Beastmen

Entering Vestan wasn't difficult but moving through the extremely busy crowd was. Unlike goblins, humans didn't seem to notice me. That was when I saw my first beastmen. He had a hood over his head and wore twin axes on his back. He looked like a wolf standing on two legs. He was talking to a dwarf who looked like a blacksmith. He suddenly stopped speaking to the blacksmith and started to sniff the air. His head turned towards me and our eyes met. He started to snarl and grab his axe handles from behind his back. The dwarven blacksmith looked confused so he ran. The once bustling crowd all too noticed the enraged beastmen and started to take cover behind alleyways and stands. The beastmen, not wanting to waste anymore time, decided to begin his attack with two heavy swings with his axes. Using air mana I send him flying through a building nearby with my breath. Because of how my mana function it created a smokescreen which also created more chaos. The beastmen not yet defeated came out the wreckage bloody and enraged. I was obviously at the advantage of being able to see in the dark. So when the beastmen came charging he noticed that this beastmen also could see in the dark as well. Finally frustrated I decided to end it with a mana packed lightning breath frying the beastmen charred. Not wanting to linger any longer, I made my way towards the exit on the other side before more non-humans noticed me. It seems this mage cloak only works on humans.
