Third World

Sylvia woke up groggy and surrounded by trees and grass and other plants, a so called forest.

How did she get here? Why was she here? And more importantly why is is a blinking blue dot with an exclamation point on it floating in front of her?

The moment she acknowledged the dot it expanded into a screen that had a lot of information that seemed important for some reason.

Founder

A legendary class capable of creating dungeons

Designate an area as your base. Mana will accumulate around your base concentrated on the center.

While in your base you are capable of using ambient Mana in place of your own.

You may use materials to create things you know of.

(Ex: if you have wood you can make a wooden sword or a chair.)

"It provides no stat bonuses, but it lets me make a base. And make things by having materials?"

Monster Tamer

Unheard of, this class grants you command over monsters.

Monsters who submit/ally to you or lose to you in combat come under your command.

Monsters gain a portion of your total stats

Every cycle a monster is created and summoned as a soul bond.

Soul bonds can use your Mana pool and skills/spells. Vice versa as well.

You may only have one soul bond per 15 levels.

"Okay so this one is all about building your forces, and gaining many allies. I can, with enough stone build a fort or even a city to house all my monsters and anything else Founder let's me make. Pretty safe."

Cleric

A being touched by healing

You can learn any and all healing spells and skills.

You can tell the status of any neutral or allied creature by looking at them.

Allied creatures heal for twice as much.

Undead allies take no damage from divine based healing coming from you

Every two levels you can choose a healing spell or skill to learn.

"And this one allows my best monsters to use healing and possibly make another base?" That seems a bit iffy. But if they're bound to me they won't hurt me right? Cause it is a soul bond? Like my existence and theirs tethered? I think?"

Why am I not in a total frenzy from how scary this is? I wake up, I’m in an environment that has not existed for over a hundred thousand years.

“Everything is so green.” Sylvia had never seen a real tree before, let alone a forest. To own a plant you needed a special licence. And to even get within a hundred kilometers of a forest you needed to not only have special permission from the world governments but be accompanied by an entire squad of military personnel in special battle suits.

Remembering this panic began to set in before it just went away, which further induced panic. This cycle continued for a bit until she was finally able to actually be calm.

“Okay, so I'm in a place guarded by the entirety of humanity’s might. There’s an extremely high class projection that’s likely a brain implant since it doesn’t actually cast light and reacts to my thoughts.”

“I’m going to be executed and branded as history’s most evil, stupid and insane criminal for breaking into sacred lands.”

As she was thinking this she heard the breaking of a cracker and a sound she’d never heard before.

The cracker cracking had confused her before the other sound stabbed itself into her heart.

It was a low rumbling that sounded unlike any machine she’d ever heard, it was guttural  and struck her with a primal fear.

Something inherent to humans, something forgotten, a wretched feeling that she’d never experienced before; the feeling of being hunted.

----------------------------------------

Stilk was a smart goblin, he’d never fallen for any traps even when the other hunt leaders did. He smelled human, and it smelled tasty. His pack smelled it too and they all set up to surround it. They found one, it wasn’t that big and looked weak, and more importantly scared, and it hadn’t even noticed them yet. Good.

Then the idiot goblin next to him stepped on a twig and instantly the human was at attention.

It couldn’t see them, probably, but the look of fear was gone it was confused.

Stilk almost ran away at that sight. A human whow asn’t scared was a dangerous human this deep in the forest, no matter how weak they looked. He still remembers the human who threw fire and lightning from his hands and long stick. Sure they killed it but they lost half the hunt pack that day and they were almost recovered from that fight.

So, Stilk was relieved when the human took a look of absolute horror, it looked like prey, and so they pounced.

----------------------------------------

Soon a group of small green apes with long pointy ears and human noses shot out of the brush holding thick branches and one had a fucking spear!

As soon as they closed in a light enveloped Sylvia, and time slowed.

The one with the spear was almost at her leg with there were others targeting her other limbs and probably head. They were still in the air and she could not move either.

Another screen like the previous one appeared before her.

Your species and stats shall be changed

This cannot be refused as you are a being from another world who has been reborn before.

Sylvia found herself in a world of white light with another screen, this one gold and black.

As a Twiceborn you may choose your stat distribution

You have become an Abyssal Ligerkin

The light subsided and I was surrounded by the unmoving creatures. Thinking about it clearly, they're goblins aren't they? Not that that is going to help me much.

You have six seconds before time moves again. Consider this a gift for your third world.

Thinking quickly Sylvia ran foward; her new body moving far beyond the speed a human should be able to, and grabbed the spear goblin by the face before draging him across the ground then tossing him away from her. Then turning faster that she should be able to she rushed at the other goblins who were still in the air and struck them tot he ground, the last two crashed into eachother as time began to move for them again. Stunned by the disapearing prey they  didn't notice her until she'd already slammed one into the dirt.

The final goblin stood still confused by what happened and saw all his allies on the ground.

He wanted to run away but knew he couldn't.

----------------------------------------

Stilk had not expected the bright light from the terrified human, and he was a smart goblin. What he expected even less not even a genius goblin would have expected.

His pack was on the ground all far from him one got slammed into the ground in front of him. The human was gone and instead a bipedal monster with a crown of horns and fur blacker than the deepest cave with stripes of gold stood before him. There was a crimson crystal on the beast's chest the size of Stilk's head, and one the size of his fist on its forehead.

It was terrifying, and clearly fast since it took down his entire pack before anyone could notice it there. Did it belong to the human? No, that doesn't matter.

Stilk needs to escape and warn the rest of his tribe of this monster's presence.

So, he lunged at it. His club hit and the beast cocked its head in mild confusion.

Stilk seems to have made a mistake.

----------------------------------------

Sylvia was briefly scared because instead of running the last goblin who was also still armed immediately struck out at her.

Then she was confused because it barely hurt. And now the goblin looked absolutely terrified, so she reached out and grabbed his head.

Activating her Taming ability for the sixth time.
