Floor 1: Forest of Beginnings
Threat Level: H
'God these pieces of armor are trash.' My eyes run down the common tier gear. 'Even for common tier.. Better than nothing though, and my academic clothes doesn't offer much better to have a second layer.' Stripping the gear off the slaver to the disbelieving eyes of the young woman.

Checking if the boots will fit, lining it up with the bottom of mine. Should last me a little while. Luckily the slaver I killed was roughly the same build as me, a little shorter and smaller, but the gear fits snuggly. Testing out my range of movement and not finding too much of an issue, I pick up the dagger and sword from the ground, since everything is calm I appraise the dagger. As I toss my shoes into a random bush. 'May the energy from them help something..'. Thoughts devolving onto the Tower and energy for a moment, and how it recycles anything left around into energy equivalent or absorbing it for what purpose not many know. Some have speculated the Tower's are sentient using that energy or items for Loot. But that's another topic altogether. Corpses for example that don't have anything on them disappear almost instantly like the goblin from earlier, while others stay for a bit allowing the harvest of materials or items from the corpse. Everything in the end gets recycled just a matter of time.

'Oh nice piece of metal.' touching the daggers edge with a finger slightly not enough to cut skin but feel the edge, alternating to the sword, I look up at the woman. "So... what's your name?" she stares at me for a moment, as I flip the dagger in my hand, catching it by the blade, holding it out to her. Cautiously she takes a step forward, "Myra. You?" grabbing the handle of the dagger I let it go as she quickly takes a step back. "Nihr, just got to the Tower. Same as you from what I can tell." She eyes me up and down, "You barely look like a student. But your fighting was experienced. Old Family?" Shaking my head in reply. As start to lapse into silence with her on edge still, I test my range of movement a couple times more. "Off to take care of the other one, be careful on your Climb." turning around and walking in the opposite direction of her. "I- wha- WAIT!" she yells after me, she doesn't make a move to follow though, "Thank you!" she finally shouts out as I disappear in the direction of the Slaver she injured before escaping. The breeze of the forest cuts around me rustling everything and after a couple minutes of walking I come across a man leaning up against a tree. His eye's following my every move, "Wearing that piece of shits gear means you looted him and they failed." he coughs a couple times blood dripping out of his mouth, he wipes it on a sleeve with a pained expression. "Didn't figure she would have help and all. Shoulda been an easy snatch and grab.." my expression is void as I stare at him getting closer and closer. Stopping a few feet from him, he has a bow on the ground next to him and a quiver. In his right hand is a short chipped dagger. "What? Here to finish the job?!" He starts to struggle pushing himself up using the tree. I tense my legs quickly launching myself the few feet easily, my sword coming in an arc, slams home into the tree.

Blood splurting from his neck as my sword cuts through it with all the force of my body driving behind it and already being injured easily decapitates the slaver. Embedding itself in the tree in the process. The head of the slaver slips off the blade to the side while the body drops to the floor, blood dripping down the front of my jerkin. Doing a quick inspection of this slavers gear show that it isn't any better than the stuff I got from the last one. 'Need to get a dimensional bag or inventory skill sooner more than later, leaving money on the ground like this.' eyeing the bow inspecting the string shows that it has come undone with a cut splaying the string making it unusable for the bow, probably from when Myra escaped from them. Kneeling down next to the bow stripping off the string from the bow. And moving back to the body checking his pockets for currency, not finding any. I pull off his boots, taking laces from them, 'Can probably use the laces for weapon in a pinch, looping the string from the bow, and laces in loops from a belt loop on my leggings. I stand back up nabbing the dagger and its sheath from the corpse.

Staring at that popup, I toss the dagger over my shoulder. 'Nope..' hearing it hit the ground and finding nothing else, I place my boot on the tree. leveraging my hands on the hilt and yanking, the blade pulls free. 'Oh thats definitely going to be a durability hit..' I eye the blade that has a nick now, doing a quick check pulls its durability up before dismissing it. (Durability: 15) 'Will have to keep an eye out for a new one soon enough. Lets see experience earned already.'
Experience: 384/10,000
'As nice as that is ordinarily people would probably be level 2 already. An unlikely event to happen again encountering more scum, that I wouldn't get in trouble for cutting them down.' Looking down at the corpse giving it a slight kick, I turn in a random direction that doesn't involve me going back the way I came from or might lead a path that crosses Myra again.
~ A COUPLE HOURS LATER ~
Experience Earned: 30 Tower Coins Earned: 6
Looking back on my gains from the last couple hours after the bandit, I came across 6 different goblins, all solo. Earning myself 30 more experience and 6 TC(Tower Coins) giving me a grand total of 414 Exp and 7 TC from quick dispatches. 'It's a start.' The light starts dimming as I finally walk out of the forest coming out to a mountains cliffside that seem to run both to the left and right. 'Seems I've hit the edge of the floor.' Looking to the left and right I see some torches in the distance down the way to my right with what looks to be a cave entrance. "Ah that must be where the floor boss is and floor exit." as the words leave my mouth a couple of goblin heads poke out from the cave, I quickly step back into the shadows of the tree line to remain undetected. Determining it was safe, they walk out of the cave wielding wooden clubs and signature loincloth, they begin to shriek at one another, pointing towards the forest, after a moment of bickering at each other they scamper off into the tree line.
'Goblin's with weapons not a challenge, but keep an eye on my surroundings. Boss for the first floor should be a Goblin Warrior and three regular goblins. Maybe they will have clubs or not, depends on the roll of the dice supposedly. Nothing a fresh awakened should have trouble with.' Keeping an eye on the forest as I head to the cave entrance, I stop at the torches. 'Into the darkness, for power and growth.' mirthfully I head into the dark cave.
