{Silvia} Its now been 6 years since I hatched here my parents are very nice people and my sister is cute and adorable she is 4 years older than me so she is about to go to school in the capital it took me 3 years to learn how to read and write I can speak bird-kin and common fluently as well. My mother tried to introduce me to some of the boys around town but they are all scared of me. Hey, its not my fault that they have soft skin and my claws hurt them honestly if they didn't act like I was theirs id have been nicer I think. I've also learnt that the capital is on a floating island well more like a continent it's huge but yeah its near the central sea. I also know that my real parents are dead the village they lived in is burned to the ground. I can also spin web I have small ducts on my legs and hands that help me make it. I'm too afraid to check anywhere else on my body plus I'm only 6 it's just wrong ok. I still feel awkward when I'm going to the toilet and dresses just look weird on me with my legs sticking out the back the first few ended up tearing.

{Sophie} * Tackles Silvia and hugs her*. "I don't want to leave you, sis, I want to cuddle and play with you all the time please hurry up and grow so you can go to school at least travel with me to the gates of the school little sis".

{Suzette} "Come on Sophie let go of Silvia and finish getting ready the carriage is going to leave soon".

{Sophie} "But mum why can't Silvia come she is already smarter than me at least let her talk to the principal".

{Suzette} "Alright she can come but we have to show your status to the principal ok Silvia then he might let you go to school but it's only a chance it's not certain ok Sophie".

{Sophie} "Yay ok mum". *She jumps up and down while hugging me*.

{Silvia} "Mum are you sure you want me to try and go there early won't you and dad be lonely if I go".

{Suzette} "Silvia you are special so special to us and we want the best for you your too smart not to go to school so enjoy it plus I think you might find the girl you're looking for".

{Silvia} * Stares incredulously at mum*.

{Suzette} "What don't look at me like that I figured it out by how you interacted with those boys. And how you stare at your sister and all the other young girls around town. Of course, your father still doesn't know and your sister was the first to know after she caught you staring and how you hugged her. By the way, she is your sister so stop that its wrong you know". *She says that last bit with a frown*.

{Sophie} *Whispers to Silvia whom she is still hugging* "it's ok I don't mind it's kinda exciting just don't tell mum".

{Suzette} "Ok now that that's over with let's get you girls packed. That means the things you need for school only. Any other things you can buy while your there that means you can only take one pillow each although I'm sure Silvia can make more while you're there".

{Silvia}  Oh yes that's right after playing with my silk I came up with the idea to use it and some of Sophie's old feathers to make a pillow. They are so soft that soon my parents and Sophie wanted to make a nest of them. One big nest for my parents in their room and a small nest for Sophie in her room. Of course, I have some in my hammock which I made in my room from my silk.

{Sophie} Oh, I'm so glad Silvia can come to school with me I know the principal will let her in they would be crazy not to. With her stats, she might be better than some teachers who knows. Well, also I'm not letting any harpies take my sister away from me even if mum says it's ok she is my sis and I love her.

I watch as Sophie takes off and flies down to near the carriage our house is in a tree like most bird-kin houses so Silvia ended up weaving her silk between her legs on her back to make something similar to wings that let her glide down after she lowers her luggage to the ground with a rope of silk. I fly down to the carriage as the girls are boarding and get in with them their father is at work and has already said goodbye to Sophie*.

{Carriage driver} Ok I'm here to pick up a bird=kin girl and her mother here they come now. Hang on that's an arachnae never seen one of them before I wonder what she is doing here.

{Suzette} "Hello thank you for driving us and could you not stare at Silvia she is a bit young and an arachnae but she is my daughter as well". How rude of him just staring at her like that he should be ashamed of himself she is not something to stare at all the time she is my beautiful youngest daughter.

{Silvia} Damn it's going to take a day in this bumpy carriage to get to the nearest teleport gate to get to the school lucky we each have my soft comfy pillows to sit on so our backsides won't hurt. I feel sorry for the driver even if he stared at me but my mum told him off for that.

{Carriage driver} Why it's not like I wanted to do anything to her at least not for a few years. She is beautiful though with silver hair and silvery skin and the armoured parts of her are reddish black. It's stunning not to mention those rose gold eyes I can see once she grows she will be a beauty like no other.

{Carriage driver} "Ok ladies we will be going through the gate shortly then we will be at the school".

{Silvia} Oh I have to see this. * I lean out the window and see this giant arch with blue mist in it as we are getting closer it looks beautiful and I can feel the power coming from it*.

{Carrige driver} "Miss be careful the gates are safe but things can still happen its best to sit inside and stay still so nothing goes wrong".

{Silvia} "ok mister". * I sit back down and look out the window*.

{Suzette} "Ok Sophie you should go to orientation and ill take Silvia to the headmaster's office".

{Sophie} "But mum why can't Silvia go there after orientation".

{Suzette} "You know that's not how it works Silvia isn't a student yet so she can't go to orientation but you have to so go on ill look after Silvia".

{Sophie} "Ok mum but one more hug from Silvia". * Hugs Silvia and kisses her cheek before running off*.

{Suzette} I'm worried that Sophie is falling for Silvia hopefully once hormones kick in she will fall for a nice guy. "Ok, Silvia lets go visit the headmaster their office is this way". *Starts leading Silvia through the school and up into the castle there is an office on the second floor knocks on the door and waits*.

{Silvia} Weird Sophie just kissed me it was on the cheek but still its something she has never done before. Mums leading me through Hog.........Freyas academy and as we are walking I'm getting lots of strange and weird looks its like no one has seen an arachnae before. Ok well, now we have stopped in front of a door that says headmaster on it.

{headmaster} "Ok I'm coming ". *I walk to the door and open it and there before me is one of my favourite students Suzette*. "Oh, Suzette what a surprise I heard your daughter was coming here this year. Hmm, what was her name. Oh yes, Sophie, i expect good things from her. But why are you here you should be with Sophie as support for orientation".

{Suzette} "Hi headmaster Gilder im here because of my youngest daughter". *I pull Silvia in front of me its funny she acts all shy in front of men*.

{Silvia} Whaaa he is a giant. * I hide behind my mum*. He is scary how tall and hairy does one guy have to be he looks like a bear is he really the headmaster. What are you doing mum are you trying to feed me to him. *My mum drags me in front of her beween her and the scary guy*.

{Gilder} Ok i wasnt expecting this Suzette has an arachnae in front of her and she is saying this is her youngest daughter what is she saying. "Umm are you saying that you have an arachnae daughter . I thought your husband was birdkin".

{Suzette} "Your right my husband is bird-kin. We adopted Silvia while she was an egg. Two thieves were kidnapping her but at first, we thought she was bird-kin but then she hatched and we kept her. We love her as our own daughter so please treat her as such".

{Gilder} "Ok i understand but why bring her here she is obviously to young for school".

{Suzette} "Well i was hoping you could make an exeption on age for her if you check her stats you will understand why".
