Of Bedknobs & Broomsticks

…..:::::|. Delicatessen Seventh .|:::::…..

Where was he even? Siin’s brow was twisting with frustration now as they crossed the threshold of the restaurant. There were flowers and wine he’d needed to procure before his evening plans he’d decided upon before. Percival was always so disrespectful of his time. Siin huffed.

“Oh, please enter Gale-Killer.” The wench, greeting, shown all her bright teeth smiling them both in. “And sir.” She said dipping a brow toward Siin. “I will find our best seats.”

The aBn was shocked at her title-less greeting and shot looks about the place. The two were seated in a lovely booth of woods and silver finishings washed in sunlight but Siin was still offended as Halycind ran down a long list of foods for the wench to fetch. When she’d gone to fill the order he erupted in pouting huffs.

“Does no one know what an aBn looks like?” He said looking about himself at all the patrons minding Halycind’s entry and whispering to each other in smiles.

“Oh are you sore I insight quakes, magus?” She giggled as he slammed a pouting chin to his elbow-propped fist. “Wasn’t it just your words that equated us in glory? Am I not as mighty as you just stated...aBn?”

He eyed her cocksure smirk and challenging glare. “The teasing, puppy. It’s going to get you in trouble.” He half-grinned, still attempting to hold contempt.

“Depends on what you call trouble.” Her address was hotter than she’d wanted to serve in the moment but she was still loosing the care to control her mouth.

“You’re memory is too long.” He said staring.

“Seems yours is as well.”

“When in regards to you, Princess.”

“Now you’re making me think things.”

They were served hot foods quickly, even as their stares were heating the space between them.

Two of his fingers and a thumb plucked a meaty morsel from her plate and presented it to her lips as she’d done with the leaf earlier. “Eat up, puppy.” She took it, with teeth and tongue and grin, and he instantly regretted serving her in such a manner.

“...Ooor you’ll make yourself dizzy with compliment.” To quell his arousal, Siin lowered his look from challenge to examine the view through the bright window. He’d already decided the discussions he’d wanted to share with her would be fitting for something later, cozy.

Somewhat feeling her gaze on him, looking out of the diamond glass panes for Percival’s arrival into the Sector, Siin was only half in the moment for he was really starting to question what was taking their Exemplariat so long.

He also began to eat as Halycind shoved him bowls of tasty looking cuisine. He didn't eat much around others, it was something as a subkin he’d grown to habituate in order to keep disparaging looks at bay. But he liked eating with Halycind. He felt comfortable with her. Even more so now.

He’d wanted some meaningful time with her at a park in Havvenchael’s Center Circle later, where he could lay the place with flowers and hire troubadour song to set her a proper mood and have wines served to her that would be pleasing to her taste but not interfere with her good recovery.

He’d wanted to do this in the evening filled with magi throwing aloft sparkling spells so he could tell her in full all his mind and heart and how impressed he’d become with her fighting prowess and pulling and philosophies and personality. Wanted to tell her why he’d made some of the decisions he’d made while she slept and all the things he'd do with her after his duties had been accomplished.

He was distant, now watching the outside, waiting for not sure what, and Halycind wanted to know what he was mulling over as he ate with her. The place was well furnished and people seemed happy here. She liked Havvenchael’s energy overall and wondered if he was thinking the same.

For the moment, she let him have his thoughts.

Siin sighed and flipped all his hair over. He had a lot of hair, more than she'd noticed before and with it tipped in teal, it was strikingly different from every other head in the room. He’d been right about his station not being easily recognized because she remembered even she first teased him about it in Ladi Gru Has. So she surmised that the sightings of aBn around the world had been so few in number, their station likely seemed more mystery and folktale than something as recognizable as a monster-killer.

He was giving his heat, from under all that armour, some escape, clearly, and she could now sight trails of sweat from his hairline, where the sunlight sat on his exposed neck. She could see his pulse jumping rhythmically under his skin and there, she could plainly follow the two colours of his markings where the blue of his back side was beginning to blend in more with the ruddy-honey of his front, more than it had before. She liked the thought of him becoming more blue in tone. It looked soft, his neck, and she began to wonder what the rest of his body looked like under that. Was he sweating else-places?

She'd only seen his frame a bit before, lying flat on his face in wet bathing robes and half-wrapped in soaked bed coverings, then on The Tawny Swan when he’d stretched but she was annoyed at his display then. None of these instances had afforded her a good enough look.

“Where is that man?”

“Well, he might not know where we are, Ynggrloch.”

“I told Percival I’d meet him in the Seventh. And he’s got to come in this way, so I’d see him, surely. Told him what I needed to do was important. Dunno if he was listenin' though.”

Siin was waving off Percival’s disrespects and Halycind finally noticed the make of his hands. They were strong looking, delicate still, but well sculpted. She scoffed at her own obliviousness before now, for she’d only just noticed he wore jewelry.

“You wear rings.”

“All mages wear rings,” He retorted in near-confusion. Had no one noticed this either? “...or necklaces or jewelry of some sort.” He stuck out all ten fingers looking fully now at the five rings scattered across his digits. “Thinking of getting a set. Maybe nine?”

“Why not ten?”

“Then that's just outright. You’ve got one on every finger at that point.”

“What's the difference?”

“Self-editing. The difference between just enough and too much, the difference between being charming and being some dark figure lurking your bedroom door at night.” He scoffed. “There’s magic in’em, you know?”

“There is?”

He looked on her fully, now, stalled in her forkful of wonder. She looked like she wanted him, much like that velvet girl outside, but this touch he was opening to taking. His own thoughts started to collapse into beckoning charm and he flicked purplish-blue spiraling lights from one of his ringed hands.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

“Sparkles...like you like.” He said staring into her eyes between the falling flying motes of his magecraft.

His flourish was too much for her in the moment and she grabbed the hand that had whisked tiny lights.

“Wait—whuh—where are we going?” Siin queried being pulled from the table.

“I can't stand this any longer.” She growled, dragging him down the line of diners eating.

“Cash?! What're--”

“I was dead Siin, I'm not waitin’ anymore!”

A few of the patrons turned up confusions as they watched the Gale-Killer drag a man through them to the back halls and into a cluster of small rooms. She pushed open a door, kicked around a few pails and boxes all while starting to pull him close to her face.

Almost mindlessly, eyes locked with her, he’d helped her kick things and shove the door closed as they worked to situate. Her shapely lips were pouting for his and she attempted to toss arms about his yoke in this cramped pantry.

"What are you doing, wolf?" His voice was deep and eager and wanting.

“I wanna get in trouble.” She urged looking from his eyes to his lips in hot anticipation.

He huffed in all his aroused body from the memory of those words she'd uttered not too long passed. The tips of his pointed ears flicked and he wanted to give her trouble. So he did, as his lips slammed against hers crashing into his.

Far too many things shot up his middle and his skin was suddenly alive with her kiss; alive and hungry. The kiss was full of rushed breath from the sudden heat of the moment and once in, became something far more rich in its passionate delivery. Something Siin's entire childhood had waited to know.

Halycind’s kiss.

Immediately fierce. Immediately charging. What she'd gracefully held from everyone else, she was openly giving to him, right now.

The thought made him rip heavy clothing from himself as she tore away her own leather to allow him access to her untouched skin. His touch, in fact, was different on her than it had been on others when he was learning how to express desire in the brothel.

For a second, he couldn't feel her at all, not registering he'd even been given right to taste of her, let alone be the first one to embrace her.

Nothing was as he thought it'd be for their first moments in one another's arms. There was wine and flowers and troubadour song in his romantic musings somewhere but there was also now something under his boot. A broom handle possibly? And something sharp next to his elbow that he kept knocking against.

But it was her kiss. Princess Halycind Carabaan-Cashtiel’s kiss he was partaking in. The pup he played with and protected in youth. The girl he dreamt of every night when he'd been stolen from her. The woman who'd warmed up to him in Ladi Gru Has. The warrior he’d watched wake from near-death.

His need for her was growing and his passion, heightening. Half-open glances taking in her beauty between inflamed pecks and blood-rushing kisses, the warcaster found it quite difficult to chose which place on her body he wanted to hold first. Out of all the times he'd held her in his head, he was at a complete loss on which action to take first now. His tail wrapped up to her hairline then back down to her legs at points. His palms were at her waist and then cupping her jaws at other points. His whole body was confused.

He was better than this.

He felt like a first-year in the brothel; eager for release but having no map to get there.

It was her vicious moaning kiss that allowed him no time to consider his movements. He'd never heard these sounds from her before and they almost angered him for how good they rang in his ear.

This was what she was hiding away for someone on the edge of Blood & Honour? This was what her desire sounded like? Felt like? He was wild for hearing more of it and he was sure he could feel his pulse in every cell of his body now.

Something fell, as she wrapped a wild arm about his head, pulling his kiss closer. This was a woman who's unpredictable nature kept him guessing of anything and everything she was capable of doing and he suddenly wanted to rule that wild-heart.

His hands clasping her arms and forcing her elbows to the shelf behind her, he clamped her palms to his waist, wrapped his thick tail about her back, and kissed the girl like he know how to do. Like he'd always wanted to show her he knew how to do.

There was a crescendo in her moan, the kind he understood as that rising necessity of more in the moment and one of his palms slid into her hair at the back of her skull to guide her into a much more comfortable position.

He was much stronger than she'd realized and even that new knowledge made her struggle for more of him. She was learning him, in the moment, and he could feel a shudder go through her. She felt like she needed him; like her body wanted to know every part of him. He shared more of his passionate knowledge in shifting the kiss again, but he, then, suddenly, lifted to question her with half worried breaths.

"Haly…are you sure you want me?" The nervous uncertainty was all over his face.

But Halycind’s unswerving and breathy words were real as she brought him back into her kiss. "I want you."

She sounded so incredibly sure, something he knew, now, he hadn’t been ready to hear. She was huffing her petition but sure of her mind. And he gave in to schooling her lips; having made decisions on top of other decisions.

He had very much wanted to finally be loved by Halycind. Even if this moment were interrupted for lack of room and comfort, the thickness of her thighs would be well-wrapped around his waist before the day's end, he swore to himself. And her hand would be forever in his, to be no one else's.

It was sure enough, the kiss, for her to fall in sync with his rhythm and grow a tremble from the sensation of it all. Was this what a man's kiss was? Igniting? Hard almost to the point of pain? A hugely welcomed pain? Was this what love felt like? Suffocating, under a skilled friend's tongue. Then she realized he had a longer tongue than she'd noticed, different from her wolvkin kind, but immediately mind-blowing.

She didn't know when to breathe, when to shift the kiss, not like he did—with both hand and tail—but her palms found their home beneath his undershirt, spreading over his hip-line, crawling up the sides of his well-sculpted waist and digging across the bend of his ridged spine. That travelling caress caused a somewhat surprised moan from him which made the tip of his wrapped tail press hard into her hip.

As their kiss grew more comfortable she also realized they both had fangs, and as obvious as that should have always been, the reality of it hit her now. His were a bit sharper and slimmer. Hers, blunted and fatter. And she shuddered from loving the feeling of a shared commonality. He was careful with them but part of her wanted him not to be.

One of her legs found its way, locking itself around one of his and she found he was quite sound of stance, wrestling with her wrestling to understand what he was in this moment, what a man felt like offering his desire against her. Surety? Strength? She was beginning to like this feeling. This feeling of Siin Ynggrloch. A lot.

How his body moved. How his musculature felt, toned and tense. How that tail carried such strength slithering about her curves and squeezing her into him. How utterly clean he smelled bathed in citrus. How hungry for her he sounded. Close, wanting, and unbridled.

She suddenly wanted to take this so much farther than a kiss and was knocking around, likely important things, in her process of removing that undershirt.

Panting and free from a few articles of clothing, Siin let her look on him for the first time in her want and glanced to her heavy bosom snatching breath after breath for what she finally let herself rightly see under all that armour.

She either didn't or couldn't speak, overwhelmed with open desire but he saw it all in her, honestly, and he craved whatever she wanted. Then her fingers brushed around and down his chest to a mark there on his belly just above his navel.

“You've tantantoa?”

“Since, I was a baby.”

Her own chest dipped in a heavy breath from the fiery caress of having never examined his body enough before to have seen this nine-pointed star. He was such a lovely man and she squealed pining for him as she gripped that waist into her. She wanted all the rest of these clothes to come off.

Their eyes locked once more in their heavy breathing and he grinned as she shoved her face to his again, trying to pull him as close to her as two beings could be with out sharing skin. Siin was happy. Happier than he'd been in memory. Happy to be crushed so close to her in this kiss. He and his tail snatched that wrapped thigh up his leg to his already gripped waist and he ran fingers in the rim of her waistline to travel up her undershirt. He was remembering how he wanted to touch her and let himself start it all.

Their closeness, indeed, only offered time for musings and urges and moans and caresses, though both their thoughts on how to further the heat of the moment in this tiny a space were hemmed at the high-point when the pantry door eased open.
