Awoken by the calming sound of water rushing and echoes of birds chirping, Aldrin tossed and turned in bed as Cybri the home assistant read out the weather forecast. Opening his eyes groggily, Aldrin's vision was slightly blurry before quickly clearing up. Getting out of bed, Aldrin said"Cybri draw the curtains." As the curtains drew, the faint glow of the sun made its way into Aldrin's room. Looking out the window, the sun had just risen slightly above the horizon. Its golden hues clashing with the neon colors of holographic displays and LED signs. Dragging himself into the bathroom, Aldrin looked at himself in the mirror. With messy hair and half-open eyes, Aldrin washed his face before brushing his teeth. Feeling more refreshed, Aldrin combed his hair before walking out of the bathroom. Heading into the closet, Aldrin took a special black suit fitted with carbon fiber gun holsters at the side. Changing into his suit, Aldrin walked out of his closet before walking out of his room. Walking into his kitchen, Aldrin grabbed himself a cup of warm water. Gulping it down, Aldrin put the cup down on the table, before unlocking the door. Before walking out, he said"Cybri, power off." As the aircon shut off immediately, Aldrin made his way to the base. Walking out of his apartment complex, Aldrin proceeded to make his way to base. Arriving back at the alleyway, Aldrin checked the time on his cybernetic arm. It was seven in the morning. Putting his finger on the thumbprint scanner, Aldrin swung the door open. Walking in, Aldrin turned the lights on before laying back in Luke's seat. Resting his leg on the table like Luke did, Aldrin shut his eyes hoping to get a few more minutes of rest. About ten minutes into his sleep, Aldrin was awoken by Luke's voice calling him. Slowly opening his eyes, Aldrin saw Luke standing right in front of him. With his hands on the table, Luke shook his head and asked"What time did you sleep yesterday night." Confused and still a little dazed, Aldrin replied"Eleven, twelve? I can't remember." Shaking his head Luke said"You idiot. Anyway get up, I need to do some work. I got some pork buns for you it's on the table." getting up from Luke's chair, Aldrin Walked to the other side of the table." Opening the plastic bag, he could smell the aroma. Taking out a plastic box for the bag, water droplets had condensed on the underside of the cover. Taking the cover off, Aldrin picked up a pork bun and peeled the paper that stuck to the bottom of it. Biting into it, Aldrin's eyes widened. Looking up from his file Luke asked"Bro, you good?" Slowly chewing, Aldrin said, "It tastes exactly like how my grandmother made it in Hong Kong." Putting the file down on the table, Luke asked"Wait, you're from Hong Kong?" Chowing down on the pork bun, Aldrin swallowed it before replying"Yeah, my parents brought me over to Japan after my grandmother passed on. So I was like nine or ten" As Luke looked back at his file he asked, "Wait then how do you not have a Chinese name." Walking toward the gun rack, Aldrin replied"Oh, that's because my parents didn't want it and because my father came from Hong Kong I have a Chinese surname." As Luke nodded he said, "Ohh, so that's why you're called Aldrin woo." Nodding, Aldrin took the sniper rifle off the gun rack before reloading it with a new magazine. Slinging it on his back, Aldrin took a pistol off the gun rack beside him and slid it into his holster. Sitting on the smooth concrete floor, Aldrin asked, "So, Luke what's your backstory." Looking up from his table, Luke said"My father is from America and my mother is from Japan, that's why my full name is Luke Yoshida." Then Aldrin asked," So you didn't adopt your father's surname?" with his concentration on his work diminishing, Luke said," Fuck it, I might as well talk to you, so yes I didn't adopt my father's surname." As the both of them went back and forth sharing stories, as time passed the clock hit seven forty-five. Getting up Aldrin took the earbud from Luke and put it in his ear. Putting his mask on, Aldrin did his final checks before getting a the car with another unknown agent. With Luke speaking through the earbud, he said"Mission two Hiroshi Akira, don't mess up Aldrin." Nodding, Aldrin said, "Copy."
