"...Okay, so you're telling me that was a near-death experience?"
Rocky Bergamo woke up at a hospital surrounded by his family, friends and his girlfriend Celine. The last thing he remembered was getting shot right on the chest by Sarada's driver boyfriend as he protected Celine, yet they both survived.
"Yes and no.", the doctor chuckled as she shifted her glasses up. "The bullets... went in just a few centimeters away from your blood vessels. If they were in the right spot, you'd surely be dead before you got here.
"Oh. Cool.", Rocky patted his chest. "...I shouldn't be touching my chest, huh?"
"We won't recommend it. You'll be staying here for a while, but don't worry."
Rocky's boss Harry approached him. He was a tall black man, and although he's old, he was still quite imposing.
"You gave us quite a scare there, kid. This ain't a normal situation, but thank the gods that your insurance got you covered."
"Really? Thanks, boss.", Rocky sighed as Celine sat beside him and brushed his hair. "Where did the three fools go though?"
"They ran after they shot you.", explained Celine. "Actually, that Rei girl didn't want to run because she wants to 'get rid of the old hag', but the driver turned into a big wuss because he didn't expect that he would hit you right on the spot."
Rocky looked down and took a sigh of relief, feeling Celine bearing down on his head and planting a kiss on him.
"Yo, Rocks, how'd it feel getting shot?", O.B. asked.
"Kinda like having big-ass needles going through you.", Rocky shared. "Unlike needles though, they hurt like a bitch." The sound of laughter then filled the room.
"We'd suggest you stay in bed for a few days, but if you want to move around, make sure someone's with you to help you out."
"Alright."
"And... miss Cho, I'd like to speak with you in private, if it's okay.", the doctor added.
"Oh... okay.", Celine replied. She followed the doctor out of the room while Rocky sat up to eat.
Celine and the doctor walked for a good while, and when they were nowhere near Rocky's ward, the doctor turned around to face Celine.
"...Do you have any idea what you've done?"
Her gaze was filled with disappointment as her eyes locked with Celine's. Her eyebrows were furrowed, and a frown also formed on her lips - a far cry from the look of a caring doctor.
"What I've done is none of your business.", Celine answered back.
"We agreed that the tests will be put on the plumber who's been stalking you, not this... little fatso who looks like he had sex for the first time in his life yesterday!"
Celine tried to laugh at the jibe, but it was her beloved who was being insulted.
"Hey, that little fatso's the one I love, so you better watch it, doctor Bae."
"And what about those three civilians who attacked you? What did you do to them?", Doctor Bae asked. Celine then brought out a heart-shaped locket that glowed a pink light. The locket flickered violently as Bae looked at it. "...What the hell did you do, Celine?"
"Oh, nothing, really.", Celine giggled and grasped the locket close to her chest. "I just showed my love to them. I let that small girl away though, so she can live with the fact that she allowed her sister and her boyfriend to die."
FUCK YOU! GET US OUT OF HERE, YOU BITCH! YOU OLD HAG! WHAT YOU DID IS DISGUSTING! LET US OUT OF HERE!
"Dear God, Celine.", Doctor Bae sighed. "If word comes out that you sealed these sinners permanently inside a locket, let one go free and put that curse on your partner instead of the sinner you were assigned to, we are both in trouble. As your superior, I expect you to follow my instructions next time, if there is even going to be one!"
"Ohh, don't be so sure.", Celine sighed. "There will be a next time."
Fixing her glasses, Bae sighed and tidied up. "...And there is always a consequence to everything."
Bae looked at Celine as she left, the latter heading for a toilet room shortly after. Looking down at the ceramic bowl fixed onto the floor, she brought out the locket again and smiled.
"Omo omoooo. How is it inside there?", she whispered as the locket shook and pulsed violently, making her laugh. "Oh my, such resistance. You guys are so rambunctious."
FUCK YOU, YOU BINGSU-LOVING OLD HAG!
LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT!
Celine whispered, "Didn't you hear me earlier? You can never get out of this locket once you're sealed in. Thanks to you, thanks to you, my oppa was bruised from intense hatred... but good thing I was there to keep him from losing himself."
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T GET OUT OF THIS THING?!
"Ahahaha...!", Celine just giggled. "It means... DON'T FUCK WITH THE UNVERGANG, BITCH!"
THE UNVERGANG?! WHAT THE HELL IS THE UNVERGANG?!
Celine then looked at the toilet in front of her.
"I'LL JUST FLUSH THE PROBLEM DOWN THE TOILET!", Celine grinned as the locket flailed in the air by itself.
OI!!! YAMERO!!!
SAKLOLO! HELP!
YOU'RE JUST FUCKING WITH US, RIGHT?!
She just devolved into a maniacal laughter as the screams turned into sobs and cries for mercy.
"I'M DOING THIS ON PURPOSE!", she answered before dropping the locket onto the toilet, making it glow in the same pink light before kicking the flush. The fading screams of Rei and the driver brought a sense of elation to Celine, who hit the door of her cubicle with her back while sighing in relief. "OMO, THAT FELT GOOD...." Her door creaked open, where a puzzled janitress was just looking at her. "...I had a really nice poop."
Celine hurried back to her beloved, who was still being fed by his sister Marian.
"Oh. Hey, Cel.", Marian greeted her. "What did the doctor tell you?"
"Nothing. Just about the discharge papers a few days from now.", she replied. Marian scooped up some porridge that fell down Rocky's lips, making Celine giggle.
"The porridge is kinda bland.", Rocky muttered.
"It's porridge, you idiot. What did you expect? Creamy tomato soup?", Marian huffed.
"Ooh, tomato soup~.", Rocky drooled. Celine approached him and sat beside her beloved.
"I can bring you tomato soup tomorrow, oppa. Do you want that? Y'know, to add to the hospital food?", Celine offered.
"Aye.", Rocky nodded. "That sounds wonderful."
"I'll also cook you some grilled mackerel with shredded ginger and carrots.", Mami added.
"Cool.", Rocky pumped his fists up.
"But no soda. You can't drink soda if you have stitches."

"Aww."
"We also brought your We-blet. We figured you'll get bored just laying down.", Jose said, bringing out a handheld digital tablet for Rocky.
"Sweet."
"Uhm, Rocky?", Judy interrupted. "...Do you think the Web Helpers have something to do with... y'know? This thing that happened to you?"
The room went silent as the mere mention of Rocky's former company grabbed everyone's attention. The silence was deafening, the shy coos of Rocky's niece being the only sound they could hear.
"...I wouldn't be surprised if they're involved.", Rocky replied. "Sarada's one of Pastor's lackeys. That fat-ass bitch named Boots stalks me a lot and could be the one who tracked me and Celine, but she was too much of a pussy to get close to the action." O.B. and Harry laughed at his roast.
"Oh yeah, you haven't heard yet, huh?", Harry remembered. Rocky tilted his head in wonder. "A number of our people from Mad Wearz and hundreds of other people who came from Web Helpers got together and filed a class action lawsuit against them, and guess who they specifically named in the lawsuit?"
Rocky and Celine leaned closer to their boss.
"Iza. Salamanca. Pastor.", Harry revealed. This brought a smile to Rocky's face.
"Nice~."
"Actually, Uri and I pitched in for the lawsuit, too.", Marian added. "Right now, the evidence against WH is so great, it reached the networks. 0% chance of damage control."
"No shit.", Rocky laughed. "Oh, man. I can't have beer right now, huh?"
"Not while you're recovering, figlio.", Mami said, scolding him.
"Aww.", Rocky pouted. "...How about buying beer but drinking them when I'm better?"
"Alright.", Mami sighed.
"You gonna try the Danhausens, Rocks?", O.B. asked Rocky, who nodded in return. "Boss, he's gonna try the Danhausens!"
"Ohoho, Danhausen~.", Harry clapped. "Yeah, you got yourself one big drinking night once you're good to go, kid!"
Rocky looked around the ward. His family, his friends, all together. While it was because he was thought to have died, it was still a joyous event as they bonded over his survival. He then looked at Celine, who planted another kiss on top of his head right before they started cuddling.
"Welp... God did grant my wish this time.", he thought.
----------------------------------------
A few days and nights passed, and Rocky's family took turns looking after him. Harry granted Rocky a week of paid leave due to his situation, while Celine used her credits so she can still get paid despite not reporting to work, yet Celine felt uneasy.
Rocky was alive, yes, but she feels that his family knows something's wrong. Doctor Bae's words also echoed inside her head.
There is always a consequence to everything.
"Cel?"
Celine snapped back to her senses, finding Rocky just gazing at her. "Oh!"
"You okay?", Rocky said. Celine could feel his soft hand gripping and squeezing at her fingers lightly. "I'm the one who got shot but you're like the one who got PTSD from all this when it should be me."
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me!", she giggled.
"What really happened to Sarada, anyway? Did she get nabbed?", Rocky asked her.
"Hard to say.", Celine sighed as she sat beside Rocky. "All I remember is she ran away after she saw you get shot. Her sister though was a freak and insisted on taking me out too, but their driver became a wussy until some of the guards had them at gunpoint. I don't know where they are now after that, but all I can say is that their issue with you has been flushed down the toilet."
"Cool.", Rocky smiled. "I was hoping to get them myself, but hard to do that when you have like four, five 9 millimeter bullets in your chest." Celine giggled again and playfully shoved her hand on his face.
"...I seriously thought I was going to lose you. I've had my eye on you for a long time, and I didn't want to let that go to waste.", Celine pouted, rubbing her face against his arm.
"Hey... I'm still alive, am I?", Rocky told her, giving her thighs a light rub. "I'm still here."
"Yeah....", Celine sighed.
Rocky is still alive. That's what mattered to her....
"Finally, we're getting Rocky out!", Judy squealed in joy.
O.B. rubbed his head in relief. "Yeah, we need him really soon. We're not in deep yet but he can take the load off us once we get him back. Can you call Cel?"
"I am now.", Judy said. She flipped a cube-like device on her hand which showed a hologram of Celine and her contact details. "Hey, Cel!" Celine's upper body then showed on the hologram, waving at her.
"Hi, Judy! Where are you?"
"I'm on my way up with O.B. Are you packed?"
"Yeah, just waiting on the nurse to take the IV out."
"Alright, just checking! We'll be there soon!"
"Cool.", Celine smiled just as Judy hung up. "Judy and Obi are on their way up."
"Alright.", Marian said as she finished packing their belongings.
"I'm just so excited to get oppa out of here.", Celine squealed, making Marian laugh.
"Oi oi oi, don't strain my brother. He still has stitches so you have to get on top of him for now.", she told Celine. Her smiley expression then shifted to a flushed face, making Marian laugh even more. "You're so cute. No wonder Barachiel loves you."
A nurse then entered the ward. She was clad in the usual white garments, complete with a face mask to conceal their identity.
"Good morning, mister Bergamo.", the attending nurse said. "I'm here to get some of your blood as part of protocol."
"Blood extraction?", Marian wondered. "He's already cleared for discharge, why would he still need--"
"Shut up."
The nurse drew a gun from her uniform and aimed it right in Marian's face. This alarmed both her and Celine, as this was certainly not something a real nurse would do.
"Ohh, how the hospital staff is so stupid. I just dressed like this and they let me in!", the nurse laughed. Marian recognized her voice just as Rocky woke up.
"Rocky!", Marian hushed. Rocky squinted his eyes as he looked at the gun being pointed at his sister.
"Uhh... what's going on?", Rocky wondered. The nurse then took off her face mask, revealing a chubby, pouty-lipped smirk.
"Hello, Rocky."
"Boots?", Rocky said. "What the fuck? The fuck are you doing here?"
"I heard from Sarada. You survived. What's worse is her sister and her boyfriend are missing because of you!", Boots wailed.
"Why are you blaming me for that? They almost fucking killed me, for fuck's sake!", Rocky countered.
"Then why aren't you noticing me anymore?!", Boots asked Rocky. "I did everything for you!"
"Uh, no, you didn't.", Rocky rebutted. "You never did anything for me. All you did was be a snitch to the others and to me. You think I didn't notice how you were so clingy to me even though I told you that I'm not interested in you? Grow up. All you did was try to get me in trouble. I told you that you need your badge to get inside production and you should not leave it at MY station because if you forget that it's at my station and you go out to fuck yourself with a fire extinguisher, you will fucking blame me and tell everyone I took your badge when the fact is I never asked for your badge and I already warned you a million times beforehand that you should keep it in your person at all times."
Rocky had been keeping it in for a while.
Boots is a snitch. She was the reason why Rocky's star pupils quit too early.
"So... what do you mean?", Boots, heartbroken, asked her former mentor.
"That means I don't like you, I never liked you, and I never will like you even if you are the last woman in Outer Heaven."
Lightning struck Boots. Her mouth gaped open, nose crinkled, a cold sweat running down every pore.
"...Fine!", Boots said, her voice cracking. "If I can't have you... then NO ONE WILL!"
A loud bang emanated throughout the ward. It was all too sudden, just like before when Sarada ran them over, but this time....
"OH MY GOD! CELINE!"
Blood splashed all over the floor and the vacant white bed beside Rocky. A steaming-hot bullet case rattled onto the tiles and rolled across the room. On the floor was Celine, her eye torn open from being shot at point-blank range.
"PEANUT!", Rocky cried. Boots held Marian at gunpoint as well, threatening her and Rocky.
"Don't you move! Move or your sister gets it, too!", Boots, bewildered, said.
"Yan!", Rocky cried out. Marian shook her head at her brother, telling him not to mind her.
"You're the one she wants, Rock!", Marian whispered. "No one else needs to get hurt."
"But...."
"If you don't come with me, I will shoot your sister right here!", Boots threatened, her eyes wide open from insanity.
"Rocky, just give her what she wants!"
Boots just killed Celine right in front of Rocky. She shot his beloved without any hesitation.
Why must I entertain the snitch?, he thought....
"...Yan... you know I'd choose to die than go with her.", Rocky whispered. His sister smiled back as tears fell from her eyes.
"Yeah... I know.", Marian tried to laugh.
"And Boots.", Rocky added. "...What kind of idiot only has one bullet in their gun?"
Boots looked down. Her pistol was cocked back, and this meant she had no ammunition left. She looked back to Rocky, who just sat in disbelief as Marian pushed the snitch off her.
"...You shot my girlfriend.", Rocky whispered. He could feel Boots trying to come closer to him, making him stick his hand out to keep her away. "Stay away from me. You... fucking killed her...!"
"Coach, I'm so sorry.", Boots tried to plead with him, but any hint of remorse was absent in her voice. "I didn't mean to."
Boots was aiming to kill Rocky, but instead killed Celine. She was lovesick for Rocky, but the wrong person paid the price. Now, Rocky is all alone once again...
...but remember, my dearies.
There is always a consequence to everything.
"Aishh....."
Boots looked to her right. Her crazed eyes bulged in horror as she took a step back, dropping her empty gun. Her mouth agape, she tried to scream, but nothing came out of her throat as if she lost her voice at that moment. Rocky and Marian were also shocked, but unlike Boots, they remained in their places. A bloody hand then reached over to Boots' face, smearing her nose and lips with a crimson mask, before forming into a hush.
"You are... a fat, annoying bitch, aren't you?"
It was Celine, fully alive despite having her eye blown off. Before Boots could even react, Celine threw her across the room until she hit a wall.
"P...P-P-P-Please...!", Boots, dazed, pleaded with Celine. She cried in terror as she watched Celine's wound heal itself rapidly until her face became normal as if nothing happened.
"Please? Please what?", Celine wondered, grabbing Boots by her neck and grinding her up against the wall.
"Please don't kill me!"
Such a pointless plea for mercy. Boots shot first.
"Ohh... kill you? Nonono.", Celine whispered. "I'm not going to kill you."
"Oh...! Thank you...! Thank--"
"I'm just going to hurt you... really... really... bad."
Celine moved just as swift as Boots' shot, if not a lot faster. Rather than a gun, she tore at Boots' throat, spraying blood all over her. The snitch slowly grew pale from blood loss and soon collapsed to the floor, life quickly leaving her eyes.
"Hurts, huh?", Celine giggled. She ignored the fact that she just killed Boots, instead mocking her for dying too quickly. "...Aish, another weak one. Fine, I won't hurt you really bad next time."
"Rocky...!", Marian whispered.
"I... I know....", Rocky muttered back. Celine looked at them, donning a crimson face mask made from Boots' own blood. "Celine...?"
Celine gave him a wicked smile, her tears also flowing. Rocky though was just dumbfounded. Just what is going on?, he thought.
"...Yeah, oppa?"
