“yes, I do. I know I can be a pain in the ass but I am so grateful to have you as my friend. I do not know what I would do without you. Thank you, so much” I hoped the fear in her eyes wouldn’t last, and I was grateful she didn’t remember but also saddened that she had this terrifying void and darkness that her mind kept coming back to trying to decipher what happened. And never getting an answer, which she knew was for the best it still kept nagging.
