its fallen!"
The duke, who was once working, stopped as he put his pen down. He looked at his aide with a serious expression.
"Elaborate."
"T-the hero!... t-they attacked the Hole Empire!"
Words that even the duke found hilarious.
"The hero? Do you hear yourself, William. Do not jest, leave."
"Y-you do not understand, Your grace! Witness testimony of the refugees state that the hero looked like the hero but acted strange!"
"...is there more information.'
The duke, who was annoyed, realized the truth to these words as he became serious again.
"They said that anything the hero attacked became just like him, they looked like the people they knew but... they werent, some witnesses say that the hero was rambling."
"Do you know what the hero spoke of? It may be that curse."
"I-i thought so to but the witness testimony spoke that the hero was yelling three words..."
"And those are."
"I-i am Trozia..."
