As he closed his eyes and took shallow breaths. All he was thinking about was peace, no he longed for the void a tranquil place where he could finally relax... yet unwanted thoughts kept swarming his already severely injured head.

As he took his final breath, the weight of the moment settled over him.

"Am I finally free this time?"  he asked himself as he finally takes his last breath.

Death was inevitable. How could he describe such a feeling? The calmness, the overwhelming nothingness it was both reassuring and peaceful, a welcome escape . His mind once chaotic from all his past memories now quieted as the beautiful stars above had whispered a lullaby to his terrified soul. the void is finally calling him to a gentle, almost tender pull. It was not a place of fear. He felt lighter with each passing second, as if the very fabric of his being dissolving into nothingness.

His lonely, lifeless body lay beneath the Spruce tree, an expressionless mask frozen on his pale face though, with the deep gash across his skull, it was nearly impossible to tell. Blood pooled around him, staining the once-pristine uniform he had worn in life. His fingers, mutilated and severed from both hands, told a brutal story of cruelty—more than just the physical marks, but the undeniable signs of torture.

Above, a gathering of crows had taken notice. Their sharp beaks glinted in the dying light as they circled, their black feathers rustling in the cold night wind. With precise, terrifying hunger, they descended upon him, tearing into his flesh, feeding on the remnants of his life. The soft cracking of bones was drowned out by the eerie cawing, a haunting soundtrack to the scene

His miserable body was left unrecognizable.

Even in death, his body was not spared. No honor, no respect just the inevitable conclusion to an endless cycle. And though his life had ended, the weight of what's about to come next hung heavy in the air. Would he ever escape? is it truly over? Or is it just a new beginning?a cruel twist of fate once again?"
