Chapter 4 first quest

“come in” invite Iria to Lowi and Eva to come inside her mansion and then led them to room that has a chair and round table.

“I will back soon” she said and went to another room and left Lowi and Eva.

Eva ask where she go, Lowi said Iria always left her customer while she went to storage to take their order item. Iria storage room is quite big Lowi told Eva can relax while waiting for Iria in this room while he makes tea.

After fifteen minutes Iria back with a big bag with her and one bottle in her hand.

“Lowi, your order is in this bag and this potion for Eva” She said give them to Lowi.

“Eva take this you will feel better.”

When Eva drink it she got a message.

You drink Potion made by an expert Alchemist, resistance toward sickness increases.

Body temperature is rising

The cold is healed.

Physical ability returns normal.

Resistance against colds permanently rises by 3%

Resistance against water permanently rises by 4%.

Eva got better in instant and he amazed that she got resistance toward cold.

‘It amazing if I have this potion I don’t need to wary to get cold!’

This room is Iria workshop it located in basement can be said excluded from outside because there only one way in and out. Iria said it necessary for alchemist to keep their secret from leaking. As there are a lot of people competing in this city it is necessary at least this level for security.

“Eva, I will teach you how I made the potion. but in condition you have to keep secret what you see inside from anyone and agree to help me wiyh ‘THAT’. Iria said to Eva before they enter the room with serious face.

“Alright I promise, but can you tell me what exactly is THAT?”

“you will see it by yourself.” Then Iria open the door.

Eva is standing still after went in and saw what kind workshop Iria have as someone known as Expert alchemist. Eva really amazed that she can’t utter any word of how… amazingly chaotic this place.

“Iria when the last time you clean up this room?” Eva tried to break the ice.

Even library is never in this mess by their own collection.

“nope, this is her workshop you can see that her cauldron is in the corner room.” Lowi answer to Eva who tried to deny the fact.

“ahahaha haha haha haaaa~” Iria is laughing, tried to cheer up the situation but stopped as she got cold gaze from Eva and Lowi.

“Iria is really bad in cleaning” Lowi said as he showing a wry smile.

Seeing Iria that crouching down in corner room lamenting her own fault, Lowi giving a big sigh and then ask Eva

“Well that how bad situation is so Eva will you tidy up this place?

Al-Revis academy will hold a festival in three day. In this Festival there is one important Event for alchemists to show their worth in this town on the last day of festival. The winner will got rewarded with large sum of money.

Iria already preparing for this contest and researching how to improve her work, but she too focus on her research it result to she forgot to clean up her workshop. when she try to clean up (don’t ask how it happend) her workshop end up in mess. And her important recipe after long research for Event is buried in this mountain books.

Iria asked Lowi and Sergeant as they were Iria only friend she trusts for help. They agree to help her for clean up, in five days they finished cleaning the workshop and found the recipe.

but, three days after that tedious work, Iria comes again for the same request with more chaotic state from last time.

“can you believe it Eva? just three days it end up like this.” Lowi said with weary expression shown in his face look at mountain books.

“Well sorry for that but this time I secure the recipe for contest so it’s no problem.” Iria Retort

“yeah but it not solving this mess” Retort Lowi back

“argh, stop it will you do it or not! If you refuse then I will not teach you anything”

But it was a mistake move. Iria misunderstanding with what they do.

“Damn you lowi you dare do that in front of me!” she begins to go berserk.

“Iria are you by a chance Jealous?” Iria stop moving when she hear what Eva said.

“hey Lowi ddi you ever do this to Iria?” Eva ask Lowi

“Well I did do it to her a lot in the past” Lowi answer smoothly

“How it feel?” Eva keep pour oil to fire!

“then why don’t you do it to Iria she must be like it” Eva did the final strike!

“hmm we are adult already so I think it better stop doing it to her. though i did it a lot until graduation”

a small sound cracking make Lowi to turn his attention to Iria.

what he see is Iria with burning background behind her despite there no fire at all.

but Lowi can feel it mentally.

“you do it a lot to me without me notice it...” Iria mutter it audibly

“and you only do it to child” she rise her head and menacing face is shown in her face

“Iria?” Lowi felt he is in danger!

“YOU DAMN LOLICON!” Iria throw a punch. But Lowi dodge slightly and her punch smash the wall!

Cold sweat is dripping from Lowi seeing the wall were shattered by that single punch!

“why you so mad?” don’t understand what is happening as he just ask Iria.

“DON’T YOU DARE TO DODGE!”

Iria want to throw another punch. but Lowi seeing it coming and will be painful if it hit, he chose to run away from Iria.

“WAIT~” and Iria chasing him to outside. Left Eva alone in this chaotic workshop

“Well should I begin cleaning this place.” Eva attention is back to the pile up books.

‘in this world My strength is lacking, I also need to adapt with this mana thing’

Eva tried to analyze her situation.(or running away from tedious work XD)

‘if I can adjust it I will not need a potion or whatever.’

As she already experienced it beforehand Eva already know how to solve her problem.

‘but well, it more interesting to take it slowly it a waste to rush thing’

If time is problem she got a lot, if it magic problem she can solve it with ease.

“ it was still a lot of work” Eva got to think a method to finish her first Quest.
