Life is never kind, nor it is cruel. Uncaring and cold? Sure, but life goes on, it always does, with or without you. This is something that Both Lu Huan and Iulia must understand and accept. Their trials and encounters will guide them through, willingly or not as they learn more about themselves but also about each others. Perhaps they could help the other find relief and comfort with their own plights: when one is a refugee and survivor of a divine war and the other an ex-slave who witnessed something they shouldn't have, the pain and loneliness seems to fade away. This is my first big project, where I am learning as I go. you can expect: -Lesbian romance starting strong but going into a more slower pace afterwards-Emotion based ancient magic and classical cultivation with a new twist -Protagonist strong from the start becoming stronger-Protagonist who is a fem-presenting trans non-binary -Intense emotional drama-Various PoV changes to flesh out characters and the world around them-Bad coping mechanism (which will be slowly taken apart and changed for healthier ones)-Depiction of cruelty and child abuse (the chapters in question will be ear-marked in the top notes) Because i am now participating to this year Writathon, I am changing my schedules to the following:Chapters will be between around 3.5k to 4k words, and updates will be on monday, wednesday and friday.
