When Cody woke up to his alarm, he was drowsy and didn't want to get out of bed. Once he remembered that it was his friend's birthday, he jumped up in excitement. Cody always liked to talk with his friends and play Terraria, his favourite videogame, together.

As he was getting ready as he normally does, he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that something, he didn't know what, would go wrong.

When he got into his car, he noticed that his car was a little louder than normal, but he put it aside.

While he was driving down the highway, his car's brakes failed, but Cody didn't realize this until it was too late. As the truck was sliding out of control, it hit Cody's car head on, killing him instantly.

When he woke up, he was in a dark room lit by candles. A voice made him jump, and told him he could move on or be resurrected into any fantasy world of his choice. He could choose any three items, to bring with him to his new world, should he choose it. He chose the world of Terraria, and his items were a Zenith, a terraprisma, and a set of solar armor.
