"finally"
The bus I have been waiting for has finally arrived.
My heart is pounding so fast. I have never been excited like this in my life.
I sit on the very last seat and start staring at the trees in front of me. The bus is almost empty.
Never-ending trees. The school I am about to start attending is surrounded by nature.
I wish I could have my own place to stay at but since the school is so secluded I will have to resort to the school dorm.
As I was staring at the tall trees the realization hit me that I am one stop away from my destination.
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
It's here. I exit the bus.
But something is not right. I can't see any buildings nearby. I can't see anything significant as of that matter.
I start to worry that I am los...
"Oh my bad"
"No, I'm sorry"
I quickly apologize. I was so deep into my thoughts I haven't looked at my surroundings at all.
I notice that the girl I bumped into has a backpack on. She starts to turn around.
"Wait"
"Hm?"
"Well, it is my first day here and I think I am a little lost. Could you tell in which direction our school is?"
"Ah I see, it is my first day too. It is about 10 minutes of walking from here. Just follow me"
Me and the person I just met start going through a narrow path between the trees.
She told me her name is Kana.
Mostly it was just silence. I am not really the most social person around.
I never had much friends, only one to two close ones.
Ah man this silence is killing me. Maybe I should just ask what class she is in for now.
"Oh we are here"
Kana pulls me back from my thoughts.
"You're right, my dorm is on the right side, I guess this is goodbye for now"
"Yep, see you around"
We say goodbyes and start walking in opposite directions.
