Chapter 2: The City of Carnedian

The City of Carnedian, that's the place where I am being respawned or you can call it revive?. Well, in anyway I haven't learn anything about this world and place. The only thing I know is that it functions like a game. As you can see, I have my HP and MP, and my attributes including my skill. But I can't explain that all now. After I've got sucked from my computer. I encounter a kind and beautiful receptionist and a mysterious hoodie girl. And now where in a current pinch.

''Hey...What are we gonna do now?'' I asked as I whispered in her ear. ''Shush...Be quiet or they will notice that were hiding here.'' she replied. We're hiding in a small storage room. The room is incridibly dark and all I can see is a little hole in the filled with light passing on it. As this girl observe the outside of the door, finally the Knights that searching for her, leave.

''Ah..Thanks...they are gone''. I sigh out of relief. ''We can't be sure yet; they might still be around the City''. She said cautiously. As we wait, we did talk a little. I ask about her past and why she's being chased by the Knights. She also said that those who's chasing her is not really a Knight, they just call themselves like that. I realized a little from those information that this world functions similarly like in a fantasy world in the Anime I've watch. We wait until the sunlight fall down and a moonlight comes to next, a sky filled with stars. We leave the room and walk around carefully with cautious. I look above, and seen a sky filled with stars, they are truely beautiful that you can't explain.

We arrived at her own house. She let me in and she calmly cook the food.

''Here, Eat this so that you can have strength again.'' as she put a plate in the table.

''Thanks.....'' I did not say any word just that. I eat the food as soon as possible.

As I am eating, I been thinking since I've arrived at this world. I been thinking why I got sucked on my computer even though the people who played this did not. Well, looking back before it happens. Some of my classmates. Says that today the online game : Online Splendor World, will be shutting down.

''Ah...that's it...!" I yell. I forgot that she's there. She look at me confuse. I got embarrasSed so I made up a quick conversation.

''Ah...haha...I'm sorry, If I startled you, It's just that I've been thinking....on how you ended up living here?" A false but a pointing question. She pause and said ''It was 6 months ago" she said. I listened to it a true past flash back. She continued.

''....It was 6 months ago, It's my birthday, I'm going to turned into 16th that day. And that day was the day I have to get married to a neighborhood Kingdom.''

''Wait a kingdom?'' I interrupted. ''Ah..I'm sorry..Please continue''

''I'm the 3rd princess of this kingdom...And my father want me to get married to the prince that I don't even know the name...I when the day comes...I secretly took an escape from the castle...I jumped on a near river and ended up here in the farthest city of our kingdom.''

''So...you are a princess...?'' I did not react so surprise, it's only normal in the anime and I'm in a fantasy world.

''Yes...My name is Xena Astrid Clause." she replied. ''I am born as a princess and my life is already set even before I born...I even hope that I was born as a prince not a princess...You know the life of a princess is quiet hard than a prince.'' she continue.

''Well...yeah...the life of a princess is hard but I can't say the same about a prince life'' I'm not even a princess how would I know the life but so far I've watch in the Anime. I can't argue that life between prince and princess are not hard, they just both had it in a bad luck.

''Ahm...I haven't ask your name yet; who are you?'' She ask with a curiousity in her eyes and while holding my hand.

''Ahmm...can you...put your hand on my own'' I said mistaken due to her attractive face and she smells so nice. I got nervous. I take a deep breaths and calmly exhale and inhale. And say my name :

''I'm [R][O][G][U][E]''

''Why theres a 'Brackets' on your name'' she ask.

''It's just...like a design.'' I wonder though, why though?

And so on our conversation continue and till we finished. I go outside to have alone time for myself and thoughts about this world. There's many question I even haven't answered yet and yet many questions keep popping-up.

'How can I even survive here, if my intuition is correct then if I lose my HP bar then I'm finish. And it looks like the same on Xena. She had an HP too. So if she get killed then she die. So which means I have to level up and gather information in this world in order to live.'

The morning comes, I leave right after she got wake up. And go on the Adventurer's Guild: Eden. I registered our names on the form. So now I am a Novice adventurer. And in order to get my level set higher I need to defeat a monster. My first quest is to defeat :

Health : 1000

Mana : 0

Damage : 500

Level : 5

Skill : Spit

[Skill Spit] - Increases the tongue of the frog and produces sticky substances.

I register our name by the girl receptionist girl. She's also our receptionist and the one that manages our quest and the one that gives us a reward. Her name is Lyn Zadie.

And so I went back to the house of Xena and told her about the Guild and that I register her name on it. I'm lucky enough that I manage to register her name on it.

''Really...you register our names on the Adventurer's guild.'' Xena

''Yes, and our first quest is to defeat a Three Giant Frogs'' I said it with a smile in my face.

And so on we go on the location where the Giant Frogs lived.
