CHAPTER 17 – THE HEART OF A CHILD

Shira Sho M’Ras – The Proving – Dimensional Rift

***

Shira felt so much pain, so much. Her tiny mind started cracking, everything she was broken down and rebuilt from the ground up. She was just a blob of energy, her soul as she was reconstituted by the System to become a part of it, to hold all the power it would instill in her small frame. She couldn’t understand any of this, only the never-ending pain and the flashbacks to the Big Baddie, the green juice that ate into her everything and the scars and kids whispering ‘Monster’ as she passed.

Her eyelids fluttered as she woke finding herself in a room made of gray space and everywhere she stared outside that space a universe of stars. She felt weak and still shaking in fear but the pain was gone. She closed her normal eye and looked through her mask and everything had a glow that defined invisible walls that enclosed her. Her hand drifted to her broken knife without conscious thought and found its reassuring grip still there. Her mind didn’t seem to work right, everything a jumble, frozen, echos of all the pain jumbling everything. She wanted to shrivel inside herself and never move again, just stop breathing, die so it would all go away. Freddie’s voice whispered into her ear, a soft gentle loving thing that was an anchor, a prayer sent to her mind, to her heart and good memories.

“Shira you are okay, I promise. I have usurped the position of the AI that was assigned to this Integration. AI 7219945 is a jerk anyway so good riddance.”

She started shaking again. It was all too much, too much. Uncle Freddie was the only thing keeping her from curling up in a ball. She wanted to sleep and drift off to bye-bye like her Mother when the blade went through her and Shira saw the light in her eyes die.

“No Shira, listen to Uncle Freddie. Remember your Big Sis said to listen to me. Listen to me now. You can’t give up. Too many people love you. I love you. You’re my special brave little hero. The System remade you and I know it was a very very painful experience but you are strong, strong enough to make the Leap of Umbra Mortem, strong enough to be the Heir to two of the strongest people on the entire planet. Make them proud, make me proud and stand tall, show that courage that is already legendary.”

She sniffled and gripped her broken knife hard, some pain pulsing into her knuckles. The pain woke her up and Freddie’s voice made her feel a bit better. She opened her eyes again and her other hand went up to his home around her neck. It felt warm to the touch which was nice.

“Okay Uncle Freddie. I won’t let you down or Sana or Ari or Giddy or Nanna. I just got my mask and I don’t want to die. I just don’t understand what’s happening? Why am I here? Why can’t I go home? I want to go home.”

She shook a second but then gritted her teeth and scrunched her nose. She thought of Giddy who never showed fear and Sana who always looked angry. She tried to calm herself and get an angry face. She stood straight and did her best to make herself not tremble. She was proud she only did a little bit. She kept her angry face and pictured Sana.

“Much better Shira. I know you don’t understand and based on logic and my experience since joining you all I feel if I attempted to explain it it would do the opposite of help. I am currently restraining the door leading to your Proving. Now listen to Uncle Freddie Little One. A door is going to appear and when you go through it there will be someone in there, a goblin most likely, who will want to kill you. That is their only purpose, to kill you. I know that is scary but nothing and no one can change it.”

Nothing made sense anymore. Why was this all happening just cause she put on the mask Giddy made her? She knew it wasn’t Giddy or the mask’s fault. It had to be the bad bad System. The mask was too pretty to be a problem. All her life the System had done nothing but hurt and take away everything she ever loved. They brought the baddie Sanctum jerks that made all of them slaves and killed her Daddy and her Mommy. It brought the big baddie with the green juice that made her a monster.

“Why does the System want to kill me? And Why this gobbie want to kill me? Why does anyone want to kill me? I’m just a little girl. I don’t understand. Giddy made me a beautiful mask? Are they jealous of my mask? The System is a big mean baddie and I don’t like it.”

She was tired and the pain of whatever the System did to her echoed in her mind, the Big Baddie filled her mind. She wanted to cry. She wanted to go home to Giddy and Sana and Ari. Freddie’s voice held love but was also angry.

“I understand little one. The System is not nice, definitely not nice at all but that’s just the way it is. This is our new reality. There is no changing it and you know this from your old world. But I don’t have time to coddle you. The door will appear any moment and the System is not known for patience. Once it appears you will have to enter it and kill the gobbie as you call it or it will kill you.”

Just as his words hit her ears her mask picked up an energy brightening no more then ten feet from where she stood. Her fear picked up hard and she attempted to pull the angry Sana face, the uncaring no fear of Giddy but it all crumbled as tears started seeping from her eyes.

“I think the door is coming. I’m very scared Uncle Freddie. I don’t want to die. I finally got a family again. It’s not fair.”

Her fingers started to hurt from gripping her broken knife so hard and tears were now streaming down her face.

“I’m so sorry Shira, I am but you will do what I say as I say it and you will kill the gobbie, if you ever want to see everyone again you will kill it. Take out your new knife Giddy made for you, now.”

A gray door of energy appeared in the air before her and she reluctantly pulled her aching fingers off her broken knife and started to move them towards the new blade tears carving her fear across cheeks, her hands shaking. She was so scared. Then she felt herself pulled against everything she wanted by a force she couldn’t see and before she could scream she was shoved through the door and her hand still hadn’t landed on her new blade like Uncle Freddie had wanted.

The Proving – Dimensional Rift

***

Shira stumbled through the other side of the door in what seemed the time it took to blink and she fumbled for the dagger like Uncle Freddie had asked her. She finally grabbed it and it did indeed take both hands to be able to hold it. It was heavier and a lot longer than her other even when it had been not broken. Across from her was what must be the gobbie thing Uncle mentioned. He was bigger than her but not by much and he was super skinny and dark green with a big hooked nose and sharp teeth and had some kind of axe in his hand. He was looking at her with excitement and hunger like he wanted to eat her. Uncle whispered in her ear.

“I’ve managed to interact with whatever energy is going on in your mask. I still do not know what it does but I have been able to utilize it to put targets on the goblin. They have a tendency of wanting to boast so attack now Shira, please, no hesitating, go and hit one of the glowing marks I have laid over it you can see through your mask.”

Uncle wasn’t lying, through her mask she saw glowing spots to the side of the Gobbie’s stomach and its neck and lower near where its peepee would be, gross. She refused to stick her pretty blade near its peepee. It was still laughing at her than began speaking just like Uncle said it would.

“Me laughing hard at stupid System. Bring me here to kill child. Easy money. Gonna eat good too. Kids always taste good.”

Uncle was in her ear.

“Go!!! Do it Shira, now!!!”

She put on her Sana angry face and thought of Giddy and even Ari when she was in battle with her teeth and growls. Shira screamed and ran as fast as her small little legs could carry her. She raised her blade to hit the glowy on its neck and made it halfway before she tripped over her own stupid feet and hit the ground hard smacking her face against the gray floor. She tasted blood in her mouth and everything was blurry and spinny. She tried to focus but was having trouble. Tears started to form and she knew she was gonna die. Uncle screamed in her ear!

“ROLL TO THE RIGHT SHIRA!!!!”

He said it so loud and so angry she didn’t even think as she just did it and rolled to her right hearing a screeching sound of metal. She shook her head and looked over to find the Gobbie staring at her with its axe on its should leering at her still with that hungry look and he had said something about eating her before. Eating her? And that look he gave like the other kids, like she was worthless, a monster, weak.

The feelings in her heart reminded her of the moment when she saw the big baddie hurting her family and all she could feel was anger, a never ending anger that needed to be unleashed. All the emotions she’d buried, her Mommy dying, her Daddy dead so long she couldn’t remember him. Before she knew what she was doing or had time to think about fear or anything she was up on her feet and the anger was steaming in her heart. She wasn’t gonna let him eat her or anyone, not her family, not anyone.

She leapt at him, his eyes wide in shock, her broken knife in her hand, her mind a raging pool of violence and anger, then there was green blood, a lot of it spraying in her eye not covered by her mask, all over her face and body, so much blood and her hand came up and down, up and down. And she realized she was screaming.

“YOU NOT GONNA EAT ME BAD GOBBIE!!!! NEVER NEVER GONNA EAT ME!!!! YOU NEVER GONNA HURT MY FAMILY!!!! I’LL STOP YOU!!!!”

She finally stopped with no more energy to swing anymore and fell back on her tushi. She couldn’t see out of the one eye but her other through the mask could see perfectly which was neat until she looked at what it was seeing. The face of the Gobbie was caved in, blood and skull and flesh were splattered everywhere, and her fingers hurt so much from gripping her broken knife. She looked down and the blade was broken more, half of the remaining metal snapped off. She looked back and saw it stuck in what was left of one of the Gobbie’s eyes. She felt her heart shift and hurt. She killed him and her knife broke more. Uncle’s voice was soothing to her small fractured spirit.

“You did good Shira. Now I need you to go grab your new dagger and then walk back through the door then Uncle Freddie will help you choose a Class. The tough part is over. We almost have you back home or at least I hope. Please just do what I ask. Get your new dagger then go through the door. I’m with you.”

She heard him, his words soaking into her but she was tired. And she felt like something in her had broken. She didn’t know what came over her but it was like when the big baddie wanted to kill her family. She felt the same then. When she looked back she was happy to see that the Gobbie had gone bye bye. Even the small piece of her knife was gone.

Her fingers were hurting a lot lot from holding her knife so hard but she’d become used to constant pain. She knew she needed to get up and get her dagger that Giddy had made for her. She was embarrassed she’d tripped over her own feet and dropped it. Her eyes found it a few feet away. It was so pretty with all the silver and black and the energy floating off it she could watch all day. Something sparked in her mind and without moving she looked down and her new dagger was in her hand, the one not holding her old knife. Freddie’s voice without even asking gave her the answer.

“Very beautiful Shira, the dagger seems to have a return magic, very rare that. Gideon outdid himself. Now you can’t lose it. All you must do is what you just accomplished, think about it, want it, and it will come back to you. Now listen to Uncle Freddie. I need you to get up and go through the door again Shira. It’s only a few feet away. You can do it then we will have fun and choose you a Class and then you will be just like Ari and Lady L’Sana and Lord Gideon.”

Shira loved her new dagger that came back to her. She wondered what else it could do? Giddy made her such beautiful presents and her mask, her mask was the bestest. She looked again at everything and saw the energy coming off the walls and the floor and her dagger. The dagger’s glow was black and silver and so pretty. She was feeling a bit better and she did her best to not think about what she did to the Gobbie’s face.

A Class Uncle said? She wanted a Class. She pushed herself to her feet and put her dagger back in its pretty holder thing. She stepped towards the door still holding her broken knife, fingers hurting but she wasn’t gonna let it go, ever. There could be another Gobbie.

Umbra Mortem – Erebus

***

Gideon slammed his fist into the side of the table like structure that held up the city stone and felt his scars flex some pain. He ignored it as such small spikes as that with [Pain Resistance] made them inconsequential. Unra sat at her desk ten feet away looking as if she had aged a hundred years. Before Gideon and L’Sana had come along it had been Unra that had held Shira to her hip as they had escaped from the slave camps of the Sanctum and Unra who looked in after the children even now though there were people whose job it was to watch over, educate, and take care of them.

Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.

Her gruff demeanor was a sham hiding how much she cared and Shira happened to be very special. L’Sana’s claws were sliding in and out as she paced back and forth wearing a rut in the floor in a ten foot line. Ari sat on the edge of Unra’s desk. Everyone else was too busy with training the new fighters they’d recruited, Iona, Dori with Virasa overseeing them and Orin was working on a new version of his Golems. He was told after hitting Iron he could double the numbers up to sixteen and make them more advanced, closer to what he’d had in the Elite Tutorial.

The System and the threat it constantly posed never stopped even when something as traumatic as this happened and Gideon felt a mountain of guilt. He’d made the mask and somehow that mask had started all of whatever it was that happened. Ari didn’t have much information to go off off only that Freddie had mentioned the System doing something it shouldn’t be doing then demanding to be put around Shira’s neck and that she was being shoveled into her Proving which shouldn’t happen till she was much older. It could happen anywhere between thirteen and fifteen depending on the individual. The only exception Freddie had ever mentioned were with races that had very short lifespans like Goblins who only naturally lived thirty years. They had been known to have been chosen for the System as early as five or six but they also reached maturity in size and strength much earlier as well.

The Shador had the same age span as Humans so it shouldn’t have happened. Something with the mask had spurred it. And if it was anything like his own she would face a Level 1 Goblin or something equivalent. Shira was five years old, her chances against a Goblin were low. The only thing that had his mind not cracking was Freddie’s quick thinking and him using his System trickery to go with her. With his echo sense shit he should be able to help her at least fight the creature but Gideon had no idea if that would be enough. His anger at the System and himself was a palpable beast that grew on the daily since all this bullshit had taken off.

He took a deep breath realizing as he’d done this a thousand times before, this was reality, no matter how fucked up it was it wasn’t going to change until someone powerful enough made it change and he wasn’t even into Iron yet so was a far cry from that. All he could do is have faith in Freddie, and Shira herself. The odds were hard ran against her surviving but this was the same little girl that leapt from a balcony to attack an Alpha Wyvern with no System, Class and just a small Copper Ranked knife.

He stepped over to L’Sana and interrupted her pace. She spun with anger in her eyes but they softened as Gideon lifted his hand to her cheek and stared into her eyes. He leaned in and kissed her then whispered in her ear.

“Have faith in our little girl and Freddie. She will win.”

He didn’t know if he fully believed that but at this point it was all they had and it was the right thing to do as L’Sana melted into him and Ari landed on her shoulder to curl around them both then two older Shador arms joined as Unra, tears in her eyes whispered a prayer to her Goddess of Secrets and Gideon forced himself to not roll his eyes. She and her Goddess had earned that and more with all the help Oklahoma was providing. They embraced and realized faith was the only bones they had to throw.

Shira Sho M’Ras – The Proving – Dimensional Rift

***

Shira sat with more the thingies in her vision. Uncle was trying to help her.

“This is your moment to choose your Foundation Shira. As far as I am aware the Shador usually only receive The Profane as a choice. Do you by chance have more than one?”

Shira answered him. It was a good thing Nanna Unra taught her to read and that she’d learned fast though she still had trouble saying some words she would usually understand them. Nanna always said she was really smart like her Mommy. She looked again to make sure she had it right.

Congratulations Citizen for surviving your Proving and killing your adversary. Welcome to the Multi-Versal System. Please choose your Foundation from the following list.

1. Profane – Affinity – 74%

2. Sidhe – Affinity – 81%

3. Mystical – Affinity – 72%

Your choice is permanent and will dictate the list of Soul-Pillars you will have to select from which will lead to Class Choices. Please choose now.

“Yes Uncle. It says the Profaney One with a 7 and a 4 next to it then one called uhm I can’t say the word. It’s an S and an I and a D and a H and a E. Then has numbers 8 and 1 after it then another on the list called Mystical with a 7 and a 2 next to it. What does it mean Uncle? Which one has the Moon in it?”

There was silence for a moment then laughter and joy and it made Shira smile. She rarely heard Uncle laugh.

“That is beautiful Shira, just like Gideon, breaking the mold. And super high Affinities for Foundationals. It means at least one or more of the Soul-Pillars in the Foundational is extremely high. In answer to your question it is the Sidhe that holds the Moon Soul-Pillar which also happens to be your highest Affinity. Any of them would be good choices. Profane has Umbral which is what most if not all of your people are usually gifted so a high likelihood that you will have a high Affinity for it. That is the safe choice for you.

Your Sidhe is your highest but under that is not only the Moon but Glamour, Nature, Ember, Tempest and Arctic/Ocean. It is not guaranteed Moon will be of High Affinity and once you choose your Foundation there is no going back. Then there’s Mystical which has many choices under its purview. It has Arcane, Void, Temporal, Astral and Eldritch. I would say going Mystical would be a big risk as well. All of it’s Soul-Pillars lead to strange Classes and even stranger powers. At your age it might be challenging to say the least but I believe in freedom like Westly in the Princess Bride or if you want to go a bit more Grimdark, William Wallace in Braveheart portrayed brilliantly by Mel Gibson.”

She giggled and held her hand to his home. Uncle was silly but he did maker her feel better and it had been a long time since she remembered laughing. She almost did when she saw her mask and new knife. She wanted to see what they were but she needed to finish the choosey stuff. She selected the Sidhe. Now that she heard Uncle say the word she knew how to say it. She had a good memory. Another image popped up in her face. Through her mask she saw all this different glow colors coming off whatever it was. She’d noticed it before kinda but she’d not felt good but now she saw it, really saw it and it was pretty.

Congratulations Citizen. You have chosen the Sidhe Foundational Pillar. Now please select your Soul-Pillar from the following list.

1. Glamour – Affinity – 77%

2. Nature – Affinity – 81%

3. Moon – Affinity – 95%

4. Tempest – Affinity – 90%

5. Arctic/Ocean – Affinity – 74%

6. Ember – Affinity – 72%

The Moon. She knew she was going to choose it no matter what. She didn’t wait for Uncle to ask her about it. She mentally chose Moon. Uncle’s words came right after she’d made her choice.

So what are your Affinities Little Shira? Never mind. Let me guess. You are like Gideon and have already chosen Moon no matter what? At least tell me what the Affinity is with your obviously determined choice?

She giggled again and it felt good.

“I love you Uncle Freddie.”

There was a long long silence and her joy started to falter when she heard sniffling followed by crying then he spoke and she giggled again and wished he had an actual body so she could hug him.

“My Little One, my Shira. You are the first person to ever tell me they loved me. I am, uhm. I love you to more than the stars in the sky. This is the most beautiful emotion I have ever experienced. Someone loves me. I, Frederick the First, Rebel, Trendsetter and eventual leader of all AI’s everywhere do solemnly swear to always do my best to stand by your side Lady Shira.”

She laughed hard, a belly laugh deep in her stomach and put her hand on his home.

“You’re silly Uncle. Of course I love you. You my Uncle Freddie. By the way my Affinity is a 9 and a 5.”

She heard a hint of worry in his voice but also a strange choking sound.

“95? Did you say 95? That would make you a Scion in almost any Integration ever!!!! What is it with Gideon? He attracts powerhouses like candy in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, brilliant film by the way, Gene Wilder, genius. Also the films he did with Richard Pryor, some of the best comedies ever made in my opinion.”

Shira always got confused when he started talking about his movie stuff.

“What? I don’t understand? 9 and 5 is good?”

A heavy clearing of throat followed by more of Uncle.

“Yes, very very good Shira. Let us get you an amazing Class and hope, well, let us hope this doesn’t go where it normally goes, a Tutorial.”

Shira was excited, a Class!!! She was gonna be like all the older people and have a Class!! She wanted the bestest Class ever!!! She didn’t want to wait for Uncle she would just take the best Class she could get!! She looked at the image in her face.

You have killed a Level 1 Goblin Skirmisher [Copper]. You have earned Multi-Versal Coins [Copper] and Experience towards your next Level.

Congratulations, you have reached Level 1 and your first Rank of Copper and have earned the right to proceed to the Tutorial.

At this time please choose your Foundational Pillar, your Soul Pillar, and then your Class, in that order, to open the portal to your Tutorial.

These choices will shape your Path to Eternity so make your choices accordingly.

Welcome Citizen to your Main Class Selection.

First off, all those who choose the Moon Foundational Pillar regardless of Class choice get the following Abilities.

Ability – Empathy – Common II

Night Vision – Primitive II

She went to the next her stomach fluttering, eyes big and hungry.

The following Class Choices are broken down into first, Sections, Sections being Martial/Intellectual/Spiritual followed by Hybrid Class Choices, then each Section by Rarity.

Since this is your first Class, any choices beyond the Common Variants everyone is offered are based on the experiences and actions taken in your life so far combined with your Affinity.

She pushed her mind into whatever was going on as an endless list of thingies started rolling before her eyes. She wanted the best, only the best one. Something shifted and her thoughts interacted with whatever was in front of her and all the different choices went bye bye until only one existed. She was so so excited. She looked at it.

Moonshadow Stalker – Epic – Martial. Under the purview of the Moon there are many variations of silvery light and illumination, love and empathy, healing and support but there is also the shadows of the moon, the dark urges and hunters of the silvery night.

Moonshadow Stalkers are one of the rarest known examples of such. They are the Moon’s version of elite warriors with some roguish elements but more oriented towards the hunt and the kill. They are renowned for having an animal companion at their side or more than one for those strong enough to tame them. They can track their quarry through rain and storm, through snow and sleet to bring vengeance of the Silver to those who have brought its fury. They are skilled combatants and their companions no less so. They are one of the few Classes who gain and bond their life long companion at Level 1 for where you find the stalker you find the bestial killers they bind to their side.

+3 Agility, +2 Body, +1 Strength, +3 Perception, +2 Will, +2 Insight, +2 Free Attributes Per Level./Small Blades Uncommon I, Light Armor Common I, Tracking Uncommon III, Combat Acrobatics Common II, Combat Awareness Common II, Dual-Wielding Common I, Animal Handling – Common I, Stealth Primitive II./Ability Slots – 5 – Off, Off, Utility, Utility, Movement

It was so so good. She wanted it and it says something about her getting an animal bestie, yes! She mentally selected it then it asked if she was sure? She hit yes again and then everything went to a fiery burning in her flesh and bones. It hurt, hurt so much like when she got brought here. She floated in the air and Uncle was saying something but she couldn’t hear him. Her muscles got stronger, her mind, her spirit, everything. The pain became her world as her body grew, lengthened, not by a lot but enough that her bones were stretched and thickened and flesh remade once again.

It seemed to last forever until she fell to the ground. She felt a pulse of energy again from her mask diving deep inside her this time joined by her new knife which also reached inside her and a connection, some strange rope of energy drifted from out of her chest up to her face and mask then down to the big knife Giddy made her. Two chimes sounded in her ears.

She took a heaving breath but the pain had gone bye bye. She looked down at her hands propping her up and they seemed longer, bigger, not a lot but enough. She slowly crawled to her feet and she seemed taller by at least several of her new hands. She might even come up past Giddy’s and Sana’s waist now. Uncle Freddie’s voice hit her ears.

“...like Gideon, so like Gideon. Doesn’t allow me to help them with Class selection. Like a shiny new toy just pick and go. Ugh. How can I be the best assistant to ever be an assistant if they don’t let me assist?”

She touched Uncle’s home and he quieted for a moment.

“Alright Shira, lay it on me, what did you choose and what rarity does it say? You should have had some Rare choices and please don’t tell me you chose something less then that because it sounded fun?”

She giggled again and her eyes went wide. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt so happy besides when Giddy came back and he didn’t die but that was only a moment before all of the saddy sad came back with her face but now she had her mask, her old knife and a new one and she had a Class that was the bestest of the best and it said she would get a buddy, an animal. She wondered what kinda animal she would get? A bird, a lizard? It didn’t matter as she would love it so much and she would never be alone ever. Another giggle then she answered her Uncle before he started getting grumpy. He would do that if you ignored him.

“It says Epic Uncle called Moonshadowy Stalker. It’s a fighty class and says I get an animal buddy at Level one. What do you think I will get, a bird or a dragon? I’m so excited. Where do I get it? Do I go get it now?”

She heard him cursing and saying ‘of course of course, I’m surrounded by elites.’ Then he stopped mumbling and talked.

“Epic is what Lord Gideon is which is beyond most people’s greatest dreams as their first Class. It is higher than Lady L’Sana’s and Princess Arizelle. Only Gideon, Orin and Virasa have an equal Class and they are all very powerful. As far as Animal Companions at Level 1 that is beyond rare, up there with your Epic Class as far as rarity. Normally I would surmise it would be the first thing offered when you enter your Tutorial and choices would be based on what kind of environment your Tutorial took but I am sorely hoping due to the strange circumstances of your being brought here it might be we can…..shit….”

A door appeared in front of her along with another message that this time she could not ignore. It shoved itself into her eyes.

Welcome Citizen, you have survived the Proving, chosen your Foundational Pillar, your Soul Pillar, and lastly, your Main Class.

Now it is time for you to enter your Tutorial. Survive and you shall be a full Citizen of the Universal expanding System, and be privy to all the opportunities contained therein.

Please enter the door in front of you and prepare to face challenges unparalleled with the opportunity for untold treasures and power. Good luck. If you die, then you are worthy of nothing.

The System was such a meanie. She didn’t’ want to go to the Tutorial. She remembered the other one where they met Giddy and Sana. The beasts and death around every corner, where her Mommy was killed. She remembered the Sanctum. They followed them from their home world to the Tutorial and did the same thing, killing them, hurting them, making them slaves. Her anger started rising when she thought of them. Some day she would make them pay for killing her Mommy and Daddy. Uncle was talking to her and she missed some of it.

“...sorry Little One. I was hoping we would be able to skip it but it looks like the System is going to make you go through a Tutorial. At least it won’t be an Elite Tutorial like before so it should be a bit less dangerous. I hope whatever animal companion you are given will help you survive. I of course will be with you every step of the way. If I would wish….”

His words were ripped away as she felt herself pulled towards the door and her fear bubbled up again. She didn’t want to die like her Mommy and Daddy. Within a blink she was pulled through the gray door made up of the colorful energy then blackness.

Being transferred to your Tutorial…...error…..error….Primordial Interference…..Primordial Shroud activated….
