SUNNY MANCHESTER
A SHORT STORY
BY KANE
Harry Wu was thinking about Sophia Bogtrotter again. Sophia was a forgetful muppet with dirty warts and tall fingers.
Harry walked over to the window and reflected on his urban surroundings. He had always loved sunny Manchester with its quaint, queenlike quarries. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel sparkly.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a forgetful figure of Sophia Bogtrotter.
Harry gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a delightful, sweet, tea drinker with greasy warts and spiky fingers. His friends saw him as a quaint, queenlike queen. Once, he had even brought a short puppy back from the brink of death.
But not even a delightful person who had once brought a short puppy back from the brink of death, was prepared for what Sophia had in store today.

The drizzle rained like smiling elephants, making Harry unstable. Harry grabbed a tiny hat that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.
As Harry stepped outside and Sophia came closer, he could see the kooky glint in her eye.
Sophia glared with all the wrath of 9485 ruthless magnificent maggots. She said, in hushed tones, "I hate you and I want some more Facebook friends."
Harry looked back, even more unstable and still fingering the tiny hat. "Sophia, you must think I was born yesterday," he replied.
They looked at each other with anxious feelings, like two angry, anxious aardvarks dancing at a very cowardly Valentine's meal, which had indie music playing in the background and two thoughtless uncles partying to the beat.
Suddenly, Sophia lunged forward and tried to punch Harry in the face. Quickly, Harry grabbed the tiny hat and brought it down on Sophia's skull.
Sophia's dirty warts trembled and her tall fingers wobbled. She looked stable, her emotions raw like a super, shivering sausage.
Then she let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Sophia Bogtrotter was dead.
Harry Wu went back inside and made himself a nice cup of tea.
