When are they going to bring food? She's hungry. Lying on her stomach, she fell asleep, dreamt of a buffet of different foods laid right there for her to eat. Her mouth watered with saliva. She dug in, shoving them into her mouth, eyes filled with tears it was so good. She hadn't tasted something so good in her entire life. She ate until her stomach reached its capacity. Relaxing in the chair, she wondered what type of food awaits her tomorrow. She was smiling and then laughing. The ground vibrated, followed by screams. Men shouting something she couldn't comprehend. Opening her eyes, she found herself back in the dark room floating, people screaming underneath her. She looked at her hands. Her body was glowing red, Anybody who tries to get close to her turned into food. She realized that the room wasn't dark anymore. Illuminated by the red light she emitted, the wall caught her attention. It was all entirely made from food, bread to be exact. She drifts off to the wall and placed her hand on it. It was soft, her hands sank into it. She tore took a piece, they laced the bread with honey. She took a bite, instantly the room went dark, she fell down and lost conscious.

Waking up, she found out they strapped her to a chair. Two people went talking on the other side of the wall.

“Ma, let's talk outside” Ma looked at the short man. They stood quiet for a while, then she left the room. The short man followed.

They talked for almost an hour. The girl was hungry. She couldn't think of anything besides food. She wished they'll let her go back to the camp. At least she gets food there, her stomach growls, she let out a sound.

They walked in, a third person followed them. A woman, she was smiling, her eyes made the girl calm.

The short man bent down and placed his hand on the girl's shoulder.

“ Hey little one, you'll be staying with her from now on” his finger pointing at the third person.

They left the room to massive house. it's biggest the girl had ever seen. The hallway is big and spacious. The air is clean, it doesn't hurt the girl when she breathe it into her lungs. This is my new home now, the girl thought. The woman went to the kitchen and took canned beer from the fridge, emptying the content in her mouth. She sighed and smiled.

“ That felt good”

She took the girl and placed her on the counter.

“ I know you're hungry, so I'm going to prepare something for you to eat”

The girl smiled, but it was quick. The woman caught it but said nothing.

“So, what's your name?” The girl didn't answer.

“Hmm, you don't have one?” The girl shook her head.

“ So why don't find one for you” the woman seemed to be in deep thoughts, and then she spoke.

“ What about Nora, how does that sound?”
