Ocean Princess: A Fairy Tale
The Princess and Her Ocean

The Princess and Her Ocean

Once upon a time there danced together a Princess of the Ocean named Sara Osheena. She danced with her superpowers, her Ocean. These two were very close and completely inseparable. You could not tell them apart. Their dance was vibrant and beautiful, filled with eloquent energy.

Through their dance, Her Ocean watched how the girl grew. She became aware of their environment and that this girl was not normal like the other children who did not dance along the path of life as they did.

One day, the girl was very sad. The world around her was mean and she did not know what to do.

"Do not worry," Her Ocean whispered in her ear. "I will protect you."

In a moment, Her Ocean overtook the child and morphed her into the girl that society wanted. When her assistance was not needed, it let go. With Ocean's help, the girl grew into a woman and Ocean with her larger than ever. It appeared to the world that they were walking through the path of life. When really, they were dancing.

Together, they continued this, but it was only a manner of time before Ocean realized that she enjoyed being in charge. She became greedy for control. More and more it took over, leaving the woman to be hidden inside and surrounded by a river of depth underneath.

"Do not worry," Ocean sang. "I will protect you."

The girl grew to enjoy her time inside her friend to be kept hidden from the world.

Through time, the girl looked out into the darkness while she was concealed and protected. Her Ocean whispered her lullaby as the days went on.

"Do not worry," Ocean continued to coo. "I will protect you."

The woman simply enjoyed the dance. It was graceful and wonderful. She was safe and warm in that little cocoon Ocean made for her. She was concealed and protected for all time and eternity.

Ever once in a while, she looked out into the world and became afraid of its darkness. It was completely black and white.

The more and more she looked, the more she realized its beauty too. She started to long for escaping Her Ocean to return to the light. She could see colors, but they were covered by Oceans blue.

Fighting for freedom, the two began to dance in battle as the desire for control became eminent.

"Do not worry," Ocean cried out. "I will protect you."

Soon they lost the melody and instead of moving in song, they moved to a separate tune that was not existent. The woman was stern on her freedom. She had to win. She had to save himself from Ocean and see the light.

With all her strength, the woman finally broke free of her dancing partner. How speedily she ran and how great her flight was.

Alone, she continued throughout the path. Still the music played in her mind. Like before, she started to dance; this time without Ocean, but the world laughed at her. her mistakes were surrounded.

Nobody danced through life. People walked along the path like everyone else. She could not dance like she once majestically had. Her dance before had been vibrant and beautiful and was filled with eloquent energy. Now it was weak and hideous, stained with failed mistakes no matter how well she did.

How she wished she could fly away from this. She badly wanted to grow wings and take flight where none could find her and most importantly, not Ocean.

But then again, she needed Ocean. she could not go on without it. Their dance was too important, together or not at all.

It was at that moment she knew that there was no music playing. She had simply imagined it. When she left Ocean, she left the music.

The woman looked and looked for it, but could not find her beloved Ocean. The colors were all around and that freedom she had so loved was blocked by that.

Then she opened her mouth and voiced a beautiful melody.

"Do not worry, I will protect you. Through all the dark and storm, I will protect you. You are my song, my music. Without you by my side, I am defenseless. Come back and protect me so I can protect you for I never did. My Ocean, my light, for you is the one I'll never fight. Do come to me, not away and flee. Worry never again, I love you till the end. Will I forget the protection you regret? You are my very best friend. Please dance once again. The duet is long past overdue."

How she danced. Her song was loud and vibrant like the dance of old. She could feel that familiar blackness stir about and in the corner of her eye she could see the Ocean behind a tree. Turning towards them, she finished her song.

"So do not worry. For this time I will protect you."

Then together, their symphony played on.
