Xu Ling studied the building infront of him with utmost hatred. This bastards are really annoying to deal with, he turned to the rest of his teammates who were standing there curious while Chen Shu looked a little excited.

"This is on the basis of trust" he said dodgingly. He really can't explain the fact that he could see a huge dome of dark mana because that would have to mean revealing the system and he feels it's not yet the right time.

"Well I believe brother" Chen Shu said clenching his hand and glared at the building

"Since it's 4 against 1 then why not" Yihui said smiling. Xu Ling has a nice feeling in his heart as he looked at his teammates...now they could be called his first group of friends in this world.

The next problem was how to gather evidence. They couldn't just storm in and ask questions about how they were traitors and all so they decided to use backhanded methods like stealing the documents in their office while the suicide squad distracted them or causing chaos so that they can play their hand and reveal their secret but the problem was that all the evil entities in the building were high level so doing that might cause more harm than good. They discussed for like 30 minutes before deciding to go through the director's office to look for evidence then come back with the corporation to overpower them.

Since it was decided; they confidently walked through the gates then pretending something was wrong they demanded to see the director making a lot of noise about misconduct.

"You don't have to say anymore" a voice said and they turned to the main in his 50s standing at the top of the stairwell looking at them with a gentle smile. Yihui and Xu Ling turned to each other and nodded before facing him with a righteous expression of' I did nothing wrong, I'm on the side of the law'

"You have violated a regulation by not sending people to guide us. What if we are tricked by one of your prisoners and is killed. You know what, since I'm feeling good today then why don't you just guide us while the suicide squad members stay here just so that they don't get corrupted by the influence of the prisoners" Xu Ling said tapping his feet to get the feeling of I'm in a hurry.

Xu Ling blinked and the next thing he knows is that he's in a place that is very hot. He can feel the heat burning his lungs and he starts to cough to the point that his eyes tear up and begin to blur. He kneels on the floor feeling like he's about to cough his lungs out

It was only when this message arrived that Xu Ling was able to breathe again so he took huge gulps of air and shakily stood up.

The implications behind both of this options are equally bad so Xu Ling cursed in his heart.

He began to wonder how they found out, is it when they were outside the building the first time or have they been studying him during the period when he was trying to trail them just so that they could create this place as a trap for him. It doesn't matter right now Xu Ling, he thought. So focusing on his situation now he surveyed the place where he was kept.

The floor was lava and to the end of his line of sight contained only scorching flames that raged and danced in an intimidating way to the point that he was feeling hot just looking at it and at the center stood a thin old man with a deranged smile permanently stuck to his face and fiery red hair but looking more closely Xu Ling realized that his hair was actually on fire and he was dressed in an asylum patient uniform.
