Bonus Chapter

Kusokans: They are the humans who about a century ago started manifesting abilities, that were beyond human understanding. Over the years they are now recognized and treated as a different species. Their abilities have been a matter of great speculation and research while some considered them to be the next step in human evolution, others simply considered them to be an off-shoot of 'Homo-Sapiens'.

Awakening: It is the process of how a Kusokan manifests his or her ability.

First Paradigm: It is the time period that is marked as the greatest for human evolution, during this period humanity prospered and flourished and came out as the most superior race on the planet. There were many wars during the early and the middle ages of the 'First Paradigm' but humanity learned from these wars and started to build a civilized world governed by peace and mutual respect. After many years of peace, humanity again started baring their fangs at each other, the current generation of humans were all children born during the time of peace henceforth they advocated war as if it was something to be proud of. There were constant tussles and feuds across the globe, the arrival of the Kusokans further cemented the fact that the once tolerant humans were now self-centered and put their own needs first.

Isolization: It was the most pivotal moment in human history, it was an understanding all the countries reached, where they would practice self-sustenance and completely break ties with each other. They would cut off themselves from the world and abolish all trade and ties it was the only way to prevent intervention from bigger countries who were now openly meddling in the affairs of other countries. Gradually that led to the creation of various factions and another war seemed inevitable. The 'United Council' the peacemaking body at the time proposed many methods and sanctions against aggressors, but those sanctions were considered biased and motivated by the other faction which only made things worse. Ultimately what opened people's eyes was an all-out attack led by an extremely small country which was written off by most as useless. That small country was facing many aggressors and one of the Big powers was directly harassing them by constantly meddling in their affairs and making matters worse. The small country reached its breaking point after the bombings that caused countless deaths across the country, it was a reply to their constant retaliation by the bigger powers. The small country then did something unimaginable, they led an all-out attack on the largest city of the Big power in question. Within six hours of the battle the entire city was razed to ashes, the entire population reduced to dust. This was a testament to the fact that a battle between humans would basically lead to self-annihilation. This was when Isolization was proposed.

The Lul: It is an unrecorded period of time in human history, people often question how that came to be and what happened to the world during this period. There are countless theories but none have borne fruit. While some say that the lul lasted for a few decades others are of the idea that it could have spanned for maybe half a century or a century.

Second Paradigm: It is the new age for mankind, marked by the completion of Isolization after 'The Lul', it is a period where countries now have no connections with each other whatsoever, the new generation have no idea about anything other than their own country. It is an era of peace that humans and kusokans have attained after many years of struggle.

Tennyo: The first Kusokan who appeared.

National Civil War: It was a civil war that took place in the country where the story is taking place. It was fought between two primary factions; The Central States (Sub-servient states) and the Independent States. It was a war that lasted for about 22 years and is considered to be the darkest period in the country's history.
