Hi Everyone,

I’ve been agonizing over this for a couple of weeks now, but I think it’s time: I will soon be removing all my content from RoyalRoad and other publishing mediums. I need to do this in order to meet amazon’s exclusivity requirements for Painting the Mists’ return to Kindle Unlimited.

I could give a long explanation for why things must be this way, but I won’t. Simply put, it boils down to financial viability of the series and my ability to continue writing full time. Kindle Unlimited gives a way for authors to monetize free. Most self-published authors find they do much better on the Kindle unlimited platform, and that was also my experience before I got hurt by that same system. Still, wounds heal, and like many before me, I need to give Kindle Unlimited another chance. Otherwise, I may not be able to continue writing as a career (yes, it makes that big of a difference).

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

So that’s it in a nutshell. Thank you all for your continued readership. I hope many of you are able to continue reading on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.
