A shivering breeze swept Mary's hair, bringing the rain on her face.
...
Mark's fist, clenched with his veins bulging out of his wrist, reached the face of the girl in front of him.
> “Never show your face in front of me ever again!”
Mark hid in his room, fisting his hair as he dropped down to the floor.
The girl, her eyes swollen, dropped to her knees near the apartment railings as the wind brought down chilling rain on her.

The footsteps of Mary were numbed down by the pour of the cold winter rain as she walked up her apartment. The sight of a girl crying in front of her neighbor's door sent her heart into cycles.
> “Jane...?” Mary stumbled
She forced herself to forget it, her eyes not making contact with the body of the girl slumped in front of her.
Jane slowly got up, her face was covered with the black makeup she always wore.
Her steps silenced the rain in Mary's perspective. She doesn't want to look at the sight of her, yet her eyes squinted as her heart clenched to itself.
...
> “Ah... Ah... Faster, John...” She moaned, her hands grappling his young skin.
As the time quickly passed, she slumped over on top of John.
> “Don't worry, Mark won't know a thing.
...
Mary twisted the cold knob of her door. Covered with a scarf and jacket, she stepped outside and opened her umbrella.
...
Mark held his phone tightly, he scrolled far and wide in Amazon's beauty products category. The cart was filled with 6 items.
> “I'm sure she'd loved these.”
...
The room was filled with nothing but the dark and cold absence of the light and warmth as a pair of legs swayed above.
