Sly Fox.
It is extremely import that you hide those canisters before we transport them to Port Deimos. I would recommend finding a house to squat in with them for the time being, I’ve seen one north of the settlement.

The day hasn’t even started yet, but very interesting things have come to light, those damn Michsukus.
I got up at 230 and started my walk around with my red flashlight. Alpha-One uses a carbon-based biometric fuel easily obtained from trees and other foliage, so she is always wet. I don’t like that terminology but it’s what a full plane has been called for thousands of years I can’t do anything about it. Basically, I carry a small device which when attached to felled tree turns its composite material into fuel by compressing and adding heat. Its only used for vehicles though cause it’s not very efficient, A gram of Element 430 can be a power source for years if used in the refined generators they have in the inner bubble.
I didn’t notice anything off about Alpha One except some superficial damage from my sketchy approach, which I ignored. I ran through my start up checklist and taxied out to depart from runway zero-two. The down slope would help build speed, that’s why I’m using the other end of the runway.
“Niran airport, Niran, Delpha. Automated Weather Observation four-four-two-four-five local time. Winds, calm. Visibility, one-zero. Sky conditions, Clear. Temperature, two hundred and eighty-eight kelvin. Dew point, two hundred and seventy-six kelvin. Altimeter, two-nine-eight-zero. Remarks, sea le- Click.”
Having to listen to the weather every time you take off is a pain, but the altimeter is important, I just wish they would automate all of this. Once I got to the start of the runway I did a quick run of my pre-flight checklist. “Left aileron up, right up, elevator down, up, engine green.” “Niran traffic, Alpha One departing runway two.” Once I had finished with my checklist I drove onto the runway and moved power to full. Takeoff was uneventful. I completed my checklists as I ascended and was suddenly left with nothing to do but follow the lovely line and numbers my GPS had on screen. The damn thing didn’t even have autopilot.

Unpo was in sight, I had turned all my lights off and was flying low and slow. Its dangerous in the dark but getting picked up on radar would be the death of me. Approaching my field, I turned my landing lights on and flew north to face away from the settlement. The field looked desolate. It was just the brown dirt that littered the planet, and some roots. I did three passes of my landing spot before deciding it was ok.
“Mains down, flaps out, elevator full back” I told myself as I landed in the soft field configuration, bringing the plane to a halt on the north side of the field. I taxied back to the south slowly and faced north again in case I would be making a quick exit.
“Mission start, time 401.” Everyone will be asleep, if this were earth it would be two in the morning, I hope I didn’t wake anyone up. I made my way through the dense foliage, covered in all sorts of alien bugs. From what I understand none of these are particularly deadly, but its good to be safe. It was very cold this morning so I had put on a very protective assortment of clothes, which made a lot of sound but with my pants tucked into my boots and my long sleeve shirt tucked into my pants will protect me from the elements. It took awhile to find the settlement.
The first settlement building I came across was very run down. It looked like a house. Desperately needing a uniform to disguise myself in I decided to enter through the window.
The house was a one room thatched roof bungalow. It was obviously abandoned; however, someone has been frequenting it. It looked like it was being used for storage of weird items, looking around several things caught my eye. There was a plasma pistol on top of a barrel. A Heilsman 10.
The Heilsman 10 is a plasma pistol which shoots super-heated high-pressure plasma as far and fast as old timey guns. It takes a 10mm casing of discharge plasma. The barrel is comprised of a magnetic compound which compresses and accelerates a plasma-ferro fluid solution to incredible speeds and densities once the trigger is pulled.
Second thing I found was a heat-resistant coat. It even had the Michsuku label on it. “Perfect” I told no one in particular. I took the coat and put the pistol into the coats pockets along with some boxes of ammo. Then I saw it.
Three barrels of Element-430. They were locked away in a cooling storage bin, and they were obviously from Niran. “How the fuc-” I started “Hey did you hear that?” the voice came from outside the building, I’m hiding behind some crates.
