Back at the classroom, Bill had already began his rule. Rounding up the students that were cowardly and weak, they've managed to kill a decent amount of monsters. Fully equipped with gear looted from goblins and ratman, Bill sat on a makeshift throne of chairs and tables with a large sword in his hand. In the other corner of the room, a student was doing his best to keep the wounded alive. With sweat running down his pale face, Asher's hands were glowing brightly. Under the effects of Asher's skill, the wounds on the students' closed at a visible speed.
"Asher, it's okay to let those weaklings die," Bill taunted from his throne. Asher, being the virtuous guy he was, could not turn a blind eye to the suffering. "It was you who caused their bleeding, they almost sacrificed their lives for your twisted beliefs," Asher shouted while paying attention to his patients. With his ego inflated, Bill couldn't tolerate any criticism. Slamming his knee into Asher's stomach, he left a shoe print on Asher's face. "Know your place, without me all of you would have been dead," Bill said, spitting on Asher's bloody face. Groveling on the floor, thoughts of escaping clouded Asher's mind.
Meanwhile, Jay and Louis were walking down the hallway as they heard sounds of a distant battle. Hearing the shouts and cries of distress from other students, the duo quickly pinpointed the fight. There were two groups engaged in a deadly match, a small gang of green critters were terrorizing three students. Clothes tattered and blood seeping from their wounds, the group of students were not far from death. The small monsters weren't faring any better judging from their battered and bruised appearance. One of the monsters leaped fowards, ripping off a decent amount of flesh. The student screamed, blood spilling out from the wound. Activating his skill, Jay tried to get a rough idea of what they were dealing with.
[Goblins, Commoner graded monsters, are little walking disasters, often causing mischief anywhere they go. Can reproduce quickly with any humanoid females, resulting in large amounts of goblins spawning in a short period of time.]
"Commoner graded beasts, that means that they should be on par with the ratman we encountered earlier,"Jay thought, preparing to join the fight. Trying to replicate the time where he successfully connected his mind with the ratman, he extended his psyche towards the group of goblins.
Successfully establishing a connection with the goblins, Jay quickly shouted, "Now!" Startled by the weird sensation in their head, the goblins were stunned for a brief second. Taking this opportunity, one of the students who was a fire mage charged up a powerful attack. With a large fireball thrown at the goblins, the large explosion instantly charred their skin. Skin blistering and burnt, the goblins scrambled away in fear. Streams of fire shot out from the student's palm, incinerating the frightened goblins. With the goblins dead, Jay felt his power surge, his strength increasing slightly. "We power up by killing other beings? If this also worked with killing humans..." Jay quickly discarded the idea, afraid of what the truth may be. Turning into ashes, five shiny blue cores were the only things left of the goblins. Picking up one of the cores, Jay examined it with his skill.
[ Commoner graded mana core, a crystal that contains a small amount of mana. Can be used to create artifacts or used to restore mana.]
Keeping one of the cores for himself, Jay tossed the rest to the students. "What's this?" the fire mage asked, inspecting the blue pebble-sized crystal. "Mana core, seems to be quite useful," Jay replied, why replenishing his mana used to create the cursed feather earlier. He could feel his mana reserves being recharged much faster, the mana coursing through his body was refreshing.
Being a fire mage, the student could feel Jay's mana fluctuate while the mana core dwindled down. Holding the mana cores in his palm, he started to laugh maniacally. "With this, I'll have infinite power!" he exclaimed, flames bursting out of his body. Louis pulled Jay back, as they instantly decided to distance themselves from the mage that was clearly insane. "You know, he seems to remind me of someone," Jay said, recalling a certain classmate of his that was also arrogant and noisy. "We better leave before he decides to do something dumb," Louis said, the two quickly heading down the hall.

"I decided to grant you two a opportunity to become my servant," the fire mage said, as he stormed down the hall with the other students following close behind. Louis was perplexed, refusing to believe that people like this actually existed. Jay on the other hand, laughed as if he heard some hilarious joke. "Will you be also paying us minimum wage?" Jay asked. "Without me, you two won't last to see another day," the fire mage said. Jay and Louis ignored him, time was a luxury in this world. "How dare you," the fire mage shouted, clearly irritated. The temperature soared as a massive fire ball formed in front of him, preparing to incinerate the two who dare look down on him. "I would not do that if I was you," Jay said lazily. A black streak shot out from his palm, a ominous feather levitated in front of the fire mage's eyes. Although the fire mage had no idea what the feather was, just by simply feeling the energy radiating from it was enough for him to surrender. The fireball vanished, the fire mage quickly left with the other students following behind him. "Remember the name Turner Fritz, you both will regret not becoming my servants," the fire mage's voice could be heard echoing through the halls.
"What was that guy's problem? I bet this Corner Fridge will die to some powerful monster," Jay said moments later after the incident. "His name was Turner Fritz, it literally had only been five minutes," Louis said, facepalming. "Fritz... I swear I heard this last name before," Jay said, trying to recall where he heard of such an unique last name. But with his bad memory, he quickly gave up.
Meanwhile the ragged and distressed gang of Turner were retreating towards the First grade department, they probably would've fainted if they heard Jay's words. They ran into another group of students, which just so coincidently had to be Asher's small group of escapees. Seeing the heavily wounded member of Turner's group, Asher quickly went to work. His palms brimming with mana, color restored from the student's pale face. While Asher was healing the wounded, Turner had a small chat with the other students with a fake smile plastered on his face. "We managed to sneak away from under Bill's rule, we need to seek help from the teachers," one of the escapees said, trembling as he recalled Bill's tyrannical rule. "Bill? He is still alive?" Turner asked, with surprise written all over his face. "With a whole army of students, it's unlikely anything would happen to him," the escapee replied, clenching his teeth in anger.
"Is he alright?" Turner asked, standing next to Asher. "After some rest he will definitely be fine," Asher replied, wiping the sweat of his forehead. "Well that is certainly nice to hear," Turner said. Just as Asher stood up, Turner suddenly punched him right in the face. Barely keeping his consciousness, blood seeped out from his mouth, trickling down onto the ground. "Why?" Asher asked in disbelief. The other escapees were in shock, frozen right in place. "As for you guys, better follow me if you want to survive," Turner said. With a fireball appearing in his palm, it acted as both a threat and as proof of his power. The trip back to Bill's "throne room" was without any obstacles, since the path was already cleared by Jay and Louis.
Carrying Asher on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, Turner barged into the classroom. "Found him sneaking away," Turner said, tossing Asher on the ground with a big thump. Sliding off his throne, Bill lifted Asher up by grabbing his collar. Grunting Asher squirmed, trying to escape Bill's grasp. "I was wondering where you lead my dear soldiers to, my little nurse," Bill said with a grin. "Cut out the dramatics, I want two people dead," Turner said, interrupting Bill's little torture session. Raising an eyebrow, Bill was quite surprised. He could sense Turner's excessive mana radiating off his body, he could easily beat most of the students. Intrigued, Bill asked with a devious grin, "Give me the names, I'll dispose of them." "They came from this building, a crafty kid with glasses and a good-looking tall boy, they seem to be heading towards the cafeteria, " Turner replied, since he had no idea of their names. "What a pleasant surprise, I also have been wanting to take care of them," Bill said.
Walking towards the auditorium, Jay suddenly stopped. "What's wrong?" Louis asked, confused since he didn't detect anything out of the ordinary. "Fritz! I finally remembered where I heard that name! Bill Fritz, that was also his last name!" Jay exclaimed, ecstatic since he finally got rid of the uncomfortable feeling. Louis sighed while shaking his head, how could someone act like this with unknown beings lurking around?
