Four days had passed and Zen had mostly used his time either on doing task or gathering information around. Since the raven head has decided to work on the inn, the stat bonuses he got after completing a task had slowly cut down the penalties he got before.

'Status Panel'

It was still below the initial state but with the pace he was going, he would recover it all by a couple of days or so. Due to his perfect evaluation points in bartending  the teen had also gained a skill called 'Distant Hearing' a support skill that enhances his hearing range abit.

Also, he noticed something strange as he got near his default stats.

Since all his movement felt heavy and slow because of the stat deductions, it seems his reflects got abit polished and his movements felt more lighter as his penalties dwindle.

His stamina consumption rate is also more effective than before.

In a way getting those penalties felt like some sort of training since it conditioned his mind as if he was moving with body weights. And when those heavy baggage had gotten rid off, his whole body felt abit lighter than it's used to.

He also decided to hold off on meeting the General or going to the Dojo since getting his body to it's default state takes precedence above anything else.

However, now that he's 70% back to normal, he decided to visit the Dojo to in order to learn that 'Martial Arts' skill.

After he finished his task that day, Zen decided to go to the outskirts of town and meet the master but no one was around upon arriving on the Dojo. He then decided to ask the neighboring houses for the location of the eccentric master.

They pointed him towards the central part of Genosia.

It made Zen apprehensive since that's where red players usually congregates but he decided to risk it though he put on some concealing equipment like 'Jester Mask' and 'Worn-out cloak' to hide his features.

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

Unlike the usual online games, Status bars or command panels can't be seen publicly. Only the users themselves can see their own panels and that's why NPC's and players doesn't have much distinctions. It also because of these explicit concern towards realism that the game felt more like the real world but in a more skewered feudalistic-era settings.

"T-This is..."

Zen was given a drawn out map by one of the neighbors but he gradually became skeptical as he reach his destination. As he got near the 'X' mark on the map, the area around him became more pronounced and gaudy.

The building got abit more flashier and the store signs are illuminated in blinking red tint possibly by some sort of a magic.

The raven head also noticed that the people around became more liberal with their clothing preferences. Plus the ratio among males and females became 1:3 in favor of the latter.

"W-What the hell is t-this..." Zen muttered unbelievably as he stared at the huge blinking sign at the entrance of the district.

Among all the games in human history, Niorehartz Online is considered the most liberal of all that gives players almost absolute freedom to do what they wanted.

Even so, there's just some things in life that you cannot do.

"Damn Is this for real? This is totally illegal right? right? Can a player really do this here? Zenix you bastard! the PTA and Unicef will have a field day if they got wind of this." Zen rhetorically stated in a dumbfounded manner as he stared at the sign.

In it's blinking glory the sign only has four words written in it and says,

Genosia Red Light District.

Authors Note : Whew after 45K words, finally the introductory arc is finished. I'm such a slow paced writer. (=_=)

I've decided that instead of posting one chapter every other day, i'll just upload the whole arc (which mostly consist of 40-50k words) in one go. The reason being since i like to marathon whenever i read something and waiting for periodic updates usually kills my interest so i ought to do the same here.

Though if you prefer the usual method, please feel free to post it down below. same goes for commentary and suggestions, i'm pretty much an open minded person.

I already finished the next arc so i'll upload it by next week or so.
