Netherborne's original launch was a complete disaster.

For those that don't know, on RoyalRoad, novels live and die on Rising Stars. Unfortunately, I had no idea what I was doing and didn't upload enough words fast enough, and because of that, this novel launch suffered heavily and fell off Rising Stars with 1400 followers. However, over half a year, the novel has grown steadily to a solid 3300 followers—showing it has excellent potential.

But after taking an almost 2-month hiatus in January to write my new tree novel, my retention has greatly suffered, and the newer chapters get very few views.

I am at a crossroads. I wish to continue writing Netherborne, but putting time into writing new chapters doesn't make economic sense, considering how well my tree novel is doing.

So I have come up with a plan. If I can relaunch this fiction, with it professionally edited and with a sizable backlog, I believe it can hit 5k+ followers and justify the time commitment of writing 2-3 chapters a week through Patreon.

So the good news is if the reupload of the novel performs great on Rising Stars, you guys will get more regular chapters, and the novel will run longer than planned! So if you have a moment, please head over to the reupload and give it some love.

For my current readers, I will keep uploading one chapter a week of book 2 to this version until the two have synced up, and then ill only keep posting to the reuploaded version.

So basically, you guys will notice no change for a while.
