Long before the universe was created, when only the concept of time and space had been dictated, two entities of separate purposes existed in the infinite expanse of space. The first is Primordium, a being that emits essence, the energy of life and creation, while the second one is Terminus, an incarnation of destruction, a being that endlessly devours and turns everything into a void.

For eons, they have coexisted and committed to their only purpose. However, Terminus, without thought, decided that the amount of life and bountiful energy that Primordium produces couldn't satisfy its purpose any longer. Its purpose, as true to itself is to devour anything that could be devoured and even consider its existence as something that should be destroyed. It isn't driven by any desire, thoughts, or impulses, but just pure dedication to its mission.

Although, just like Terminus. Primordium has also been contemplating its purpose, as well as its true potential as a creator. It realized that its existence shouldn't be just a producer of essence that feeds Terminus, but a being that would fill the infinite dark space in which it currently resides, with light and vibrant life forms. Life forms that could govern the universe it wants to create and give them their own purposes that they could follow.

Through their connection, they both had been made aware of each other's intentions. Terminus planned to be mutually destroyed with Primordium, while Primordium wanted to create a balanced world, where creation and destruction birth the concept of life and death. A cycle where every living thing that it will create abides by.

Terminus, a being of destruction, couldn't create anything to counter Primordium. And Primordium, a bringer of life, didn't have the means to destroy Terminus. So to bring forth their intent, both had completely undo their restrictions and begun doing the only thing that they could do. And that is to create and destroy.

Primordium amplified the emission of its infinite source of energy to attempt to overwhelm Terminus. However, Terminus ended up devouring everything that Primordium could produce. This battle of theirs had carried on until another eon had passed.

Both realize that they are in a stalemate, and both can't advance to achieve their true purpose of destruction or creation. So to end this perpetual entanglement, Primordium, with no thoughts or feelings, decided that if it couldn't destroy and overwhelm Terminus, it would then try to seal its other half away where it couldn't reach its creation.

With that not in its mind, but something merely it wanted, enacted its plan and created a thick wall of essence, an encompassing essence, so vast and so thick -Terminus would take millions of eons to devour. It sealed up a space where it is different from the place they resided. A different realm, a different universe where nothing truly exists but only the presence of destruction.

Primordium then began pushing Terminus away from itself and imprisoned it within that realm. Terminus tried to eat away at the wall or the divider between it and Primordium. However, with Primordium's dedication, it constantly empowered the wall with its infinite energy and finally kept Terminis at bay.

After their supposedly battle. Primordium, without rest- which is something that it didn't need. Starts spreading its essence all over. Every nook and cranny of space that it could perceive is filled with its energy. After it had separated itself from its other half. It had finally had the freedom to do what it had truly wanted.

Primordium then created the universe that people now know, while Terminus waited for the day it could be free and devour yet again.
