The origin of pain

The origin of pain

Hung woke up in the dark. His mind was numb, his body felt heavy as if it didn't belong to him anymore. Everything around him was unfamiliar. He didn't know where he was, and why he was still alive.

"Where is this?" Hung muttered in his mind, feeling the cold, unfamiliar skin. He looked around, everything was too quiet, nothing like the house he used to live in, or even the dark room where he died. But the pain in his heart was still there, haunting every cell, every thought. He knew he was dead - betrayed by his wife and best friend, who took his property, leaving behind a helpless little daughter.

Hung tried to sit up, his rough hand touching his face. It wasn't his face. He was reborn - but not in his old body. Instead, he was reborn in a completely unfamiliar body.

Memories mixed together

Slowly, he stood up and walked to the old mirror beside the bed. In the dim light, he saw another man's face. Messy black hair, sunken eyes, and pale skin. This was not the Hung of the past. This body was older, stronger, but also had many tired wrinkles. A complete stranger.

He was shocked, raised his hand to touch his face, a cold feeling spread through his skin. "Who am I?" Hung tried to understand, but the memory of this person was empty. Fragments of memories from the past mixed with the present, creating a strange confusion. Only one thing was certain: he had been given a second chance to live, and to take revenge.

He remembered every detail of his death. Thu and Quan. The two people who pushed him into a tragic death, taking away everything he once owned. The pain of being betrayed by the person he loved the most was still there. Now, he was reborn in a different form, but the hatred in his heart never changed.

New Truths

Hung began to learn about the body he was inhabiting. This person was named Tan, a 40-year-old man who had lived a fairly normal life but did not have many close friends. Tan lived alone in a small house in the suburbs, working as a car repairman. His life seemed to have been forgotten, leaving no significant mark.

Hung gradually understood that Tan's life could be a perfect cover for his revenge plan. In his new identity, no one knew he was Hung - the one who had been murdered. There was no past attached, no relatives to suspect. This was the perfect opportunity for him to secretly plan and make those who had betrayed him pay.

During this time, Hung still thought about his daughter. The girl, who was only six years old when he died, was probably older now and living in an orphanage. The thought of his daughter made his heart ache. Hung knew he couldn't rush into revenge right away. First, he had to find the girl and make sure she was safe before confronting those who had harmed him.

The Journey Back

Tan's body gave Hung new opportunities, but it also brought many difficulties. He had to learn to live this life again, get used to the job of repairing cars, and interact with people Tan had known. The first days were really difficult, but Hung gradually found a way to integrate, taking advantage of the simplicity and lack of attention of this new life to gradually implement his plan of revenge.

However, inside him, painful memories of the past kept rising. On sleepless nights, memories of Thu and Quan came flooding back. They used to be his family, but then they betrayed him without mercy. The sweet words, the promises of being together forever were now just lies.

"There won't be a second time, Thu," Hung whispered in the dark. "This time, I will be the one to decide your fate."

Revenge plan

Hung decided not to rush. With his new identity, he needed time to observe, monitor and plan. He would start with Quan, the friend who had blatantly betrayed his trust. From Tan's old relationships, Hung gradually found clues about Quan - now a successful businessman, benefiting from that betrayal. He still lived a lavish life, but Hung knew that Quan was not a strong person. Deep down, Quan was always worried about the past, afraid that the truth would be exposed.

While secretly following Quan, Hung saw him from afar, still as arrogant and confident as ever. The anger in his heart flared up, but he held back. "Not yet." Hung told himself. He would make Quan live in fear, make him feel the pain he had experienced.

Hung's journey of revenge began. This time, with a completely different identity, he will not let anyone know who he is until the plan is complete. His heart is now filled with hatred, and he will not stop until both Quan and Thu pay for their sins.
