Arc 2 Chapter 4.5

“Y’know, you were this close to almost being discovered by everyone in this ship.”

“Aww, sister—”

“Don’t ‘sister’ me! We’re not blood related, remember?”

Orgla exclaimed at the woman in the luxurious purple dress. This was the woman that young boy mentioned. Cassadora. She had previously said that she’ll send her crewmembers to have a search party to search for her in this ship for the boy. In truth, she has no intention of doing that.

“And besides, why are you here anyways? I’ve done you and your boss a favor.”

“I’ve come to check on you and the cargo to make sure you deliver it so you don’t get in trouble by the big boy in the north. Besides, we haven’t talked in a long time.”

“Pah! I’m only doing this for the money. I ain’t interested in you.”

“Aww, that’s sad. You’re gonna make me cry.”

She covered her eyes and started her crocodile tears schick. Both Orgla and Cassadora had known each other for a very long time, so her fake crying isn’t gonna work for her. Instead of playing along, she just groaned and decided to change the topic.

“Anyways, I’ve heard you and the boy met. What do you see in him?”

“Oh! Hmm… He has a very special aura in him. It was very interesting, enticing, and…intoxicating.”

“Please don’t say that in front of me.”

“Why? Do you want a piece?”

“Hell no! I ain’t interested in kids!”

Orgla exclaimed as she crossed her arms in front of her, making a figure X.

“Hmhm. Don’t worry. His body isn't what I’m interested in. It’s his inside.”

“Still no!”

Orgla exclaimed as she still crossed her arms in front of her, still making a figure X.

“And besides, what sick trick do you even have for the boy?”

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

“Nothing, really. I want to see how his spirit and aura grow. But for now, it ain’t ripe just yet.”

“Ain’t ripe yet?”

“His soul is weak and far too young, yet I see something that isn’t from this world.”

“Like…?”

“Hmhm, that’s a secret!”

“Oh c’mon!”

Teased by this, Cassadora playfully laughs and gives an angry expression to a point where she shows her sharp fangs. She has been allies with her for a long time, so this was normal for her. But still, she couldn’t believe that she was teased.

Orgla lowly growled as she sat and leaned her chair back.

“Fine, keep your secrets. It ain’t my business anyways.”

“Oh, that reminds me! There’s another employer that requires your business.”

“Oi, you ain’t the boss of me! I’m my own business, and I do it when I do it…unless they pay me. But tell me after I deliver these things.”

“Sigh. As always with you.”

She touched the temple of her forehead and smiled before being teleported into a dark lit room. The room was so dark that there were no windows to shed light from. There are, however, several brightly lit candles that were formed into a large circle.

She walked over them and sat in the middle of the circle with her legs crossed. As she sat on the floor, the flames turned from the usual orange to bright purple. The flames on the candles around her lit the room and her shadow expanded in front of her, forming a silhouette that is familiar to her, and to her only.

“Lord Zuvonzlos. A pleasure to talk to you.”

“Cassadora…”

Her shadow took the form of the man and emperor of the entire country of Zuvonzlos, Buorozumo Zuvonzlos. However, she isn’t talking to Buorozumo face to face. She is talking to him through the shadow by one of her magic called Shadow Communication, which allows her to communicate with anyone in the world via own shadow by taking the form of the person she is talking to.

The downside to this, however, is that you really don’t get to see what the person looked like, only their silhouette.

“What is it that you have summoned me, child?”

“I’ve come to tell you that I have found the anomaly, My Lord. A boy. However, I sense that his aura is too weak.”

“Then he just arrived, I assume?”

“Yes, My Lord.”

“I see…”

Cassadora couldn’t read Buorozumo's expression due to Shadow Communication, but by the sound of his cold deep voice, he was rather intrigued by what she had said.

“And where is this anomaly now?”

“He and his friends are traveling overseas to the city of Silovilo.”

“Silovilo…”

“Shall I intercept them?”

“There is no need. Let him be. It is far too early to have any use for him.”

“And when will it be, My Lord?”

Buorozumo’s glowing red eyes stared down at Cassadora, only for him to answer his question.

“He will only be useful when the time comes.”
