This marks the end of Book 2: Marble, and the beginning of Book 3: Core. I have to say, this last arc really got away with me. I didn’t expect it to take nearly this long to write, but here we finally are.
Once more, I want to thank everyone reading this very much. If you’re enjoying Ormyr, feel free to leave a follow/rating/review. As may be evident, I am a novice when it comes to writing, and am still experimenting with what works, and what doesn’t. As such, all comments, thoughts, and critiques are always welcome. Although I rarely respond, I do try to read them all, and incorporate feedback where and when I can.
So far, the scope of our Hero’s journey has been fairly limited; we’ve heard of snippets of various groups and powers throughout the world, but have yet to truly see them interact with one another, and with the characters we follow. This is all about to change.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Book 3 will see our good companions journey to Old Europe, the land of magic and marvels, and the Great Houses of the New European Assembly. Europe’s capital, Great Bern, is the center of the world (according, of course, to the locals), a nest of scheming and intrigue, and will test our heroes in ways they never have been before. As we delve into the heart of Post-Collapse civilization, its most powerful factions and its deepest, darkest secrets will be revealed.
There will likely be a two-or-so week break (maybe more, hard to say) before I begin posting Book 3, during which I plan to upload a list of all the known Titans and their bios, as well as a number of world and nation maps to help readers keep in mind who the powerful factions are, and where they’re located.
Thanks again for reading, and I hope you enjoy what’s to come!
