A man stood in a dimly lit room, the sound of cars rushing by were muffled. The room was primarily colored a darkish red. Everything in the room was highly decorated and gave a feeling of lust.
The man reached into his bag uncaring of the elegant room and pulled out a dark blue rain coat. He slid his arms through the sleeves and wore the coat. Reaching into the bag again he pulled out a plain dark blue hat. Pushing back his hair he wore the hat.
Reaching to the end of the table he grabbed a suit covered in red stains and placed it into the bag. He pushed his hat forward a bit covering his eyes and slung the bag over his shoulder. He walked towards the exit and just before he left the room he took one last look at his art work.
Outside, on the street sidewalk the man stood in front of a tall building with the words "Love Hotel" written on it. The heavy rain made the place look like a safe haven. Around he saw everyone walking around as if everything was normal.
He reached down into his pocket and pulled out his phone to look at the time: 10:34 blinked across the screen, "I better get home, I have to wake up early." The man taught to himself.
Reaching into his jacket he pulled out a his ear phones. He didn't like the sound the cars made as they drove by. The first song quickly came on and he began walking.
He lived not too far away from where he was but too far to walk. He paused for a moment to look at the bus stop he nodded and waited for the next bus.
The bus quickly arrived. There were only a few others that were going to take the bus. The man followed the small group into the bus making sure to pay the fee. He sat in the back of the bus and drifted off into his own thoughts.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Loud sirens disrupted his thoughts. Out of nowhere music stopped playing a robotic female voice spoke, "Now downloading latest update."
Confused the man looked at his phone and saw an app downloading, he scrolled down to check which app was updating a saw, "The Game." Flash across his screen. The man thought it was a virus but before he could do anything to stop the download, the download finished.
His phone went black and then lit up again this time loading up the app that had just downloaded. Still thinking the app was a virus the man attempted to turn off his phone but to no avail.
"What is this?" The man taught to himself.
The loading quickly finished like the download, and opened up a menu listing different tabs that were commonly seen in RPG video games. Although he felt odd as the app knew his name and listed it in the top left. Clicking his name an option was given, "Would you like to change your online name? Yes or No."
The man clicked yes on his phone and his keypad showed up. Any name was better than his real name to him. The man entered, "The Artist." The name was accepted and the name changed on his screen.
All the tabs were useless to him except one, the character tab. The character tab held info about him regarding his level, titles, and skills. Currently in his skills he had were three, the skills were "Knife Mastery Beginner Lvl: 9," "Mind of the Artist Intermediate Lvl: 1," and "Painted in Blood Beginner Lvl: 1."
