The Tower. (edited)

The Tower. (edited)

A man coated with dust of past endlessly walking without a goal or direction, suddenly found himself in a world filled with life.

As when he had appeared or where he came from, no one will ever know, as if the man came without a sound and suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

If you look at the man, he seems to be tired and exhausted, and about to lose his conciousness in fatigue. With the fatigue looming over his body. The man left with no choice with his current situation, and didn't think twice as he made the decision to rest and lay down his head on the soft texture of the grass.

If you look at the sorrounding picture from the man perspective. The place was filled with aroma of life and serenity, there were no beast that lurks within the abyss or nor a bloody fight could be found in this holy grounds.

Mountains encompassing the view from the outside, skies passing through edges of the moutain, bunch of petals scattered amid the trees. the plains and the touch of life could be seen just from it.

While vitality seems to fill the whole place, a single structure stood out in the center that seems to exuding an ancient presence.

A black tower carved with mysterious symbols. If you look closely to it the symbols and the lines seems to fill with mysterious energy. The energy was orange gold and at the same time, it seems to following a certain route, and looked like it was merging in the eye found in the surface of the center of the tower.

The golden orange eye gave similar presence of a reaper, waiting for the moment for a poor soul to be stared at its eye and be devoured from it.

Besides the tower, a mountain could  be seen. If you look from afar from it, you will notice that the mountain and the tower had quite a similarities. The tower was built from atop the mountain and while the other mountain seems to exude a similar presence. If you look closely at the place where the tower stood, it look like a twin of that particular mountain.

All of a sudden the eye trembled and started to move its eyes facing a particular direction where the man came from.

----------------------------------------

Time felt like enternity, passing by without a warning.

Who would have thought that in a brink of an eye, the place where the man rest at, change to the extent that the presence of life which had present before was now so minuscle to the point it was not even noticable.

The plain fertile land, where now filled with blizzards out from the sheet of hailing snows.

Waking up from the cold, the man stretch his hands and shook the thick snow around from his body. Feeling uncomfortable from the cold ,the man stood up, but suddenly a expression of pain was written over on in his face as he keeps rolling back and forth while holding his head as if it was trying to recall something.

Then a sudden ancient voice came from within his memories.

"Kid don't even waste your time looking for something that has been lost a long time ago"

"You buried it long ago as your buried yourself into it as well"

"Treasure this opportunity it will guide to your answer," Said by the ancient voice with a gentle tone infused to it.

Waking up from his predicament, the man seems to know what he is going to do and seems to be murmuring from his mouth.

"I am John Farsight?."

"What's with this memories I don't remember having this kind of knowledge," John murmured with a voice containing confusion alongside with it.

"The tower?"

"If I remembered correctly the moment before I took a rest I saw a tower holding an eye at the surface of it.

"And yet the towers around here seems to ordinary and didn't match the description."

"Nevermind, there were lot of towers around that place I used to rest, the eye was the only thing that caught my attention, where as the oridinary towers looked too ordinary to even paid attention. And if you consider the distance, the tower which hold the eye seemed to be only visible since it was burning with strange energy. If not I would have never seen it in the first place" said by john while pondering and holding his chin.

[Wait why I am talking to the air?]

Shaking his head, John walked past from the place he used to and started walking for the tower nearest to him.

Looking at the tower nearest to him. You could see the five towers found in south and north, two from the south and three in the north.

Taking a look of the five tower, john pick a particular strange tower from the north.

While travelling, John would occasionaly look at the tower for some time. Looking from afar, the tower seems to be old and quite ordinary. If it was not for the ancient aura exuding from it and the knowledge he got from the memories, the people who pass by would likely just glance from it for a while and resumed their life as if they never saw the tower in the first place.

While scanning through his memories about the tower. He found out the tower was once said to be a place, where an empire used to own and cultivate. If he remember it vaguely, the place where the tower stood was once a ruins of a place owned by the empire. Stormcloaks.

However, for John it was not enough for him to take interest just because of some legends and tales, he only came here for he was only following what his instinct said so.

Oddly, John found himself infront of a door of a tower without even knowing why, all he knew that he was awake when he started walking, then suddenly a streak of light came out of nowhere and lost his control over his body.

"Luckily I didn't have to go through that exhausting travel."

"I don't even have an equipment for mountain climbing!"

Looking at behind, John found nothing but a wall filled with intrinsic carving and energies running through from it. Even with the knowledge he had now he had no clue what its used for.

Facing the door, John looked at it for some time before pushing it. He remembered something in his memories which somehow resemble of the memories of the door from what he is looking at.

"Why does the center of the door have a claw inserting on it?"

"Hmm a bird, a bear, a butterfly, a snake?"

Brushing off his thoughts, he felt that the priority he should be focusing now are the current problem, and why his memory seems to contain a lot of memories that he does not own.

Looking at the door, the animals carved in the door seems to tell a puzzle, and while the claw which got inserted seems to be the key?

With the key, all he need was to move the animals to its right place. But as he started to rotate the mechanic, the door seemed to be budging a little as if it was open all the time.

"What! It was open all along?"

Answering his thoughts, he open the door and to his suprise it opened.
