"Settle down everyone, settle down. Class, today we have an important lesson, our creation. 28,000 years ago, or 280 Giantyears, a small group of Giant scientists had an idea to create another species that whould almost look like them and whould be just as smart as them. They were smart enough to realize that making a species that was as large or larger than them would make them much harder to rear than a finger-sized one. When making us, they used their own genes, and a few other genes from animals like birds to give us our 'odd' and 'exotic' features, like pointy ears, odd hair and eye color ect. Anyways, we proved to be very easy to raise and just as smart as the giants. After this success, the scientists thought that we would make great 'companion pets' or even tiny new family members, so they announced their creation to the rest of the giant world and sold our ancestors to them. They called us L.I.P.S., short for LIttle PeopleS. We proved to be very popular with them, and after 150 years, or 1 1/2 Giantyears, we were as popular as cats and dogs. And by 500 after that, or 5 Giant years, we even had a sizeable 'feral' population. 28,000 years later, here we are today in class at school. Any Questions?"

"How long is a Giantyear?" "1 Giantyear equals 100 of ours, or the lifespan of the average L.I.P.."
"Are the Giants evil?" "As a species no, but just like us, there are good and bad ones."
"Did they really make us to be like pets or family, or lied and are really slaves?" "No, we were made to be pets, friends and family. I am sure of it."
"Why do we look so different and are much smaller if they made us from themselves?" "Well we, like I stated earlier, are mixed with more than just the Giants' genetics. We have birds, deer, and a few other organisms in our blood. Why are we this size since they used their own genes? Simple. They just tweaked the size part of their genes."
"Anymore questions? If not, please get out your journal and write down your daily notes."
