Prologue

People of Rome watch as Emperor Constantine swore off the Roman gods and became the first Christian Emperor. With it the power the Olympus had gained in the rise of the Roman Empire has fallen and the only thing keeping them tied to humanity was the Greek Beliefs, but even the gods knew it was a matter of time before that failed them too.

All twelve olympians stood around the Hearth in the center as Constantine was baptised.

"Well, that's it," said a god with golden blonde hair holding a bow and quiver full of golden arrows. "Our reign is practically over."

"There must be away to save ourselves," A woman with dark ellgeant hair said.

"There is," the man in the head throne said brushing his black beard as his stormy blue eyes stare at the Hearth. "We must cut ourselves from humanity."

"We can't do that," said an elfish man with a staff with two snakes wrapped around it. "What of our kids? We still have many out there."

"What do you mean we?" said a woman with auburn hair holding a silver bow and quiver of silver arrows on her back.

"They will have to live without us," the leader said. "Until humanity believes in us again, we stay silent!"

"Lord, think this over," said a woman with dark hair in battle armor. "What of the other gods? They will want a say in this."

"They will understand once they realized it's us or them," the leader said as he summoned a bolt of lightning and struck the floor

Outside the sky boomed as the mountain flashed in a bright light.

Once the light faded the sounds of the mountain that mortals often thought was the gods doing what gods do went silent. Never to be heard again.

But what the gods don't know was at the cave of Delphi a fissure broke as a hidden voice broke out.

Gods gone silent, for years to come

Only through their descendents

They shall sound

When fallen rise,

The Earth shall shake

Titans roar as Giants awake

The last hope come when dream will tell

That the heroes will come and restore all

With that the crevice resealed and went silent, as if the words spoken have never occured.
