There, in the forgotten rim between life and death lies the third portion of the coin. Undeath. That which all zealots claim is unholy, that goes against the natural order. Would you be surprised to know they are wrong? We live in a world of three dimensions, and so all must have all three dimensions to be in this world. That is why the gods do nothing when untended battlegrounds birth the lesser undead. Why those who meet tragic ends can harness their last dying breath and take an alternate path. Reincarnation is not a wheel so much as a used skein of yarn. The majority follow a parallel path, but there are others that can be reached.
