The Age of Steam has arrived at the continent of Kyther, bringing forth massive changes in its economy, the lives of its people and, most importantly, the conduct of war.  Lord Alec Handler has been living a peaceful life in the small village of Verrigo in the Duchy of Lorraine that has been awarded to him after the Wyrm Hunt. However, trouble begins to rear its head once more as war looms over the land once more - one bigger than what he faced before, and one that would challenge the very survival of Lorraine itself.  As the gears of war turn, will Alec be able to defend the world he lives in, or will Lorraine fall to the marching of time?
