A striking image came to memory when I looked at the looming nothingness in front of me. ‘Your phone was outside the EMP range, it should still work.’
“Alright Reece, I'm trusting you.” Reaching within my back-pocket, I clutched from within a black, flat rectangle. Bringing it to life caused a sharp light to enter the room, illuminating the area around. Whilst the Auditorium hadn’t been too dark, the bright light appearing from the screen was still with notice as I heard a loud shriek sound out from ahead of me.
The creature, who’s form I hadn’t been able to grasp or clearly see before, now appeared like ink to paper. Long, thin, skeletal arms stretched out from the creatures torso, which by the looks of it was lacking a lot more than food, as several rib cages were placed on display within clear view.

With the momentary shock of the light over, the creature’s red beady eyes locked onto me the same way I would view a custard pie after dinner. Delicious…
Reaching my hand around towards my back, my hand seeking to grab onto my most trusty weapon, the weapon which I had used to slay all monsters up to this point. The weapon to which. “Where the hell is my sword…”
“Oh, no..”
Having been given perfect opportunity the creature made to lunge at its target, which so sadly, happened to be me. Thoughts like, ‘I really want my sword right now’, and, ‘I wish I had magic spells, who needs a sword when they have magic spells.’
Making a narrow dodge, my body began to move on pure instinct, even with the statistic increases my strength and speed had become twice that of the standard person, which I assumed was 10, but even then this monster was fast. Whether it was from lack of eating or pure muscle power, and I had to stall this for 30 seconds! Screw 10 seconds!
