"Now, let us begin." The old man spoke
"As you know, the Demon King is a Continental-Class danger, the Demon King has regenerative powers, and it could summon demons at will." The old man continued.
"We have the Sealing Scroll available." One of the party spoke.
"Yes, but it is not enough, unless you could kill it within five minutes." The old man replied
"So, what other options are available to kill this guy?" Another adventurer asked, this time it's a woman, an orc woman. Her skin is green, and her eyes are sharp.
"You could seal it with Divine Chains, as it is an Evildark element, but it could only last up to 30 minutes, are you all sure you can do that within 30 minutes?"
"Sure, with our hero Dew's Godlaw powers, it will be easy." A hooded man spoke with a slight expression of insult
"Hey fucker, if you want to catch these hands, come and get it!" Dew replied at the hooded man with an angry expression
"I'm sorry, I'm a magician, I don't use hands." The hooded man replied in a mocking tone.
"Urgh..."
"Calm down, Dew." Aden told Dew about how important it is to have the right mentality in a battle, especially when you're about to slay a Demon King.
"Alright, I'll give it a shot." A Golden Elf Paladin with a hulking armor replied.
"But I can only use it once a day."
"It's okay, we'll go into hiding if we can't slay it in time." Dew replied to the Elf
"Sure, do all of you have any more questions?" Dew asked.
"Where is the Demon King now?" An elf girl asked, she wears a hoodie jacket with flowing patterns, giving off the feeling of mysteriousness.
"It's in its lair inside the Demon Grotto." The old man answered.
"Demon Grotto? Doesn't that mean it has the strategical advantage?" She asked again.
"We get it out from the grotto, but you need to cast a perfect illusion, that's why Mer Arc is here." Dew replied.
"Alright, I agree."
"Me too."
"Yeah, me too."
"Alright, we meet in front of the post next morning, prepare yourself for tonight. Stack up everything you need." The old man spoke.
"Alright, now... 'Castabae!'" The old man just teleported them out of the tower immediately, making them look very dumb sitting on the streets.
"What is with that old guy's nerves?" One of the parties complained.
"Shhh, he might hear you! He's the Archmagus of this post, Leylin Faraway! You know that all Archmagus could destroy mountains with ease, right?" Someone replied.
"If he could destroy mountains easily, why didn't he kill the Demon King himself?" He complained again.
"Because all Archmagus are fighting the Lost Lands' Demon Gods! They are fighting the ringleaders themselves! I know it because he said that he can't get here. That means only one, Slaying Gods!" He replied again.
Then they disperse. Buying everything they need to kill the Demon King. New information were given by the Archmagus, so they might need to change their gear a bit.
(Archmagus= 4th rank magus. not the highest, as follows. Apprentice-Adepts-Magus-Magusteer-Magusil-Archmagus-Archian Magus- Arc Magi- Maginart - Maginast_ Octmagus-Termagus-Magistar. And still more above it.)

Everyone gathered on top of the frontier wall. The scenery turned a complete 180 degrees, if the post could be called a wonderland, then the lost lands could be called hell. The scenery in front of them is depressing, full of death. Yet varieties of many hellscapes together have some sense of beautifulness inside of it.
The Firelands, where everything is on black fire.
The Voidgrounds, which is a hole that looked like it was drilled, an open-pit of sorts. That seemed to end in nothingness.
The Death Forest, where decaying trees are everywhere. The dead don't stay dead, and the living couldn't live.
The Singularity, where chaos ensured to be there.
The Behemoth Mountains, where the mountains are behemoths itselves.
The destination they're going is the Singularity, which is near to the voidgrounds. This area could be called the Chaoslands. It was said that once, Gods vent their frustration there, making the grounds on it mad in nature. Many freaks of nature were formed there, or deformed.
Of course, in order to get through the Voidgrounds, one needs to pass the Chaoslands itself.
"Let's go. " Dew started signaling everyone to follow his lead
They passed the mountains of Ram, where the gods once fought.
They fought a Demonic Abyss, an entity which itself is a place.
They went through the Madmads, where crazied fiends, madmen, and astrayed beings casted. It was suitable for them.
Then, they passed the border of the Chaoslands.
"Shit, a Guard." Someone signaled
"Abyss spider!" Some exclaimed.
Abyss Spider, a Dark Nightingale colored spider. The anatomy of theirs are similar to daddy long-legs of the earth, a creature of the past.
Before they make their moves, someone already did. Or something.
"Ayul. It's an Ayul! Let's go!" Dew pointed out what the enemy was
Ayul. A chaos being. They have distorted faces, their bodies seemed to made up by smaller bodies. Their faces faced 2 sides. Their anatomy was not of a humanoid, it was of an abomination instead. Their heights are 25 meters, could be taller if it's an adult.
The Ayul seemed to pause for a second before it rushed into the Abyss Spider once more.
The Ayul seemed to converse with the Abyss Spider, using an ancient language one may not know.
Of course, Aden knew what they were conversing
"Uyt, this is my last resort! I will take your body, and you will forever be mine!" The Ayul spoke
In response, Uyt, the Abyss Spider spoke
"I know our love is forbidden! Why are you like this! I don't want to merge with you!"
"No, You are lying, I know that you love me, you just can't face it, hehehe... You will truly be mine! Mine! Mine!"
"If it's like this, then I wished that I didn't meet you! Lot of you Chaotic madmen are truly mad! It seems like Abyss and Chaos can't really merge..."
Uyt spoke then started to roar, seemingly ready to face the mad Ayul.
Then, if it cannot be merged, why are there beings of chaotic abyss nature? Even though abyss represented calm, stillness, and Chaos represented well, chaos?
Because nothing, except one. Could be truly impossible.
'what the fuck was that?! A love affair! And a psychopathic one at that!' Aden thought
They finally ran away into the Voidgrounds, the outer section.
---
Voidgrounds. Outer Section.
The grotto is vast, its size is more than 2 behemoths stacked up tall(1behemoth tall is 100m) and it's layer of veils has what seems to be sharp teeths ready to strike the earths.
The Rondoes of Tays, groups of shamansingers, had said to have lived here.
Until the desolation came.
The groups had divided into two, those who stayed, and those who fled.
The ones who fled survived.
The ones who stayed, eventually became what known as Abyss Shaman.
Can't see, but can see.
Not with their eyes.
But with their souls.
Darkness blinded them of sins.
Yet shackles them of freedom
Can think, but thoughtless.
It is a passive being.
They don't retain human morals, but retained their consciousness.
They received powers of the dark.
Eventually enslaved by it.
Try speaking to them.
.
The beings that are Abyss Shaman doesn't live here anymore, they once lived here, until the Demon King came.
They eventually asked for help to the Borders. And here it is.
Chaotic energy, mixed with a hint of loneliness can be sensed within a hundred miles away.
Originally. for normal people, traveling from the border to the Voidgrounds took 90 days.
But they're all high leveled beings! Even Mach 1 is not truly impossible for them!
Thousands of miles is not that long of a journey! Even though they're in the lower-upper level strong.
(Note: this world only has Archian Magus at the top, higher level magi are not known in this world, there are other counterparts that rivaled Archian Magus, non mana-based ones)
(Lower-upper: lower of the upper class people, there will be more of this in the future.)
Standing near the Grotto, they sensed more and more of those feelings, the energies that are streaming out like rivers, all kinds of them could be seen.
There are but none here, but the King Itself
"Humans, there are none, but the King Itself." A voice sounded.
"Be careful, demons of ours supported you." A voice sounded again, this time it sounded like a woman
"Slay, slay, slay, slay, slay, avenge!" A voice sounded, it was of an old person.
More sounds appearing, turning the silenced lands into a festival. A festival of ghosts.
Soon, as they walked closer and closer into the Demon Grotto the sounds started to disappear, turning the festive into silence.
"Should we go in?" A female mage asked.
"No, it will come, this is unexpected." Dew replied.
"The spirits helped us luring them out, thank them when we go home," said a male shaman
Ripples of darkness started appearing one after another, shrieks of demons started appearing, and the tremors coming from the Grotto are nearing.
The party backed out of the Grotto not very far away, but not too close either.
The tremors haven't stop.
The ripples haven't stop.
And the shrieks haven't stopped either.
Then....
The Demon King appeared
