The creature sat quietly in the corner, confused, it just gained vision, it had no idea what it was seeing.

the creature blinked, struggling to comprehend what was even happening, so without understanding it, he started to lock in form manipulation 2, and right after, the pop up disappeared instantly, it was even more confused, so it tried to move again, but on accident, it started to manipulate it's form, and all of a sudden, it had an arm. It looked at the arm, moving it around, before it remembered, the creature it just absorbed had something like it, but right before it could test more of it's arm, more people appeared

"man, I can't believe they posted this dungeon as dangerous" one of them grumbles. "nothing but weak slimes and mimics around" another said.

The creature had already hid in the shadows, because of it's dark form, it was hidden pretty well.

Suddenly, a pop up just like the one the creature saw appeared in front of the man who just said that, and the rest of the people followed.

Seeing this, the creature knew that, whatever they just did was important, so instinctually, he mimicked it, or at least tried to.

Nothing happened. The other adventurers kept talking to themselves, and the creature frowned--though it was only a blob with one single eye and an arm-- and tried again

yet again, nothing. The creature was frustrated, it too wanted a glowing rectangle, why? It was glowy. It felt jealous, so it used all of it's 4 braincells and tried one final time

The creature stared at the screen, it's one eye squinting as it tried to make sense of it but it couldn't either way. The adventurers, who finished checking their own stats, finally noticed him

"what the hell is that!" one of them said, reaching for his sword.

The creature, instead of choosing to absorb the adventurer, decided to try and use it's arm. It twitched before swinging at the adventurer, just a simple, heavy, floppy swipe, sending the man onto a wall, the impact killing him.

"get it!" another said, but immediately, the creature grabbed the female adventurer's head, smashing it onto a wall until she was unresponsive
