Chapter 1

…Huh? This rocking and bouncing motion feels quite nice and comfortable. It feels like I’ve been sleeping for a millennium. Anyway, Hmm… Ah! That’s right. I remembered that I jumped then I was in a very dark space all alone and-

"Haa...Haa..."

A sound? Is someone panting? It's getting progressively louder. Suddenly, my body rapidly came to a complete stop as I bounced back and forth with a weird sensation behind my back, forcing me to open my eyes that I thought I didn't have.

My eyes squint. Too bright. But slowly, it got dimmer and clearer until I was met with a girl's huge face from an angle below as the light from the sun reflected the sweat trails that were falling from her face while panting quite heavily.

Hm? Her clothes… Is she cosplaying? Her hat looks reminds me the kind that alchemists wear in fantasy worlds. Could it be…?

Wait a minute. I feel like I'm about to have a premonition... This viewing angle is indeed weird. I've never seen a person's face this huge before. I tried looking down, but my body felt stiff as a jellybean, but I tried again and caught a glimpse of my new reality.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Two tiny hands, a small body almost like one of a baby, and the fact that It's hard to move at all… There can only be one explanation.

I've been reborn!? Surprised, I accidentally shouted, expecting to hear my own voice, but a baby’s cry came out instead and alerted the girl carrying me.

“Huh? Uh… Did I wake you up?” the girl looked down at me, “Uhm… I’ll try to find someone and let them take care of you. So, can you stop crying for a bit? Please?” she said while forcing herself to make a strained smile.

WIth her face at full display to me, she had bluish-green straight hair and bangs that almost covered her eyes but because she was exhausted, her hair was a mess. She seemed to be around 16 or 17 years old of appearance.

Strangely enough, I became calm all of a sudden. This might just be a dream in the end, but the fact is, I’m alive right now. Oh no… I’m starting to recall those memories again…

Although, before I could do that, the girl conveniently sang a lullaby in a quiet voice. At that moment, time just seemed to slow down. Every sound and my surroundings became null and white except for this girl in front of me.

“Calm now? It seemed like you were having a bad dream.”

If this is merely a dream, you are cruel. To whoever or what sent me here...

Before I knew it, drowsiness hits me, and in the end, I was forced to end this short-lived dream of mine.
